Tomorrow’s visit to Emmerdale (Friday, 17 October) will see April (Amelia Flanagan) and Dawn (Olivia Bromley) dealing with troubled situations.

The episode teased ‘unmissable’ by Emmerdale will see the two characters navigate harrowing challenges that will leave a lasting impact.

April’s mounting debt to Ray (Joe Absolom) leaves her in a perilous situation as the teen is forced into increasingly dangerous tasks, leading to a terrifying encounter.

Expect dark scenes as April is left in a desperate struggle for survival.

Elsewhere, Dawn who has suffered a traumatic past, opens up to Joe, drawing poignant parallels to April’s current predicament. She bravely recounts her past experiences and highlights her unwavering commitment to protecting her daughter, Clemmie (Mabel Addison).

Olivia spoke about the episode saying: ‘This episode is really important because Dawn didn’t have a stable family or home life, but April has such a wonderful family, and yet she’s still managed to go down this path.’

‘Dawn explains to Joe in this episode, and you can really see how she got herself into such a difficult situation for so many years. For April, the world really is her oyster.’

As April grapples with the aftermath of her ordeal, Dawn’s own history serves as a stark reminder of the cycles of vulnerability and the fight for a better future.

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm
