Dex catches Saskia trashing the Kennedys’ backyard. Later, Karl and Susan catch Dex trying to fix Saskia’s mess. Max assures Karl he’s looking out for Holly while she’s still anxious about Bowman. Karl asks Dex whether he has anything to share about Saskia and Dex almost comes clean, but instead decides to find Saskia and get to the bottom of things himself. Dex realises he’s out of his depth when he finds Saskia trashing Susan’s office, unrepentant about the chaos she’s caused, including locking Wendy in the cupboard. Out of options, Dex comes clean to Max about Saskia’s behaviour. With this, the truth comes out to everyone about Saskia. Behind Saskia’s back, Max calls their mum, Yvette, needing backup.
Annalise’s bid with the Council falls flat and tensions remain between she and Krista. A supportive Wendy sparks an idea in Krista. Based on this, Krista goes to Council, and she’s thrilled to reveal to Paul and Annalise that the council has approved her plan for the Jewellery Exhibition. Annalise is annoyed. What happened to staying in their lanes? Terese tells Paul off for pitting Krista and Annalise against each other, suspecting there’s more at play than he’s told her. Paul reveals his true motives: he’s eying Annalise for a manager role at Lassiters, so he can spend more time in New York. Terese is shocked, needing time to get her head around the news.
Remi returns home, clearly overwhelmed. JJ and Remi share a memory about a trip to the beach. Cara sadly adds that she was there too. Remi can’t remember her being there. Cara disciplines JJ, and Remi lashes out at Cara – don’t talk to my son like that. Cara and Remi talk through Remi’s outburst. Both want the other to be more empathetic. Remi’s convinced she’s right, but when she overhears Cara reassuring the boys about their family situation, she realises how much they rely on Cara, and this situation isn’t working. Remi tells the boys and Cara that she’s decided to move into the Kennedys’ for the time being.
