The plot thickens in Coronation Street tonight (Wednesday) as Carla Connor (Alison King) finds herself in hot water over the mysterious murder of Joel Deering. In a thrilling series of flashbacks, viewers will see Carla leaving the factory and encountering a shadowy figure in the dead of night. But rather than coming clean, Carla has kept tight-lipped—despite her close relationship with DS Swain (Vicky Myers), who is also under the investigative microscope.
Tonight’s revelations suggest Carla may be hiding more than anyone suspected. As her photo is added to Weatherfield’s infamous crime wall, we are left questioning: does Carla know the identity of Joel’s killer, or could she even be involved? Or is she protecting someone else entirely?
