Aaron tries and fails to poke holes in Nicolette’s theory that Rhett and Colton have hooked up. Convinced it is so, Aaron confronts his beaus only to find there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for everything. Rhett and Colton are livid with Aaron. Aaron scolds Nicolette for getting in his head and giving him dodgy intel. He apologises to Rhett and Colton, but they’re both disappointed by his hypocrisy; he’s not exclusive with them, so they don’t owe him their exclusivity in return. Aside from this issue of the double standard, Aaron’s antics have taken an emotional toll on Rhett and Colton. He’s hurt them, and Aaron can only wear his mistake on the chin. The irony is, this whole mess has brought Rhett and Colton together – so much so, they start hanging out without Aaron. Maybe he’s pushed his two love interests towards each other.

Susan has major doubts about Karl leaving Eirini and does her best to talk him down, but Karl insists it’s time for him to move on. Loathe to leave Terese in the lurch, Karl begins scoping out a potential successor and pitches Remi on the idea. She declines, but Susan comes to her with another proposal. Susan hopes if Remi shows a little interest in the job, it’ll buy more time for Karl to think about the choice and come to his senses. Though uneasy about deceiving Karl, Remi agrees to give it a go as she believes, like Susan, that Karl’s making this choice for the wrong reasons and should take some time. Remi and Susan set this plan in motion and Karl is delighted by Remi apparently reconsidering. But getting Karl’s hopes up is a dangerous game…

Terese is still on the fence about whether to go to Rome. As tempted as she is by the prospect of having a break, she can’t leave Eirini Rising while the Darcy fallout continues to cast a shadow. Colton believes the solution to easing the resident’s nerves is to bring joy back to Eirini, and he’s planned just the activity for it – nude yoga. It’s a roll of the dice, but it pays off beautifully when even the toughest critics (Gino and Vera) give rave reviews. Terese is so impressed with how well Colton can read the residents needs. It gives her the peace of mind she needs to book that flight. Terese is Rome-bound.
