Coronation Street has dropped an explosive new trailer teasing major drama on the cobbles this March, with David Platt and Rob Donovan at the heart of the action.
Following the fallout of Max’s sentencing, David is overcome with guilt and makes the drastic decision to end his own life – by hiring a hitman to run him down. In harrowing scenes airing on Wednesday, 5th March, Shona watches in horror as David is struck by a speeding car and left for dead. But he’s not the only victim – as pregnant Daisy finds herself caught in the chaos.
Elsewhere, Rob Donovan is revealed to have survived his warehouse fall and makes an explosive return to Weatherfield. Seeking out sister Carla, he demands her help to escape, leading to an armed siege. With police surrounding the house, the situation reaches a deadly climax – as a gunshot rings out. But who has paid the ultimate price?
