1. Stacey won’t leave her room and Lily’s crumbling
While Stacey hides away upstairs, Lily and Freddie are trying to hold things together at the Slaters, but it’s too much for them. Lily’s secretly skipping school to keep things afloat, and when Freddie sees how much pressure she’s under, he goes to Kat. One big family meeting later, and it’s clear Stacey needs help. But when she finally emerges, she brushes everyone off… just as Lily’s hope starts to fade.
2. Zack makes a choice – and Barney’s going with him
Whitney’s found a safe place, far away from Nicola’s reach. Zack knows he needs to be there, not just for her, but for Barney too. Especially now, as the signs are clear: Barney’s not safe under Nicola and Teddy’s roof. When Vicki tries to talk him out of it, Zack stands firm. He’s going, and he’s taking Barney with him.
3. Love, guilt… and an unhappy birthday
Nigel’s feeling low on Clare’s birthday; they’re not in touch, and it hurts. Yolande gently encourages him to reach out, but things get tense between them. Meanwhile, Kathy and Harvey are sneaking in happiness where they can… until Kat sacks Harvey, and reality bites. Elsewhere, Cindy keeps scheming, but even Ian’s running out of patience.

6. One broken bond
Trying to prove she’s fine, Stacey throws a family meal – but when her coat and phone end up in the laundry bag, panic sets in. That phone holds voicemails, photos, and messages from Martin – and she’s terrified of losing them. At the laundrette, as Kat and Lily try to calm her, Alfie’s still reeling from something Arthur told him. When it all collides, tensions boil over.
