Coronation Street have issued a dramatic new promotional trailer which will have viewers fearing for the safety of fan favourites Carla Connor and Lisa Swain.
In scenes to be aired tonight (Mon 10th) Lisa realises that Carla’s brother Rob is having an affair with prison guard Mandy and that the two of them are plotting his escape whilst he waits at the hospital to donate his kidney.
Convincing Rob to go ahead with the operation, Lisa promises to try and get his conviction overturned.
But, as the trailer for next week’s episodes shows, Rob is willing to go to any lengths to escape jail and he has no qualms about who he hurts in the process.
With both Carla and Rob recovering from the kidney donation operation the stakes are high as Rob attacks a male security guard and steals his uniform, before taking Carla with him as he flees the hospital.
Lisa is hot on their heels, but has she underestimated just how far Rob will go? Is he prepared to kill again or will he pay the ultimate price for his audacious plan?
