It was the episode Vanity fans had waited a long time for with Charity (Emma Atkins) and Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) sharing a kiss.
The episode saw Charity call on Vanessa for support after dealing with the knowledge she has likely lost the baby that she is carrying for granddaughter Sarah (Katie Hill).
An increasingly drunk Charity shared with Vanessa that she was a fool to give her up for Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb).
Vanessa offered to let Charity stay the night but was taken aback when Charity made a move leaning in for a kiss – Vanessa responded and it looked as if their old spark was still burning bright.
