Anthony Trueman arrives in Walford early to surprise Patrick ahead of his and Yolande’s wedding but soon discovers his father has been injured in an attack.
No longer able to cope with his guilt, Oscar goes to Patrick and confesses to attacking him. The resulting chaos leaves Patrick suffering a panic attack and the Trueman-Fox family rush in.
However, Accusations and recriminations fly. Lauren has questions to answer as Peter realises she’s been covering for Oscar. As Anthony demands they report Oscar, Jack insists this must be Patrick’s decision.
Later, Lauren tells Howie to sort the situation with Oscar, or she’ll reveal all, but Anthony continues to thwart his efforts to talk Patrick round. Meanwhile, at the police station, Oscar is convinced he’s going back to prison.
Yolande, worried about Patrick, agrees a truce with Howie. However, Yolande is heartbroken when Patrick breaks the news that he wants to postpone the wedding.
