This New Year’s Eve Emmerdale will feature five jaw-dropping flashforward scenes that will tempt and tease the audience with a taste of what’s to come in 2025.
Teasing these cryptic scenes, Producer, Laura Shaw, said: ‘The flash forwards will tease several storylines that will reveal a sneak peek of what’s to come across 2025. As our villagers toast the New Year, a glimpse into each of their futures will be revealed. As the fate of those depicted hangs in the balance, the only thing for certain is it’s going to be an explosive year in Emmerdale.’
But what do these flashes mean for the villagers?
Ruby is determined to start fresh with her daughter Steph, but with her abusive father Anthony lurking in the village, things are far from easy. Anthony knows about Ruby’s fling with Cain, fuelling the tension. Confiding in Chas, Ruby admits Caleb might not be Steph’s father. As she tries to take control of the situation, Ruby’s secrets begin to unravel, threatening to destroy her world.
Marlon and Rhona are facing every parent’s worst nightmare as they enter the New Year without April. Marlon blames himself, and as a shocking secret comes to light, he and Rhona struggle to stay united during this heartbreaking time.
