April’s guilt spirals as she juggles her double life to hide her drug dealing from Rhona. When Dylan catches her selling drugs outside university halls, he’s shocked. Desperate to protect April, Dylan begs Ray to let her quit, but Ray manipulates him with emotional blackmail before promising to face the “big bosses” himself. Dylan agrees to let April keep dealing. At least this way they pay their debts off quicker.
April’s double life crumbles when whilst babysitting Leo, she abandons Leo to meet Ray’s demands, accidentally dropping pills from her bag as she leave the house. Her worst nightmare unfolds when she returns home to find Leo being loaded into an ambulance.
At the hospital, with police and social services having been contacted, Rhona suspects April immediately. Just as April considers confessing, she spots police officers and flees in panic.
Meanwhile, Ray’s empire threatens to collapse when he overhears April telling Dylan she’s ready to tell the truth….
