When Darcy proposes extending his lease at Twenty-Two Ramsay Street long-term, Terese is left feeling uneasy. With Chelsea finding another way to get close to Paul – this time by suggesting that Thomas should have the ‘Robinson’ name – Terese admits to Susan that she’s struggling with the ups and downs of their relationship. Susan understands and verbalises Terese fear – that she needs her house on Ramsay Street as security in case things go south with Paul. Ultimately, Terese decides to offer Darcy a short-term renewal of his lease. Shrewdly realising that Chelsea is central to Terese’s decision, Darcy reveals Terese’s offer to Chelsea, who in turn informs Paul, who is taken aback. Will Chelsea succeed in driving a wedge between Paul and Terese, in the hope of getting Paul back?
Shocked but sure that Andrew is having an affair after witnessing his and Sandra’s intimate moment, Wendy breaks down to Nicolette, who comforts her. When Andrew drops by Harold’s, Wendy opts against confronting him, still coming to terms with the magnitude of his betrayal. However, when Wendy spots Sandra on her way home, she furiously confronts Sandra. Sandra reluctantly reveals that Andrew had asked her to keep their affair secret while he put plans for their future in place, leaving Wendy reeling. When Andrew returns home later that day, a tormented Wendy unleashes on him.
Susan is left frustrated and confused by Karl’s continuing tension towards Darcy. Uneasy about Darcy’s persistent attention towards Amanda, Karl asks Amanda if Darcy has ever asked her for money. Amanda is offended by the question, responding with an emphatic no. Karl is forced to backpedal, asking Amanda if they could keep their conversation private and Amanda agrees, out of consideration for Darcy’s feelings. However, after bumping into Karl leaving Amanda’s studio, Darcy manages to extract the truth from Amanda about Karl’s visit, making him realise that Karl is getting too close to exposing the truth. That evening, a drowsy Karl becomes unsteady on his feet in The Waterhole as the result of the opioids Darcy has slipped him and Darcy, who’s on hand, suggests to Susan that he help her escort Karl home. Back at the Kennedy house, Darcy ‘inadvertently’ exposes Karl’s opioid use, shocking Susan.
Tuesday
With Karl passed out in bed, Darcy takes the opportunity to feed Susan his side of the story. Feigning concern, he explains why he kept Karl’s “addiction” a secret, insisting he thought Karl was on the mend. He offers to take the heat off Susan and break the news to Terese, who is shocked that Karl has apparently been working while drug affected the whole time, very likely the reason he misdiagnosed Vera. Darcy subtly suggests they search Karl’s office for more proof and despite Susan’s reservations, Terese agrees. Meanwhile, a groggy Karl wakes up to a concerned Holly, before hurrying down to Eirini Rising. Karl rushes into his office to be met by a devastated Susan, who confronts him with the pills they’ve just found. Karl is confused but Terese is adamant – he has to stand down, effective immediately. In a quiet moment, Darcy insists he tried to talk Terese around, promising Karl he has his back. Though he’s tempted to confront Darcy, Karl holds back, privately knowing something’s not right and Darcy is somehow the architect.
Andrew is angry and disappointed that Wendy would think he’s having an affair. He’s stunned when Wendy presents the evidence, including photos of Andrew’s unmistakable tattoo on the dating app, but he quickly suspects what’s going on. Sandra’s obviously being catfished and the offender is using Andrew’s identity to do it. It sounds plausible but Wendy is still doubtful, and Nicolette doesn’t help matters when she suggests it seems like a convenient cover for Andrew to hide his guilt. Determined to clear his name, Andrew investigates some leads but comes up short. He also tries to reach out to Sandra via text, but she doesn’t respond. Frustrated, he has a run-in with Nicolette, warning her not to feed Wendy’s paranoia. But this only makes Nicolette more suspicious, and she contacts the catfisher, arranging to meet him. Andrew’s furious at her continued interference but Nicolette refuses to back down, convinced of Andrew’s guilt. Little do they realise they are being watched by an unknown presence. Has Nicolette put them all in danger?
Jane’s ongoing concern about Amanda’s cognitive decline leads Sadie to offer to test her memory at an upcoming Day Spa treatment. Jane agrees and Sadie gets to work. Although Sadie and Amanda hit it off, Amanda suddenly forgets what they were talking about. Byron is certain that Amanda needs to be tested but Jane thinks convincing her mum to agree is going to be a challenge. Feeling sentimental, Jane invites Amanda on a trip to the Dandenongs, hopeful that the family time will help her get through to Amanda.

Aaron’s holiday on Hamilton Island gets off to an unexpected start when he meets the handsome Colton. After some flirty poolside banter, Aaron makes a spontaneous decision to pretend to be someone else, calling himself Charlie. He also slips off his wedding ring, rather than having to tell the sad story of David’s passing. As the day progresses and Colton opens up about his life in Bundaberg, Aaron starts to feel guilty about lying. Arriving at a secluded beach, things become passionate, and the pair retire to Aaron’s hotel suite. After having sex, Colton discovers a photo of David and Isla in Aaron’s wallet, as well as his wedding. Feeling betrayed, he turns to Aaron for an explanation – and Aaron shamefully admits his deception.
Krista, dwelling on Aaron using her and Leo’s failed honeymoon resort for his own holiday, wants to plan a redo. With the help of Taye – who’s a bit distracted organising more dates under his Sonny Manhattan guise – Krista decks out the Piano Bar in French paraphernalia. She pops the question to Leo… shall they redo their honeymoon in Paris? Leo eagerly agrees, but one-ups her, suggesting they take some time off work, go on a tour of Europe and renew their vows in Rome. Bellissimo!
Andrew is hesitant about Nicolette’s risky plan to honey trap HotRod69, but he agrees to assist, asking Cara to help out as an extra set of eyes. Nicolette and Cara are at the centre of the sting, while Andrew and Wendy stake out from afar in their car. The embattled couple lament over what their relationship has become, with Andrew still hurt over Wendy’s lack of faith in him, despite her appeals to work through this together. HotRod69 bails on the meet-up, and Nicolette can see via the app’s location tracking that he’s miles away… proving that Andrew isn’t a cheater, much to Wendy’s remorse. Nicolette tries to take some responsibility, apologising for fueling Wendy’s insecurities. Sadie is heartbroken over this latest setback in her parents’ marriage, and while relaying the story to her friends, Holly has a theory about who the catfisher is – Archie, the classmate of JJ’s who was kicked out of the self-defence class for harassing Sandra. Andrew gets permission to pursue this suspect… but unbeknownst to them, the group is being watched from across the street by another self-defence class participant, Phil Buffett. Is he the catfisher?

Paul’s been waiting for the right moment to ask Terese about her reluctance to give Darcy a long-term lease on Number Twenty-Two. He’s hoping her reasoning is to provide back-up accommodation for Nell, but when Terese truthfully reveals she’s feeling so insecure in her relationship with Paul that she wanted to keep her property as her own personal bolt hole, Paul feels hurt. Terese apologises for upsetting him and is fully aware she needs to work on her insecurities that have stemmed from Chelsea and Thomas becoming a constant presence in their lives, so when the opportunity arises for Paul to look after Thomas overnight without Chelsea around, everyone agrees it’s a good opportunity for Terese and Thomas to bond.
When Dex spies Taye with several unfamiliar women, as well as seeing money exchanging hands, he correctly assumes it’s got something to do with Taye’s side hustle, but what exactly is it? Relieved that Dex’s innocent mind hasn’t leapt to the obvious conclusion, Taye claims he’s a personal shopper, helping women to revamp their wardrobes. But Taye’s lie backfires when Dex presents him with a new client, Vera Punt, who’s keen to hit the shopping mall and purchase some sexy attire.
Chelsea makes good on her promise to leave Thomas with Paul overnight, secretly hoping this will cause more friction between Paul and Terese. Chelsea also attempts to make Paul jealous by claiming she has a date for the evening and deliberately dresses in a provocative manner when she drops Thomas off at the Penthouse. In truth, Chelsea has a meeting with Jeffrey (the real father of Thomas) who’s keen to collect his blackmail money. Getting wind of their meeting, Paul is confused and angry. He also makes it clear that he doesn’t want Thomas to have anything to do with a conniving man like Jeffrey.
