Billy feels guilty lying to his family as Dawn buries her suspicions. Aaron encourages Mack to put a stop to Billy’s fighting before it’s too late and Mack does his best to talk Billy down from the fight but Billy is adamant he needs the money. Meeting with unrelenting Jade, Billy tries to back out but he’s underestimated to realise the people he’s dealing with. Mack’s aghast to see Billy on Main Street, being escorted to the fight by Jade. He tries again to talk Billy down but Billy insists he has to fight for his own safety. Soon Aaron’s convinced by Mack to go with Mack to Billy’s fight and try to help him.

Meanwhile in the Warehouse, Jade unpacks the dangerous rules of the unlicensed fight and the penny drops for Billy that Aaron was right about the nature of the event. Billy realises he has made a big mistake….

Nicola’s cogs are now whirring as she’s guessed Carl’s upset is related to Tom, but her son clams up when Tom unexpectedly returns to the house. Nicola’s left frustrated Carl can’t be honest with her. Calling Jimmy discreetly on her phone she reveals Carl’s mood is to do with Tom and is intrigued to spot the radio-controlled car in the bin. Questioning Carl about the toy Nicola manages to get some information but Carl is scared about telling her the truth. Later, Tom is grilled by Nicola and soon Jimmy’s concerned by what he’s hearing as Tom tries to cover up his lies. Nicola threatens Tom with the police…

Moira has some explaining to do. Clearly confronting the prospect of Moira’s death is Cain’s deepest fear.

Gail is frustrated with Ryan and unravels her woes to Mary and Bob and is soon roped into joining the book club.

Matty and Moira are set to go ahead with their plan, Cain is surprised to hear when they tell him. Cain is struggling with the prospect of her going away. As Moira and Cain comfort each other both are painfully aware this could be a rehearsal for a more permanent farewell.

Tom is under pressure

Chas invites both Liam and Ella to Halloween in the pub, Liam struggles to hide his feelings for her. Meanwhile, Paddy has delayed sacking Ella but she’s picking up on his strange behaviour. Liam awkwardly confesses his feelings for Chas and she reciprocates and they end up kissing. Liam prepares to break up with Ella. But will it go to plan?
