Tonight in Shieldinch…Caitlin finds herself in dangerous territory after someone breaks in to the pub; when she’s not clashing with Madonna, Kelly-Marie finally opens up about the reasons she’s returned home; and Eddie takes matters into his own hands to retrieve his lost money while Joy dismisses the suggestion she’s got feelings for Tyler.
With Sam away in Edinburgh, Caitlin faces her birthday alone. Karen suggests a girls night out to celebrate and Caitlin perks up. She’s left stunned when Seb’s thoughtfulness takes her off guard but she tries to hide her true feelings for him.
Later, returning to the Tall Ship after her night with Karen, Caitlin is spooked when she senses someone is in the pub – little realising Eddie has snuck in. Frightened, Caitlin calls Seb and her vulnerability leads to unexpected passion between the pair.
Elsewhere, siblings Kelly-Marie and Madonna are at loggerheads living under the same roof again. Exasperated, Scarlett urges a truce but senses Kelly-Marie’s hiding something from the family.
She confronts her daughter about how long she plans to stick around but Kelly-Marie is evasive about her sudden return. When Scarlett assures her daughter she can stay as long as she likes, Kelly-Marie finally opens up and explains why she fled her life in Australia.
When Eddie discovers Maggie’s out of town, he spots an opportunity to retrieve his cash and breaks into the Tall Ship. When he makes a swift escape, Eddie doesn’t realise his sneaky behaviour has been clocked by a drunk Sonny.
Joy urges DCI Douglas to back off from Tyler which makes him suspicious that the police handler is developing feelings for her informant.
