Tony Hutchinson is in for an awkward encounter in upcoming Hollyoaks episodes. After agreeing to a date with Marie, things take a surprising turn when she goes in for a kiss, catching Tony off guard. Despite being divorced, Tony feels unsettled in The Dog flat and Marie quickly worries they might be moving too fast. In an attempt to keep things light, the pair opt for a cosy morning of tea and cake. But the chemistry between them heats up again – until Diane arrives home early from her test. While she brings good news that she’s passed, the bad news for Tony is Marie is hiding in the flat.

The tension rises when Diane discovers an earring among the cake crumbs. Tony is busted and scrambles to lie about having drinks with a random woman. Diane, furious, tears into Tony – all while unknowingly calling on Marie for support.

Meanwhile, Ste is determined to get to the bottom of James Nightingale’s disappearance and heads to the Love Boat. He finds James’ tie, convinced Rex has imprisoned him. Rex, however, denies any involvement and says he only kept the tie for Ste. Unable to explain a mysterious phone call, things escalate as Ste trashes the Love Boat, ignoring Joel’s desperate pleas for him to stop. Rex then makes a shady call, revealing Ste has become a “problem.”

In more drama, Vicky is wracked with guilt over Sienna’s imprisonment, knowing it’s due to her and Robbie’s deception. When Rex refuses to do a break-in at the Maaliks, Robbie takes matters into his own hands – but ends up injuring Vicky in the process.
Will Tony be able to wriggle out of his sticky situation? And what will happen next in Ste’s desperate search for James?
