Daisy’s pregnancy and complicated relationships with Daniel and Kit take center stage. Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy, shares insight into her character’s struggles and schemes.
‘Finding out she’s pregnant was a huge shock for Daisy,’ Charlotte reveals. ‘She doesn’t even know who the dad is! But Daisy’s a survivor – she takes things in her stride and has handled the news surprisingly well.’
Despite the uncertainty surrounding her baby’s father, Daisy’s feelings for Daniel remain unwavering. ‘I don’t think Daisy could ever fully move on from Daniel,’ Charlotte says. ‘She’s always been in love with him and holding onto hope they’ll get back together. That’s what keeps her going.’
‘Daisy finds it ridiculous,’ Charlotte shares. ‘What hurts most is that Daniel proposed to Bethany on the same day he once proposed to Daisy – a massive ick! She’s heartbroken and feeling fragile, so she’s bound to retaliate.’
‘Daisy is definitely using Kit,’ Charlotte explains. ‘She enjoys the attention and likes making Daniel jealous. Kit is good for her ego, but she doesn’t see a future with him. They share a dark side, but that’s not a healthy connection.’
While Daisy grapples with her feelings, one thing is clear: she’s hoping Daniel is the baby’s father. ‘This could be her last chance at happily ever after with him,’ Charlotte admits. ‘She’s pushing the possibility of it being Kit’s baby to the back of her mind. But we’ll have to wait and see!’
