Pressure from all sides in Emmerdale next week as Kevin wants a vow renewal and Charity’s secret comes under threat.

Charity is unnerved her scan might reveal the baby isn’t the implanted embryo. Chas exacerbates her worries, and returning home to Jacob and Sarah discussing babies resembling fathers, she snaps at them before apologising.

The next day, Chas is suspicious and Sarah’s gutted when Charity blurts out that today’s scan appointment has been cancelled. In the backroom, Chas confronts Charity who confesses her paranoia that the scan might end up revealing the foetus isn’t the one that was implanted. As she waits with Chas at the Hospital, Charity’s still terrified that the scan will uncover the truth.

There’s relief for Charity and Chas when the Sonographer fails to detect anything untoward during the scan appointment.

However Charity is caught out when Chas spots her staring fondly at the baby on the screen. Afterwards, it seems like Charity has gotten away with her lie about the scan appointment, until Jacob spots her from the end of a corridor.

Will Charity be able to cover?
