As Doctors fans brace for the last chapter, Elisabeth Dermot Walsh (Dr. Zara Carmichael) gives us a glimpse of the drama about to unfold. ‘Zara is NEEDED at The Mill,’ Elisabeth reveals. The practice is under siege by Dr. Graham Elton (Alex Avery), whose sinister plot threatens everything and everyone who’s stood for what’s right at The Mill. ‘He’s shown himself to be racist, homophobic, manipulative, and full of dinosaur attitudes that are escalating into dangerous aggression,’ she adds. The stakes are sky-high, with Zara herself facing a gut-wrenching diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder, a turn that has left her not only fighting for her health but also for the very soul of the practice. ‘She’s the beating heart of The Mill, and her illness reflects its own decline – it’s a real symbiotic crisis.’

But there’s more intrigue! Kia Pegg, who plays Scarlett Kiernan, teases a bittersweet farewell. ‘It’s Scarlett’s birthday, so fans can expect some fun Easter eggs along the way,’ she hints, urging viewers to keep their eyes peeled.

For Chris Walker, who portrays Rob Hollins, the end of Doctors is a poignant one. ‘It was very moving and memorable,’ he says, offering a short but heartfelt glimpse into his final scenes.

Kiruna Stamell (Kirsty Millar) keeps her cards close to her chest but can’t hide her excitement: ‘I’m absolutely buzzing to watch them!’ she shares, hinting at plenty of surprises in store.

And if fans weren’t already on the edge of their seats, Ross McLaren (Luca McIntyre) assures us that Doctors will ‘go out with a bang.’ ‘I wish I could tell you more!’ he laughs, ‘but trust me, you absolutely don’t want to miss it.’

Prepare for a rollercoaster ending – this finale is set to be unmissable!

Doctors airs on BBC One at 2pm from Monday to Thursday
