Filmed entirely on location in Liverpool city centre and Merseyside, Hollyoaks Later explores teenagers Dillon (Nathaniel Dass), Lucas (Oscar Curtis), Vicky (Anya Lawrence) and Frankie (Isabelle Smith), trying to navigate their lives and friendships amidst the confusing aftermath of child exploitation.
Framed by the intoxicating but looming cityscape, the youngsters try to blot out the events of the last year with mixed success. Newcomer and Brookside resident, Esme Dixon (Jacqui Dixon’s daughter, played by Yasmin Davies) brings escapism for Frankie Osborne.
But gangland forces Sully and Griff, are a danger to Hollyoaks’ undercover police officers and the wider communities.
Buried secrets threaten the stability of crucial family ties.
