Kevin shows the CCTV footage of the arsonist to Nick and Shona. Shona’s horrified, but quickly covers. What has Shona seen? 

At the station, Adam puts pressure on Kit to release David, pointing out that they have no evidence to suggest he started the fire. Nick apologises to David for suspecting him of starting the fire. 

Mandy, the prison guard, collects Rob from his cell, checks he still wants to go ahead with his plan and kisses him passionately. Having taken a call from the hospital, Carla tells Lisa that Rob has had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and has been rushed to hospital. When Carla visits Rob in hospital, Mandy tells Carla that the consultant needs a word with her and as she heads off, Mandy uncuffs Rob. Will Mandy and Rob make a run for it? 

On the street, Tim, Yasmeen, Dylan, Betsy, Lisa, Liam and Maria watch as Mason’s coffin is loaded into the hearse.  Abi heads over to join them but as she glances around, she quickly leaves again. Abi describes her hallucinations to Dr Gaddas.  What will Dr Gaddas say? 

Kit interviews Leanne and goes over all the evidence which suggests she started the fire.  Leanne admits it looks bad, but assures him of her innocence.

Daniel calls at Sarah’s flat hoping to persuade Bethany not to leave. Will Daniel be able to talk Bethany round?

Craig reveals that Leanne has yet to be charged because some new evidence has come to light and they’re waiting on forensics. 

Andy slips David £2k for his part in the robbery and reveals that he’s got another far bigger job lined up if David is interested. What will David say? 

At the station, Kit reads the report from forensics and is shocked at the results. 

Sally accompanies Kevin to his appointment to get his results. When the consultant confirms Kevin’s results and that he needs an operation, he hurries out. 

Debbie lets herself in to find something burning in the oven, the smoke alarm going off and Abi suffering a flashback. 

Carla is thrown into panic when she receives an email confirming that Rob is a suitable match for the transplant and the operations will take place tomorrow. Carla visits Rob in prison and drops the bombshell. How will Rob react? 

Gemma’s amused as Lou gives Aadi a hard time over the price of a pack of night time pull-ups as Lou recognises her as one of the mums from Bessie Street. Lou calls in the pub and persuades Gemma to join her for a drink. 

Dev tells Bernie that his Aunty Gita has had a fall, he has to fly out to India and he’d like her to go with him. What will Bernie say? Dev books his flight to India and agrees to let Aadi run his businesses.

Andy talks David through the details of the robbery, but it’s clear David’s not made his mind up. 

Nick has a proposition for David, what will it be? 

When the doctor reveals that there’s been a delay with Carla’s operation, she worries Rob is going to back out. Will Rob let Carla down? 

Chesney returns home with some Valentine’s cakes for Gemma and tells her that he’s convinced he spotted the silver van again.  Gemma tells Chesney it turns out Lou and her husband Mick are moving into Mawdsley Street and she’s arranged for them to meet for a drink later. Is this the start of a new friendship for Gemma and Chesney? 

Kevin shares his test results with Jack. When planning to cook a Valentine’s meal for Kevin, Debbie finds Abi panicking and has an idea. 

When Cassie admits that she really likes Steve to Leanne, Leanne urges her to go for it. As Leanne surveys all the happy Valentine’s couples she drowns her sorrows.
