Listening to the voicemail Cain left for Nate later, John panics when Nate’s phone gets another call and accidentally answers it. Eventually deciding to end the call, John throws the phone, unable to cope with his own web of lies.
Sarah reveals she’s come to the realisation that she doesn’t want a boyfriend, she wants a baby.
In the Woolpack Backroom, Chas and Liam are disheartened when PC Swirling provides an iron-clad alibi for Ella.

At the surgeon’s office, Steph is getting progressively agitated by psychological assessment for her rhinoplasty. When Steph snaps, and the surgeon asks what’s really brought her to wanting plastic surgery she spins a false story and is hugely relieved that the surgeon agrees to go ahead with the procedure tomorrow.
When John sees Cain leaving a voicemail for Nate he sees he has another fire to put out…

Trying to trace the flight number Steph gave him, Caleb becomes worried to realise it doesn’t exist. Upon going on Steph’s computer, Caleb and Ruby are horrified to find the emails from the plastic surgery clin
As the surgeon makes the final preparations for Steph’s surgery, he is interrupted by Caleb and Ruby arriving. Despite their interruption, Steph is adamant they can’t talk her out of it…. Will they manage to get through to their struggling daughter?
Vanessa tries to get Sarah to come clean.
Tracy confides in John.

Panicked Dawn arrives at the hospital to find Billy, stressed about Evan. As Billy despairs with guilt, Dawn convinces him that it wasn’t his fault, and he’s comforted by her support.
Steph goes into a full meltdown, smashing pots in the kitchen. When he finds out what’s been happening, Ross is distraught for her. As Steph explains her feelings to him, he tries to console her, but Steph snaps, insulting him. Ross withstands the torrent of abuse from Steph until she snaps out of it, riddled with guilt
John comes round to check on Tracy but is nervous to hear that Cain’s going to find Nate….
