Coronation Street fans are in for a treat as soap favourite Eva Price is set to make a sensational return after seven years away.
The Sun has revealed that Catherine Tyldesley will reprise her role, with filming beginning this summer and her comeback airing later in the year.
Eva was last seen leaving Weatherfield for France with her mum Stella, played by Michelle Collins. Now, fans are eager to see what brings her back.
Earlier this year, Catherine spoke about a possible return, telling Prima magazine: ‘Coronation Street feels like forever ago, but I always look back with such great fondness. They’ve asked me to go back a couple of times over the years, and it just so happened that I was busy with other projects. But if they approached me with an amazing storyline and the time was right, of course, I’d go back. So it’s always a case of never say never.’
