BECKY PLAYS THE HERO Becky shows Lisa a flash drive and assures her that Betsy is going to be fine. A fired up Lisa calls at the station and reveals she has CCTV evidence proving it wasn’t Betsy who damaged the police car. Lisa rails at Costello for Betsy’s wrongful arrest. Costello admits Becky wanted to contact Lisa many times but it was too risky. With Betsy released, Becky takes a call from Costello who confirms that he’s done his bit by letting Lisa think it’s his fault she stayed away and now it’s up to her to keep her side of the bargain and he wants her gone within a month. Roy arrives at the flat to find Lisa and Becky snuggled up on the sofa. How much has he seen? 

DEV CAN’T DO RIGHT FOR WRONG When Kit lets slip that he’s read Naomi’s file and she’s got a history of aggressive behaviour, Bernie and Gemma agree that she needs to be taught a lesson. As Dev fusses over Asha she tells him to leave her alone. In the pub, Dev breaks down as he admits to Glenda that much as he wants to help Asha, he feels out of his depth.  

THEO’S BUSINESS RELATIONS SOUR Theo arrives at the yard for the meeting with Pete.  Pete flirts with Theo and suggests they should hook up again, but Theo makes it clear he’s not interested. When Pete calls him a drama queen, Theo flies into a rage. 

ELSEWHERE Having tried on her Halloween, Bethany tells Sarah she’s sending it back. Sarah suspects her decision is to do with her stoma. In the salon, Bethany gives Hope a manicure but when she posts a picture of them on her socials she’s hit with another stream of vile messages. Christina’s worried George is working too hard. When he falls asleep at his desk, she answers the phone and explains that George is too busy to take on any more work at the moment.
