Having found out John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was responsible for Nate’s death and countless other crimes, you’d forgive Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) for being understandably pissed and wanting to get even. This opportunity was robbed from him when Caleb Miligan (William Ash) aided his escape.
Next week sees Moira continue to struggle with Cain absent. However, when he returns from France, after attempting to track down John, he is seemingly committed to a self-destructive path of booze and remains evasive when Moira asks about John.
With it being a year since Zak’s passing, Sam and Belle wonder if he’ll show up for their dad’s anniversary. The pair are later disappointed when a visit to Zak’s grave turns into a no-show from Cain.
As they comfort each other and talk about Zak, they are ultimately united in their concern for their brother.
