With Harry on a drip in the hospital, no one wants anything to do with Mackenzie, while John is overwhelmed with secret guilt, and cannot help snapping at Aaron. Moira is convinced the slurry spill will mean the end of the farm, Lewis and Ross meet up again and Sarah keeps her appointment at the fertility clinic a secret.

Moira buckles under the weight of painful memories when Ross explains his long-lost half-brother Lewis is outside to meet her. Mackenzie tries to make amends after his apparent mistake, Victoria is grateful to John for his support and Nicola is typically pleased with herself when she arranges an emergency water supply for the village.

John is trapped in a private nightmare when he hears that Aidan has awoken from his coma. Sarah is worried when the fertility doctor finds some inflammation, prompting her to open up to Vanessa. Moira is ready to give in at the farm, while Ross is curious to hear new sibling Lewis is growing cannabis.

Mackenzie’s treatment by Moira and other locals forces him to back out of being Aaron’s best man – so John promises to fix things. A suspicious Belle tells Sam that Nate never arrived at his new job in the Shetlands and vows to solve his disappearance. With Cain and Charity busy, Sarah is forced to attend a hospital appointment alone. Ross acquires a few cannabis plants from Lewis as the brothers continue to bond.
