AN OLD FACE GREETS THE NEW YEAR Following his panic attack, Adam assures Sarah that he’s feeling much better. Sarah suggests they meet for a drink and a hopeful Adam thinks that this could be a new start for them. In the pub, Sarah googles panic attacks and promises Adam that they’re going to tackle his anxiety together. Outside, as Adam and Sarah part company, neither of them notices Damon watching them from across the street. As Adam heads for his office, a man follows him in a van. Adam’s horrified to find himself tied up in the back of the van, will he be able to escape this?

DAISY GETS BETWEEN DANIEL AND BETHANY Daisy tells Jenny about her humiliation at finding Daniel already seems to be turning his attention to his old flame Bethany. When Jenny reveals that Waterford’s have given them permission to move back into the pub full-time while the sale goes through, Daisy perks up.

BETHANY REUNITES WITH THE PLATTS Bethany calls at Sarah’s flat who is thrilled to see her daughter. At No.8. a delighted Gail suggests they celebrate with a family lunch at Speed Daal. Across the street, Daisy clocks Bethany and points her out to Jenny. When Jenny reveals that Daniel slept with Bethany last night, Gail, David and Sarah are stunned.

ELSEWHERE Shona finally persuades Lauren to return to work at the café. In the flower shop flat, a suspicious Billy and Paul can tell Summer is up to something as she frantically types a message and announces that she’s popping out for a couple of hours. Ed admits to Dee-Dee that he’ll be sad to lose the builder’s yard but clearing his debts is top priority and he’s going to his gambling support group later. When Dee-Dee calls at No.3 and suggests it’s time Ed moved back home, Michael refuses to entertain the idea and Sarge realises something needs to be done.

Wednesday 3rd January

DAMON TRIES TO PROVE HIMSELF TO SARAH Seeing a carefree Damon stroll into the bistro, Adam gets on the phone to tip off the police. Nick and Leanne arrive to find Damon waiting for them to ask for the money he gave Harvey to invest in the Bistro as Craig arrives to question Damon about Adam’s kidnap. When Adam barges into the factory to inform Sarah about Damon’s and his kidnap, Sarah has no time to reply as Craig enters. Sarah tells Adam that she was with Damon yesterday afternoon and is his alibi. Damon offers Ed a job renovating a bar and realising who he is, Bethany calls him a homewrecker, but Damon’s distracted by a phone call and hurries out. In a prison visiting room, Damon faces his brother Harvey. What does Harvey want from his brother?

PAUL SWAPS FOUR WHEELS FOR TWO Paul is thrilled as Summer reveals her big surprise is her uni lecturer has offered to take Paul for a spin in his motorbike’s sidecar later. Summer’s tutor, Dewey, turns up with a motorbike but no sidecar. As Summer and Billy strain to lift Paul onto the pillion instead, dangling helplessly, a humiliated Paul orders them to put him down. In a bid to lift Paul’s spirits after the motorbike debacle, Billy suggests a holiday.

CASSIE MAKES SURE ABI’S NOT UP TO SCRATCH When Kevin confirms to Abi that the scratched Porsche is booked in at the bodyshop next week, Cassie forms a plan. When the Porsche’s owner arrives to collect his car, Cassie makes out she rang him by mistake. He’s unimpressed to spot the damage to the paintwork and threatens to sue. Kevin and Abi are horrified as Cassie promises it will be good as new by tomorrow. Cassie’s pleased when a stressed Kevin blames Abi for the scratched car fiasco.

ELSEWHERE Daisy’s miffed when Jenny firmly vetoes her special offer ideas to boost custom at the pub. When Bethany calls into the Rovers and sneeringly remarks on how empty it is, Daisy defiantly writes out a sign offering a free drink with every hotpot purchased. Tyrone informs Evelyn and Roy that Terry has been charged and has a hearing tomorrow who hopes that he pleads guilty.

Friday 5th January

PAUL’S ILLNESS CATCHES UP WITH HIM Paul’s voice talker apparatus is delivered and he nervously uses the app to play some of his pre-recorded phrases. When Billy reveals the cost of travel insurance is extortionate due to Paul’s condition, Paul insists they forget about the holiday. In the Rovers, Gemma and David learn of Paul’s aborted holiday and decide to cheer him up with some jugs of sangria. After a fun afternoon, David helps a drunk Paul back to the flat but Paul sends him home as Moses is due any minute. With no sign of Moses and bursting for a wee, Paul drags himself to his wheelchair but crashes to the floor.

CASSIE’S PROMOTION CAUSES A COMMOTION Roy declares to Cassie he cannot let Abi take the blame for damaging the car. Cassie reluctantly agrees to come clean but as she prepares to confess to Kevin, the words die in her mouth when he offers her a permanent position at the garage. The Porsche’s owner collects his car from the garage but refuses to pay his bill. Kevin takes out his anger on Abi, blaming her again for the scratch. Will Cassie come clean?

DEE-DEE WORRIES AS ED DOES A DEAL WITH DAMON Revealing he’s getting his money out of the bistro, Damon tells Ed he can pay him to do the bar renovation before the builder’s yard is sold. Dee-Dee’s alarmed to discover that Ed’s struck a deal with Damon, and urges her dad to stay well away.

ELSEWHERE Over a birthday drink in the bistro, Daniel tells Ken that he and Bethany are getting on well. Tyrone senses Evelyn’s fears as she refuses to accompany him to Terry’s hearing, claiming she has more important things to do. Evelyn hears from Tyrone that Terry pleaded guilty and will be sentenced later.

Tuesday 9th January

PAUL PUTS HIS PLAN INTO ACTION Paul asks Todd to help him end his life when the time comes. As Todd refuses, Paul accepts it’s too much to ask but explains he’s terrified of becoming a hostage inside his own body. A sympathetic Todd takes Paul to the surgery where Paul makes out he’s in great pain and needs morphine but to Todd’s relief, Dr Gaddas refuses to prescribe it. In the Rovers, Abi overhears Paul complaining to Todd that he couldn’t get a prescription for morphine and empathises. Back at the flat, Todd’s surprised when Abi arrives at Paul’s invitation, but all becomes clear when Paul asks Abi to score him some drugs. Will Abi help Paul?

CASSIE CATCHES ABI RED-HANDED At the garage, Cassie offers Kevin her heartfelt thanks for giving her a second chance. Citing her forgiveness of Cassie, Kevin praises Abi’s ability to do right by others, regardless of her own feelings. Conflicted, Abi makes out she’s been called on a breakdown and hurries off as Cassie watches with interest. Abi meets Dean and buys some benzos, unaware of someone photographing the exchange.

EVELYN HAS A NEW LEAD ON CHUCK Evelyn scours the internet for evidence of Terry running a puppy farm. In the precinct, Evelyn spots Terry exiting the pound shop with a tray of puppy food and decides to follow him. Terry catches Evelyn tailing him and threatens her with violence.

ROMANCE IS IN THE AIR ON ASHA AND AADI’S BIRTHDAY Dev announces to Asha his plans for a special birthday meal for her and Aadi. Asha hasn’t the heart to tell him she’d rather do something else. Asha persuades Aadi to attend Dev’s birthday lunch and Aadi suggests an after-party at his flat. Aadi invites Amy to the birthday lunch and Asha and Nina urge Aadi to declare his feelings for her.

ELSEWHERE Damon hands Ed an envelope of cash to buy supplies for the bar renovation, oblivious to the temptation he’s placing in his path. Dee-Dee informs Damon that her dad’s a gambling addict and cannot be subjected to any undue stress while working for him.

Thinking of Damon’s wad of cash, Damon panics. Will Ed give in to temptation?

Wednesday 10th January

CASSIE’S ALL BARK WITH PLENTY OF BITE Evelyn and Cassie show Roy a puppy for sale online, reckoning Terry’s the unseen person holding it in the photo. Roy calls to make an inquiry and gets through to a woman called Joan who gives Roy her address in the precinct. Cassie calls on pretending she has bought a large delivery of dog food and Joan sends her away after Cassie divulged Terry’s address. Deciding to pay Terry a visit, Cassie climbs in through the downstairs window of a house into a room full of crates of puppies and a bag of cash nearby. As Terry enters with a baseball bat, he’s distracted by a noise outside. Cassie stuffs the cash into her pockets and is gathering up the puppies to make her escape when Terry enters the room and surveys the open cages. Will Cassie manage to rescue the puppies and get away from Terry? Craig calls at the cafe with news that Terry’s been seriously assaulted after Evelyn was seen arguing with him outside his house. A guilty Cassie watches as Evelyn is getting into Craig’s police car.

ASHA ACCUSES NINA As the Alahan twins plan their birthday bash, Asha’s curious to receive a call from university. Asha tells Amy someone reported Isla for having an inappropriate interest in her and she’s got a fair idea of who it was. Asha accuses Nina of reporting Isla out of jealousy. Were Asha’s suspicions of Nina right? Aadi finds a simmering Nina in Victoria Gardens and they swap accounts of their rows with Amy and Asha. When Aadi compliments Nina, they suddenly lean in for a kiss.

BILLY SENSES A SPARK BETWEEN TODD AND MOSES Billy promises Paul he hasn’t changed his mind but is unhappy about deceiving Bernie and Gemma. Changing the subject for Summer’s benefit, they decide to matchmake Todd and Moses. Billy, Paul and Summer have Todd over for dinner. When Moses arrives on his final visit of the day, Paul invites him to join them.

ELSEWHERE When Damon finally answers Harvey’s non-stop calls, he threatens to kill Harvey but kicks himself upon realising Sarah’s overheard. In the cafe, Bobby meets Amy and asks Aadi if she’s single. When Aadi tells Bobby she’s off the market, Amy flies off the handle saying she’ll be giving his birthday a miss. Has Aadi ruined his chance with Amy?

Friday 12th January

AADI’S ADMISSION HAS DEADLY CONSEQUENCES Aadi calls at No.7 to grab a quiet word with Nina and they both agree to never mention their kiss again. Whilst Dev serves their birthday lunch, Asha unwraps her present from Aadi and is shocked to find a beautiful bracelet. Noting a guilty look, Asha demands Aadi explain himself where Aadi and Nina are forced to admit they shared a kiss. Later, Asha lets herself into Aadi’s flat to find him dozing on the sofa, hurls the bracelet at him and asserts that she never wants to see him again and storms out. Unbeknown to Asha, Aadi lies unconscious in his flat with the broken carbon monoxide alarm on the side. Will they realise before it’s too late?

HOPE DISCOVERS CASSIE’S CASH Craig calls at the café and assures Evelyn that she’s no longer under suspicion. Cassie hides her unease as Craig informs them that they’re still looking for Terry’s attacker and that same person stole a large amount of cash. At No.9, Hope catches Cassie with a bag full of cash who offers her a slice of the money if in return she keeps her gob shut. Will Hope keep Cassie’s secret?

ED PUTS IN A GOOD WORD FOR DAMON In the café, Ed does his best to persuade Sarah that Damon’s a changed man and is trying to turn his life around. Sarah approaches Damon and after admitting that she may have been quick to judge, suggests they meet for a drink later. As a thrilled Damon heads down the street, he’s horrified to discover that his car has been crushed.

ELSEWHERE Caitlin, the social worker, calls at No.5 and assures a frustrated Gemma and Chesney that things are moving in the right direction, but reports of this nature take time. Carla’s deeply unimpressed when she has to cut short a call with an important client because Bobby’s been causing mayhem by distracting the machinists from their work.

Monday 15th January

ADAM IS USURPED BY DAMON Having spent the night together and clearly loved up, Sarah invites Damon to join her family for a drink later. Damon agrees, but asserts that he must pay Harvey a visit first. As Sarah and Damon head out of Redbank, Adam watches, consumed with rage. Damon visits Harvey in prison and makes it clear that if he pulls any more stunts, he’s dead meat. Harvey makes a threat regarding Sarah causing Damon loses his temper. As the guards drag him away, Dee-Dee has clocked their exchange from across the room. Damon joins Sarah and her family in the bistro and Audrey, Gail and Nick make their disapproval evident. Adam storms over telling Sarah he knows about Damon’s prison visit and doesn’t want him anywhere near Harry. After being reminded Harry isn’t even his son, Adam’s cut. Adam calls the prison and makes an appointment to visit Harvey. Will Adam make a deal with the devil?

GEMMA’S FEARS GET THE BETTER OF HER At No.5, Joseph complains of a temperature. Gemma’s concerned, but Chesney’s adamant he’s fine. Gemma shares her concerns about Joseph with Paul and pointing out she could jeopardise her situation with social services, advises her to keep quiet. In the café, Gemma shares her concerns with Dr Gaddas as a furious Chesney overhears. At No.5, Gemma, Chesney and Paul lark about with the kids, but the mood is broken by the arrival of Granny Linda.

AADI REALISES ASHA LET HIM DOWN In the hospital, Dev tells Aadi that there’s no way he’ll allow him to return to his flat and he’s coming home with them. When Asha reveals that she and Nina have broken up and Nina’s moved out, Aadi feels terrible. Asha helps Aadi pack up his flat and when Aadi finds the bracelet on the floor, a guilt-ridden Asha is forced to admit that she called round when he was sparked out on the sofa.

CAN CASSIE BE THE GRANDMA TYRONE WANTS HER TO BE? Cassie calls in the shop and tells Evelyn that she’s donated Terry’s money to a dog charity and that she only attacked him to stop him from hurting the dogs. In the shop, Tyrone tells Evelyn that Fiz is attending a course in Italy and has invited him to go with her, but he wouldn’t dare to leave the girls with Cassie for a fortnight. Roy assures Nina that she’s welcome to move back into her old bedroom and he’ll have a word with Evelyn.

ELSEWHERE David is impressed as Max practises his hairdressing skills on Lauren. Max invites Lauren for tea, but when Sabrina suggests she brings her boyfriend along too, Lauren’s smile fades.

Wednesday 17th January

GEMMA PUTS HER WORRIES ON ICE Linda hands Chesney a business card for a family solicitor but Chesney refuses to discuss it. When Joseph gags on his milk, Chesney realises that the fridge is broken and all the food has gone off. Chesney emerges from No.5 with a sickly looking Joseph and assures Gemma that it’s just an upset tummy as Dr Gaddas listens to their exchange with interest. At No.5, Gemma finds the solicitor’s business card and accuses Chesney of plotting to take her kids off her but Chesney assures her he’d never do that. When Linda reveals it was her idea as she doesn’t think she’s safe to be around her own children, Gemma storms out. Chesney receives a call from school telling him Joseph is poorly. At No.5, Chesney and Linda fuss over Joseph but as he stands his legs give way and he collapses on the sofa, barely conscious. Panic-stricken, Chesney orders Linda to call an ambulance. The doctor approaches and explains that after talking to Dr Gaddas, they suspect Joseph has Lyme disease which he contracted whilst camping.

ADAM RESISTS GETTING HIS HANDS DIRTY Adam visits Harvey in prison and makes out that he’s looked over his files and he’s got a watertight case for an appeal. Harvey warns Adam that if he lets him down, the hitman who’s going to deal with Damon will deal with him too. SCHOOL’S OUT FOR LIAM Gary and Maria see Liam off to school, but as soon as their backs are turned, he legs it back to the flat. Liam accesses the school website and reports himself absent due to illness. In the café, Maria tells Gary that the school phoned and inform that they haven’t seen Liam for a week.

MAX AND SABRINA ARE SUSPICIOUS OF LAUREN In the café, Sabrina quizzes Lauren about her boyfriend. When Sabrina suggests they should all meet up, Lauren’s unease is evident and Sabrina tells Max it’s obvious she’s lying. Max tentatively asks Lauren why she always clams up whenever they mention her boyfriend. Lauren fights back tears and orders Max out of the café.

ELSEWHERE Cassie applies nail extensions to Ruby’s nails and gives her crisps for breakfast. Having taken a call from the school, Evelyn tears a strip off Cassie and tells her she’s nothing but a hindrance when it comes to the girls. In the café, Sabrina quizzes Lauren about her boyfriend.

Friday 19th January

LIAM RAISES THE ALARM ON MASON When Liam tries to throw a sickie, Maria insists he must go to school. Maria sees Liam onto the bus but is bemused when Dylan gets on and completely blanks Liam. As the bus pulls away, Maria realises Liam has left his phone and catches up with him at the school gate. Liam is mortified to be seen with his mum at school, and unbeknown to them, Mason is filming them. Mason informs Dylan that Liam’s a grass and is going to make him pay. Mason snatches Liam’s phone off him and makes him beg for it back but then refuses to hand it over while the other kids laugh. Liam hurries away, utterly humiliated. As Liam heads for the school exit, Mason grabs him and pins him against a wall. In desperation, Liam sets off the fire alarm.

GEMMA’S RETURN HOME IS DELAYED BY JOSEPH The doctor confirms that Joseph has Lyme disease but should make a full recovery. Joseph wakes to find Chesney and Gemma at his bedside. An elated Gemma tells Chesney and Joseph that social services have confirmed she can move back home but Chesney’s shocked when Joseph announces that he wants to live with Gemma and not him because she’s the only one who believed he was ill.

LAUREN IS SINGLE AND READY TO MINGLE Max and Sabrina invite Lauren to join them for lunch in the bistro with Gav. Lauren reveals that she’s dumped her boyfriend. Max watches on with interest as Daniel chats to Lauren on the street and sensing there’s something bothering her, puts a comforting hand on her shoulder. Lauren arrives in the bistro dressed to the nines.

ELSEWHERE Damon apologises to Adam for the mix up over Harry’s tea and Adam assures him it’s forgotten, but his contempt for Damon is evident. Adam meets up with Harvey’s sidekick, hands over a wad of cash and instructs him to scare Damon off. As the thug pockets the cash and walks away, Adam suffers a panic attack. Having been released from prison, Bernie calls at the Rovers to find Dev, Paul and Billy have thrown her a surprise party.

Monday 22nd January

LIAM PREPARES TO FIGHT In the school corridor, Dylan asks Mason if he plans to return Liam’s phone but Mason laughs and tells Dylan that if Liam turns up for their meeting, he’s a dead man. After overhearing the conversation, Liam stares Mason out and promises he’ll be there. Dylan warns Liam not to meet Mason, but Liam’s adamant that it’s time he stood up to him. As Liam approaches Mason and his mates, he overhears Dylan referring to him as a loser. Goaded by Mason, Liam rams Dylan up against a wall and as Mrs Crawshaw appears, Dylan falls to the ground.

BERNIE CLOSES IN ON PAUL’S HIDDEN STASH Bernie calls at the flower shop flat and orders Moses to enjoy some time off while she looks after Paul. Bernie sets about cleaning the flat for Paul but when she opens the cupboard concealing his stash of Benzo tablets, Paul pales. Will Bernie find the tablets?

CHESNEY’S ON A MISSION TO MAKE AMENDS Chesney apologises to Gemma again but pointing out that Joseph should be his priority, Gemma urges Chesney to talk to him. Chesney visits Joseph and assures him that he loves him and will always believe him in future. Joseph forgives his Dad and they share an emotional hug.

ELSEWHERE In the corner shop flat, Dee-Dee puts pressure on Ed to start tackling his debts.

When Gary reveals that Liam is being bullied at school and Dylan is ignoring him, Sean scoffs, but George silences him with a look. In the factory, Bobby enjoys winding Simon up but Carla orders them back to work. Carla tells Simon and Bobby that she wants them to meet in the bistro for some team bonding and the first round is on her.

Tuesday 23rd January

BERNIE’S ROAD TRIP GOES OFF COURSE Bernie is thrilled as Paul and Gemma reluctantly agree to a night in the dilapidated motorhome. Paul and Gemma suspect Bernie is lost as she stops in a layby and pulls out a road atlas and share worried looks between them as they discover there’s no phone signal. Billy tries in vain to call Paul, worried where he might have got to. Bernie stops the motorhome in the middle of a field and admits she’s no idea of the way to the campsite. She starts the engine, only to discover they’re stuck in the mud. Alone in the flat and unable to get hold of Paul, Billy looks in the kitchen cupboard and is horrified to discover the Benzo tablets missing. Paul’s phone finally leaps into life and Gemma answers to hear Billy begging Paul not to take the drugs as it’s too soon. Will Paul come clean to Bernie and Gemma about his end of life plan?

ED’S DEBTS CATCH UP WITH HIM Dee-Dee tells Ed that it’s time he moved back home, but when Dee-Dee urges Michael to bury the hatchet with Ed and allow him to move back home, he declares if Ed moves back in he’ll move out. As Dee-Dee pleads Ed’s case to Michael, they’re interrupted by a loud knocking at the door. Dee-Dee and Michael are shocked to find two bailiffs on the doorstep.

LIAM FACES THE MUSIC Making it clear to Gary that he’s done enough damage, Maria sets off to the police station with Liam. Sean rails at Gary and tells him he’s glad he reported Liam to the police as bullies need to be punished. In the police station, Maria assures Liam that everything will be fine if he tells the truth.

TRACY’S UNDERWHELMED BY STEVE’S BIRTHDAY EFFORTS Tracy unwraps her birthday present from Steve and is underwhelmed to discover a cherry stone pillow. Chucking it back at him, Tracy tells Steve she wants their bedroom redecorating and he can start today. When Tracy moans to Mary about lazy Steve and how she doubts he’ll ever get round to the decorating, Mary suggests she should hire a professional.

ELSEWHERE In the factory, Max agrees to update the website for Carla. Spotting Simon, Max heads over and warns him to stay away from Sabrina as she’s already spoken for. Bobby takes Lauren for a drink in the Rovers and tells Carla and Simon that while she says she only wants to be mates, that’ll soon change.

Wednesday 24th January

ED’S HOPE OF SELLING THE YARD GOES UP IN FLAMES Ed tells Dee-Dee that his mate, Marcus, has offered him a bed at his house so he will move out today and is hoping that Gary will put in an offer for the yard. In the Bistro, Gary explains to Ed that he won’t be buying the yard. As Dee-Dee helps Ed pack up his things and admits Adam will be glad of the space, Marcus calls Ed and tells him the spare room is no longer available but Ed covers. Ronnie tells Michael that Marcus has informed him Ed is now homeless as Leanne approaches and reveals that Ed seemed quite desperate after a fruitless meeting with Gary. Michael’s horrified to see smoke billowing from the builder’s yard and as he races up the stairs, there’s no sign of Ed. As Michael turns to leave, he realises the fire has spread and the stairs are engulfed in flames. Will Michael be rescued in time?

SIMON PUSHES HIS LUCK TOO FAR WITH CARLA In the Rovers, Simon admits to Bobby he threw a sickie, went on an all day bender with his mates and now he’s got the hangover from hell. When Simon returns late to work, Beth points out that nobody else would get away with it. When Kirk sprains his ankle, Carla orders Simon to take the Underworld van and make the delivery but Simon refuses. Will Simon’s special treatment end?

BERNIE GETS THE WRONG END OF THE STICK Bernie calls at the flower shop flat to find Billy prostrate on the sofa after putting his back out helping Paul out of the bath due to Moses running late. On the street, a stressed Moses explains to Todd how overworked he is, and as Todd offers him a comforting hug, an angry Bernie watches from a distance. Moses receives a call from his boss telling him he’s now been suspended. How will Paul react to this?

TRACY’S DECORATOR IS IN ANOTHER LEAGUE Tracy shows Tommy Orpington, the decorator, into No.1 where Tommy reveals that he’s a retired footballer. Steve returns home and is stunned to find his hero in the living room. Tracy reminds Steve that they’ve hired Tommy to do the decorating and he’s not to distract him.
ELSEWHERE Convinced that Liam is covering for someone, Maria shares her suspicions with Gary.

Monday 29th January

MICHAEL BURNS ED WITH HIS WORDS At No.3, Craig arrives to take Ed in for questioning. When Michael asks Ed if he started the fire himself, he vehemently denies it but is Michael convinced? Ed admits to DS Swain that he knocked over some white spirit by accident but he certainly didn’t start the fire. When Ed and Dee-Dee return home, Michael accuses Ed of burning down the yard so he could claim the insurance. Ed is devastated by his son’s hatred for him.

TOMMY TICKLES TRACY’S FANCY Steve is torn between spending time with Tommy Orpington and his daughter when Emma phones and invites him to spend the week in France. As Steve leaves for France in his taxi, he watches with envy as Tommy pulls up in his van outside No.1. Kevin, Tim and Kirk head over and fawn over Tommy hoping to drag him into the pub but Tracy sends them packing. It’s clear there’s a spark between them.

SIMON IS RUDDERLESS WITHOUT HIS JOB Simon wakes up with a hangover and realises that he spilt his beer over Nick’s paperwork and quickly hides the evidence. As Nick searches for his papers, Simon makes out he hasn’t seen them and offers to print them off for him. Mary suggests to Tracy that she should do some matchmaking as it’s clear Toyah fancies Tommy. Tracy has other plans as she warns Toyah off claiming that Tommy’s a terrible womaniser and not to be trusted. Back at No.1, Tommy admits he fancies Tracy. Does Tracy feel the same?

BETHANY LOOKS FOR A LIFELINE FROM SUKI When Daniel reminds Bethany it’s her turn to treat him to tea, she makes out she can’t as she’s working to a deadline. Bethany checks her bank balance and looks at her overdraft with concern, but she quickly covers in front of Sarah. When Bethany meets with Suki from the Gazette hoping for work, Suki advises her to try Chit-Chat Magazine as they may be looking for someone.

MICHAEL REALISES HE’S GOT IT WRONG ABOUT ED At No.3, Michael confirms that he’s spoken to James and told him all about the gambling debts and fire. At the factory, Craig arrives and wants a word with Michael where he confirms that the fire at the yard was started by an electrical heater. Michael feels guilty but is relieved that his dad wasn’t responsible. Will Ed and Michael finally make amends?

BOBBY IS A BAD INFLUENCE ON SIMON When Simon reveals that Carla’s taken Bobby on at the factory in favour of him, Leanne offers to have another word, but Simon tells her to leave it. Leanne overrules Nick and offers Simon a job at the bistro. When Simon starts working at the Bistro, Bobby suggests they have a lock-in and Simon’s tempted.

TRACY AND TOMMY GO FOR A LAST MINUTE WINNER As Sally and Tim vie for Tommy’s attention, Tracy grabs her moment with Tommy, telling him to call in the shop with his invoice as Steve’s due back tomorrow and it’ll be their last chance to spend time together. Steve arrives home early. Preparing a French buffet, he tells Ken and Amy how he intends to impress Tracy and put the zing back in their marriage. However in the flower shop, Tracy turns the sign to ‘closed’ as she kisses Tommy. Finding the shop locked, Steve shouts he knows she’s in there. As Tracy gingerly opens the door, with Tommy behind her, Steve’s gobsmacked.

ADAM IS EAGER TO CRACK THE CASE It’s Sarah’s birthday and Adam’s seething as he clocks Sarah helping Damon move his things into the flat. Adam asks Dee-Dee and Joel about a firearms case he’s taken on and wonders if they’ve dealt with anything similar. As Damon hands out shots to Audrey, Gail, Bethany, Nick and Sarah and raises a toast to Sarah’s birthday, Adam shoots him daggers. But when Dee-Dee and Joel arrive at the bistro to tell him that they might have cracked his case, is Adam’s luck about to change?

BETHANY DIGS UP DANIEL’S PAST As Daniel gets ready for work, Bethany casually asks him about the cat-fishing between Daisy and Ryan. Daniel refuses to discuss it leaving Bethany further intrigued.

ELSEWHERE Dee-Dee tells Ed to make a list of everything that was destroyed in the fire for the insurance company. Damon advises him to submit an inflated claim but Ed won’t hear of it. ADAM FEARS DAMON ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE Urged on by Damon, Sarah suggests to Adam it’s time they discussed their divorce. Struggling to hide his emotions, Adam tells Sarah he wants the flat sold as he doesn’t want Damon living in what was once his home. Adam visits Harvey and runs through his grounds for appeal, pointing out that the only way to be sure of success is if they can pin Natasha’s murder on someone else. Harvey later calls Adam, telling him a man called John Perry is willing to confess to Natasha’s murder. Adam tracks down John to Weatherfield General. He’s horrified to realise he’s a cancer patient.

SOMEONE SPOOKS JOEL When Dee-Dee complains that she’s snowed under with work, Joel offers to meet a new client on her behalf and pass on notes. Joel meets up with Dee-Dee’s client in the bistro but they’re interrupted by the arrival of Emily who’s clearly angry. In a panic, Joel steers Emily out. Toyah watches, intrigued, wondering who this woman is!

SIMON CAN’T RESIST A PARTY Realising Simon has the hangover from hell, Leanne covers with Nick, telling Simon to take the day off but admitting she’s worried and reckons he’s drinking too much. Bobby tells Nina and Summer he plans to throw a party to cheer Simon up. When he asks them to invite Lauren, they guess correctly that he fancies her.

ELSEWHERE The English lesson finished, Bethany pumps Lauren for gossip about Daisy and Ryan. Lauren’s only too happy to spill, unaware Bethany is recording their conversation. Steve sets the table for a romantic lunch with Tracy but his plans are ruined when she texts to say she’s stuck at the flower market.

Nick assures him it was an accident, but when Kevin lets slip that the car repairs were nothing to do with the brakes, Nick’s suspicions grow. At school Hope finds Sam unconscious on the floor and yells for a teacher. Sam’s rushed to hospital, where Leanne tells the doctor that Sam was involved in a car accident, forced to admit to Nick that the brakes weren’t at fault, she lied to protect Simon as he’d been drinking and was over the limit when he crashed. Nick reels. Awash with guilt Simon decides to take responsibility.

DANIEL SNAPS BETHANY’S OLIVE BRANCH Bethany assures Daniel that she’ll never do anything to hurt him again and she’ll speak to Daisy about her article. Will they kiss and make up? Bethany persuades Daisy to join her for a coffee in the hope they can bury the hatchet, but when the conversation descends into a row will Bethany be able to fight her corner?

BOBBY HAS DADDY ISSUES Rita and Mary are taken aback to learn that Bobby is Rob’s son. Feeling the heat, Bobby tells Carla he needs to know all about Tina, the girl his Dad killed. Having found out that his Dad killed Tina in cold blood, not self defence as he’d been led to believe, Bobby’s shocked.

ELSEWHERE Gary agrees to let Liam spend the day with him at the furniture shop. Summer confides in Billy that she’s been offered a chance to study in America but she knows that now is not the right time, given Paul’s illness.

BILLY SNAPS UNDER THE PRESSURE Despite his back pain, Billy tells Summer he’s determined to make Valentine’s Day special for Paul with a motorbike and sidecar ride. Wincing in pain Billy rides pillion before knocking back the painkillers and heading out to the bistro. However the mood is ruined when an old schoolmate of Paul’s, and his fellow stags, start behaving raucously. Billy surprises Paul with a Barbershop Quartet. Paul’s delighted but when Benno heads over and tries to force him to dance, Billy sees red and punches Benno.

DYLAN PROVES HIMSELF TO MASON As Liam returns to school Mason continues to mock him. Gary reveals that it’s his fault Liam punched Dylan as he urged him to stand up for himself, George’s heart sinks to realise his instincts were right and Liam is the victim. Mason finds Liam working on his marionette. He grabs it off him and smashes it to smithereens while Dylan films his tears.

BOBBY SEES A WAY TO LAUREN’S HEART When a downbeat Lauren tells Bobby that all the set books she needs to revise for her exam are already out on loan from the library, he hands Evelyn the list of texts, hoping she can track some down at the charity shop.

ELSEWHERE Sam’s upset to discover Simon’s moved out. Leanne rails at Nick for throwing Simon out and always putting his own son first. When she finds him huddled on a bench in Victoria Garden, Leanne’s horrified to realise he’s been there all night. Simon pours his heart out, telling her that Nick’s right, he’s a waste of space, he drinks too much and is turning into his Dad. How will Leanne react? When Bethany admits that Chit-Chat refused to pull the article, Daniel’s furious. Bethany says they should keep quiet about the article and hope nobody reads it.

MARIA CATFISHES LIAM Liam announces to Maria that he’s not going to school anymore. Gary and Maria see Mrs Crawshaw and explain how Liam’s refusing to go to school because he’s being bullied by Mason and Dylan. Mrs Crawshaw tells them that until they have proof, there’s nothing she can do. Eileen urges Maria to check Liam’s socials as she’ll likely find the evidence she needs there. Maria creates a fake SendPx account and sends Liam a follow request. As Maria scrolls through the comments on Liam’s account her face becomes ashen. Gary and Maria tell Liam that the only option left is for him to change schools. In his bedroom, Liam googles ways to kill himself.

BOBBY THINKS THAT LAUREN HAS THE EX-FACTOR Bobby hands Lauren a small bunch of flowers. But when a delivery man enters with a huge posh bouquet, an embarrassed Bobby realises he’s got competition. Lauren thanks Bobby for the flowers, but when her phone rings a gutted Bobby assumes she’s spoken for. Lauren tells the caller to leave her alone.

TRACY AND TOMMY RUB EACH OTHER UP THE WRONG WAY Amy admires the Valentine’s card that Steve gave Tracy. Steve admits that Tracy didn’t buy him one. At the flower shop Tommy spells out to Tracy that they’re finished. Tracy makes out she couldn’t care less when suddenly Amy appears, demanding to know what’s going on.

ELSEWHERE Paul urges Summer to accept the American offer as he doesn’t want to hold her back. Simon admits to Nick, Leanne and Toyah that he’s been drinking too much and he intends to change. Leanne hugs him, but it’s clear Nick doesn’t share her optimism. When Toyah lets slip that Nick was planning to propose to her, Leanne’s taken aback. Leanne gets down on one knee and proposes to Nick. After recent events will he accept?

LIAM’S SEARCH HISTORY PANICS MARIA Maria confronts Mason and Dylan and tells them that because of their vile bullying, Liam will have to change schools. Mason’s amused whilst Dylan feels bad. Liam calls at the salon and tells Maria she’s a good Mum and he loves her. As Liam heads out, he looks at her, aware it could be for the last time. At the school, a teacher shows Mrs Crawshaw the search history on Liam’s returned laptop. As Maria fails to notice a missed call from the school, Gary is called in. Racing to the salon he breaks the news to Maria that Liam’s been researching ways to kill himself. Remembering Liam’s earlier words, a horrified Maria rushes back to the flat in a desperate bid to find Liam.

LAUREN FALLS BACK ON AN OLD MONEY SPINNER Lauren reads a final demand from her energy company before making a call and spelling out to the person on the other end that she doesn’t need their money and wants nothing more to do with them. Bobby’s delighted when Lauren accepts his offer of a date. But when Max and Sabrina call at Lauren’s flat to find her sexily dressed, Lauren reluctantly reveals that she makes videos for O-Vidz.

TOMMY PLAYS GAMES WITH TRACY Tracy seductively invites Tommy to join her in the back of the shop, will he be able to resist?

ELSEWHERE David urges Nick to voice his reservations about their relationship to Leanne. Dee-Dee confides in Alya how she hasn’t heard a word from Joel since they declared their feelings for each other. DYLAN’S TRUE COLOURS SHINE THROUGH As an exhausted Maria watches over Liam while he sleeps, she calls the doctor and demands an urgent appointment. Liam opens up to Dr Gaddas, admitting his life had become so unbearable that he just wanted to end it. Dr Gaddas tells Maria that she’s referring Liam to a mental health unit but there’s a long waiting list so in the meantime she must keep a close eye on him. Meanwhile when Mason goads Gary, telling him that Liam needs to watch his back, Gary sees red and throws him to the ground. Sean dashes over and threatens to report Gary to the police. Determined to clear Dylan’s name, Sean demands he hands over his phone. As Sean scrolls through Dylan’s messages, a look of horror appears on his face.

ALYA QUESTIONS JOEL’S INTENTIONS As Joel leaves a loved up Dee-dee’s flat, a receipt falls from his wallet. Dee-Dee sees it’s from a jeweller’s, dated December and Joel clearly spent a lot of money. Joel calls at the solicitors to find Dee-Dee, Adam and Alya discussing the receipt. When Joel makes out he bought himself some cufflinks, Alya jokes about his expensive taste. As Alya later heads out she spots Joel in a car being driven by a sullen looking woman. Alya watches, her suspicions mounting.

STEVE’S SURPRISE SENDS OFF TOMMY Steve admits to Amy that he’s been neglecting Tracy recently and is planning a romantic meal at the bistro. Tracy throws Tommy a smug grin. Over lunch, Steve apologises for taking her for granted and assures her that he still loves her. Tracy masks her guilt.

ELSEWHERE Bobby tells Lauren he knows about her O-Vidz videos and he’s worried about her. Lauren clams up leaving Bobby frustrated. Lauren admits to Bethany she’s skint and wonders if she’d write up her story of how she was brainwashed by a far right group and sell it to a magazine.

TRACY AND TOMMY ARE SPOTTED PLAYING ONE-ON-ONE When Tracy reveals that she’s got the house to herself as Steve’s on an airport run, Tommy can’t resist. At the same time Gav sets about cleaning the windows at No.1, with Tim giving him a hand getting to grips with the ladder. But when Tracy sees Tim’s face at the bedroom window she screams. Tim’s mortified and hurries down the ladder. Tracy appears in her dressing gown and convinces Tim and Gav that she and Steve were enjoying a bit of lunchtime fun but she’d be grateful if they kept it to themselves. Back at home Tim tells Sally about his eyeful. But when Steve later tells Sally he spent all day in his car, Sally secretly wonders who was in bed with Tracy.

JOEL’S SECRET RUNS IN THE FAMILY Alya steals herself before showing Dee-dee the CCTV footage from the bistro. Dee-Dee confronts Joel who admits that he has a wife, Emily, a daughter, Maisie and his wife threw him out when she was pregnant because he had an affair. Dee-Dee reels in shock.

EILEEN PLAYS PEACEMAKER George, Eileen and Mary make a fuss of Dylan on his birthday, but Sean can barely look at him. Dylan feels awful as he unwraps a watch to see that Sean has had it engraved. Eileen urges Sean to sit down and talk to Dylan properly.

BOBBY FEARS FOR LAUREN Bobby calls at the café looking for Lauren and is put out to hear Roy sacked her. Roy calls at Lauren’s flat with her wages. Lauren thanks him for his kindness and tells him she plans to leave Weatherfield and start afresh. Bobby arrives at Lauren’s and finding the door unlocked, lets himself in. With no sign of Lauren, Bobby sends her a text and heads out, locking the door behind him. Bobby shares his concerns about Lauren with Max, telling him how he found her flat door unlocked, but no sign of her.

ELSEWHERE In the Rovers, Tim’s disappointed to find they no longer sell Newton & Ridley beer. Daisy urges Jenny to talk to the brewery, but Jenny’s dismissive. Bethany tells Daniel about the far right article and shows him a threatening message she’s received from one of Lauren’s old contacts.

WILL STEVE DISCOVER HE’S BEEN SUBBED FOR TOMMY? Tim tells Tracy he knows about her affair and she has to tell Steve. Tracy returns home with a feeling of dread, but she’s wrongfooted when Steve goes down on one knee and asks her if she’ll renew their vows. Tracy finds herself agreeing. An excited Steve tells Tim that he and Tracy are renewing their vows and he’d like him to be his best man. Tim’s horrified, will he break the news to Steve that Tracy is sleeping with Tommy Orpington?

DAISY IS A LANDLADY IN WAITING Carla waits for a client in the Chariot Square Hotel and chats to a rep from Waterfords who explains that he’s meeting Daisy, the owner of the Rovers. Carla assumes he means Jenny, but as she heads off she’s puzzled to see Daisy arrive. Daisy tells Jenny she’s secured a deal allowing them to stock Newton & Ridley. Jenny’s annoyed but Daisy points out she is co-owner of the pub. They’re horrified to realise Carla’s heard every word.

DEE-DEE COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH JOEL’S EX Emily calls at the flat and after confirming that she and Joel are separated, assures Dee-Dee that he’s a good man at heart and she mustn’t give up on him. Will Dee-dee be able to forgive Joel for keeping Emily from her?

ELSEWHERE As John awaits his chemo, Adam quizzes him about his true whereabouts on the night of Natasha’s murder. Adam calls Harvey in prison and tells him there’s a problem with John’s evidence as there’s CCTV footage of him visiting a shop when he was supposedly murdering Natasha. Harvey instructs him to destroy the footage. Adam despairs. When Bobby calls at Lauren’s flat again to find there’s no answer, he heads to the police station to report Lauren missing. Craig promises to make some enquiries.

DAISY’S AFFAIR IS FRONT PAGE NEWS When Daniel asks Daisy if she’ll look after Bertie for a few hours she agrees, looking wistfully after Daniel. Daisy confides in Glenda that there’s still a spark between her and Daniel and she hopes they can get back together. But with Rita’s birthday party in full swing in the Rovers, Mary receives a message and accidentally airdrops it to everyone in the pub. Daisy’s face falls as she reads ‘I had a Torrid Affair with my Acid Attack Hero’.

NEWS OF HARVEY’S APPEAL ROCKS NICK AND LEANNE A family liaison officer calls to tell Nick that another man has come forward claiming that he killed Natasha and Harvey is planning an appeal. When Nick and Leanne tell Sarah and Damon about Harvey’s appeal, Damon reckons that Harvey must be paying someone to carry the can.

STEVE AND TOMMY GET PHYSICAL Tracy breaks the news to Ken and Amy that she’s been having a fling with Tommy. Ken and Amy are appalled. As Tommy puts the finishing touches to their bathroom, Tim tells Sally he wants him gone out of loyalty to Steve.

ELSEWHERE Sean makes Dylan promise to give Mrs Crawshaw the names of the bullies. However when he reads a threatening text from Mason, Dylan’s visibly scared. Dylan shows the headteacher the texts on his phone but when she asks him to name the other bullies, will he comply? Alya tells Dee-dee she needs a girls’ night out to take her mind off Joel. In the bistro, Alya and Toyah do their best to cheer up Dee-Dee but she wishes she’d stayed at home.

DAISY CHIT-CHATS WITH BETHANY’S BOSS Daniel apologises to Daisy for failing to warn her about the article but she gives him short shrift. He then tries to make up with Bethany but she too cuts him dead. Having spoken to her editor a fuming Bethany tells Sarah that because of Daisy making a complaint, she’s been sacked. Bethany confronts Daisy, accusing her of sabotaging her career. Daniel heads over, shocked to hear that Daisy had Bethany fired. As the row escalates, Daisy reveals Lauren blackmailed her and Ryan and only asked Daniel to tutor her so she could increase the pressure. Daniel reels. Back home Daisy broods, but when Jenny reveals she’s got a visitor, Daisy’s gobsmacked to see Ryan.

DEE-DEE SEES THROUGH ADAM Nick tells Dee-Dee about Harvey’s appeal and how worried he is for Sam’s sake. Dee-Dee asks him for all the details and promises to look into it. Dee-Dee returns to the office and, looking Adam straight in the eye, asks him if he’s working on Harvey’s appeal.

STEVE LEARNS OF TOMMY’S SECRET TRANSFER When Kevin reveals that Tommy O has accepted a job as an assistant coach at a football academy in Spain, but it’s not yet common knowledge, Steve’s intrigued.
ELSEWHERE Evelyn and Cassie clean the house in readiness for Fiz and Tyrone’s return. At the garage, Cassie makes Abi promise not to tell Tyrone she’s been using his car. But when Kevin points out she’s put petrol in a diesel engine she’s mortified. Gary tells Maria that they need to come up with a better plan for Liam as she’s in danger of making herself ill by watching him round the clock. Dylan furtively retrieves his confiscated phone and listens to a message from Mason.

HARVEY EXACTS HIS REVENGE ON ADAM Having signed the divorce papers for Sarah a sad and guilty Adam decides to delete Harvey’s appeal document and places the USB of the CCTV footage in a jiffy bag and marks it ‘The murder of Natasha Blakeman’. It isn’t long before an angry Harvey calls him aware that the police have the CCTV footage and tells Adam to watch his back. Adam calls at Sarah’s flat and tells her he doesn’t want a divorce, he still loves her and wants them to try again. A shocked Sarah runs out of the flat. Seeing her Mum upset, Bethany heads over just as a car accelerates towards them!

LIAM OPENS UP TO JAKE Gary and Maria take Liam for a milkshake in the café, but when Mason enters, Maria flies at him and Gary has to restrain her. Mrs Crawshaw tells them she is gathering evidence to get Mason expelled. Liam confides in Jake how he saw Mason picking on another boy at school. Jake reckons he should report him, but Liam’s adamant he doesn’t want to get involved.

CARLA’S ANNOYED WHEN RYAN PICKS A DAISY In the Rovers, Daisy and Ryan kiss passionately whilst Jenny looks on, disapprovingly. Ryan calls at the factory hoping for some work, but Carla explains that they’re fully staffed. When Ryan reveals that he and Daisy are now an item, Carla’s horrified.

ELSEWHERE Steve tells Tim that he’s ditched County and they need to pick a new team to support. Tim’s clearly not happy at the prospect. With Fiz and Tyrone due home, Evelyn and Cassie agree that it’s going to be overcrowded and each suggest the other moves out. Fiz and Tyrone arrive home to find Evelyn and Cassie in the middle of a row. Fiz gently points out to Tyrone that there isn’t room for all of them at No.9 and he’ll have to choose between his Nan and his Mum

DYLAN GETS STABBED IN THE BACK Under pressure, Liam admits to Gary and Maria that Mason threatened him with a knife. They take a terrified Liam to the police station. Craig and another officer call at number 11 and tell Sean, Eileen and Dylan that they have reason to believe they’re hiding a zombie knife that was used in an assault but the knife can’t be found. Dylan insists he knows nothing about it. Mason orders Dylan to get the knife and meet up with him in the ginnel. But as Dylan waits nervously Craig approaches and finds the knife in Dylan’s bag and arrests him. Dylan realises with horror that Mason set him up. Dee-Dee joins Sean and Dylan in the interview room and impresses upon a terrified Dylan that it’s time to stand up to Mason and tell the police everything he knows. What will he say?

TYRONE ENCOURAGES SOME FAMILY COMPETITION At No.9, Evelyn and Cassie each try to impress Fiz and Tyrone with their culinary skills. Tyrone tells Evelyn and Cassie that he doesn’t want either of them to leave and for now, they should carry on as they are. Fiz reckons it’s a recipe for disaster. Meanwhile Fiz tries to impress Carla with some ideas she picked up at the Norfolk factory.

DAMON SINKS TO HARVEY’S LEVEL TO PROTECT SARAH In the hospital, Daniel rails at a guilt ridden Adam for getting involved with Harvey and endangering Sarah’s and Bethany’s lives. Back on the street Ken is shocked to discover how Adam’s actions have affected everyone. Damon assures Sarah that he’s spoken to Harvey, he’s promised to back off and she and Bethany have nothing to fear.

LAUREN’S FRIENDS CALL IN THE PRESS In the café, Bobby records an appeal with Suki from the Gazette in a bid to find Lauren. Suki interviews Roy too, but his appeal is underwhelming and Bobby listens in despair. Evelyn apologetically tells Roy that she’s had to let Lauren’s flat go as the landlord found out she’d been sub-letting it. Roy assures her that Lauren will be fine and he’s convinced that she’s started afresh somewhere new.

ELSEWHERE Yasmeen tells Stu how she’s certain she spotted Dom in the precinct. Stu’s mystified.

DYLAN REALISES THE ERROR OF HIS WAYS Sean is defensive of Dylan as Eileen and George ask questions. After Dee Dee tells Dylan he needs to think about his plea he bumps into Liam and apologises for bullying him and is horrified when Liam tells him he contemplated suicide. Mason finds Dylan in Victoria Garden and thanks him for taking the rap. Dylan looks at him with contempt and tells him that he told the police about the hit and run too.

ROY GETS HIS HANDS DIRTY, WHILST BOBBY DIGS DEEP When Roy discovers Evelyn is going to get charged for the terrible state Lauren’s flat has been left in he takes responsibility for cleaning it up. Bobby is deeply suspicious when he discovers Roy in the flat going through Lauren’s things. Bobby calls at No.8 and fills Max in on his search for Lauren. When Max reveals that Lauren had two O-Vidz accounts and Ryan reported her for the first one, Bobby’s intrigued. Bobby tells Carla and Ryan that someone called DirtyNigel54 posted online that they’ve spotted Lauren and he’s off to meet them to find out more.

FIZ FEELS SIDELINED A glum Fiz confides in Tyrone that she failed to get a promotion despite her ideas and even the girls seem to prefer the company of Evelyn and Cassie. Tyrone confides in Evelyn how Fiz is feeling sidelined and worries the kids don’t need her any more. Urged on by Evelyn, Ruby reads out her monologue about her role model.

ELSEWHERE Don wants to return the £10K to Stu and he’d prefer it if Eliza knew nothing about his visit as it would only upset her all over again. In the office, Dee-Dee continues to give Adam the cold shoulder and assures him she’s looking for somewhere else to live and should soon be out of his hair.

BOBBY’S HOPES OF MOVING ON ARE DASHED Bobby suggests Sean should think about renting Lauren’s old flat. But when Sean says he saw what looked like blood on the curtains Carla and Bobby head straight for the police station and tell DS Swain. DS Swain and Craig let themselves into Lauren’s flat and survey the extent of the blood stains. Bobby tells them about her relationship with Roy, how he gave her a job, found her somewhere to live and cleaned up the mess in the flat after she left. DS Swain calls at the café and questions Roy.

ELIZA FINDS OUT HOW MUCH SHE’S WORTH TO DOM Stu tells Yasmeen that he’s going to put the £10k into trust for Eliza’s future. Eliza finds the envelope containing £10k in Stu’s coat pocket together with a note that reads “I’m sorry I let Eliza down”. As Eliza and Alya look at him expectantly, Stu’s heart sinks.

SEAN SEES A LIFELINE FOR DYLAN As Sean scrolls on his phone looking at flats to rent, Dylan insists he wants nothing more to do with Mason. A guilty Eileen assures them there’s no rush to move out and to take their time. As Gary and Maria discuss Liam’s home-schooling routine, they’re interrupted by a knock on the door from the police. The police tell Gary and Maria that Mason’s been charged with threatening with a bladed article in a public space and he’ll likely receive a custodial sentence.

ELSEWHERE Simon tells Nick and Leanne that he’s prepared for whatever punishment the magistrate throws at him tomorrow as he deserves it. Sam agrees to write a character reference for Simon. Sarah and Damon excitedly show Gail the details of a house they’re going to view. Damon calls Harvey and tells him he wants a cut of the profits from the job or he’ll go to the police then makes out to Sarah that he’s spoken to his financial advisor and they can afford to buy the house of her dreams.

MAX HAS A HUNCH Bobby and Max have spent the night watching the police coming and going from Lauren’s flat. When Bethany and Daniel call round at No.8 to ask about Lauren Max quizzes Daniel about his tutor sessions. Realising the dates don’t stack up, Max eyes Daniel with suspicion. When Max goes to the station to tell Swain about Lauren’s O-Vidz account he discovers Ryan had already told her. DS Swain questions Max about Lauren’s secret boyfriend. Max admits that he never met her boyfriend, but he suspects it’s Daniel Osbourne. DS Swain quizzes Daniel about his relationship with Lauren, suggesting that she paid for her lessons with sex. Daniel’s horrified and when DS Swain drags up his previous relationships with Summer and Nicky Wheatle he demands a solicitor realising he is under suspicion. Bethany and Daniel listen in horror to a radio interview with DS Swain in which she suggests that Lauren was murdered.

ELIZA’S ON THE HUNT FOR HER DAD Hope, Sam and Eliza manage to track down Dom to the Chariot Square Hotel bar. Eliza calls at Speed Daal with Dom in tow. With Stu and Yasmeen present, Eliza tells Dom that she’s not prepared to lose him again and she’d like to move to Germany with him.

SIMON DOES THE RIGHT THING As Leanne and Simon get ready to leave for court, Nick makes out that he’s far too busy to go with them. Simon’s disappointed and Leanne shoots him a filthy look.

TOMMY AND TRACY PLAY HAPPY FAMILIES Tracy persuades a reluctant Amy to meet her for lunch. Amy meets up with Tracy for lunch in the bistro, but she’s unimpressed to discover Tommy there too. When Tracy explains that she thought it would be nice for them to get to know each other, Amy scowls and orders the most expensive Champagne.

ELSEWHERE Linda broaches the subject of Joseph’s schoolwork with Chesney and reckons he’d benefit from a move to Oakhill. When Linda offers to pay the fees, Chesney’s gobsmacked.

ROY TAKES THE HEAT OFF DANIEL Daniel confides in Ken that he hasn’t slept a wink fearing he’ll be banged up for a murder he didn’t commit. Meanwhile it becomes clear that Roy is getting trolled online and Carla is forced to show him the vile comments. Max wants to do another appeal but Carla and Nina warn Roy not to do the appeal as it’ll only invite further unwanted attention. Suzi from the Gazette arrives at the café hoping to record a fresh appeal. But they’re interrupted by the arrival of DS Swain who tells Roy she’s arresting him on suspicion of the murder of Lauren Bolton. Carla and Nina watch in horror as Roy is led away. The video of his arrest has been posted online. Carla’s sickened by Roy’s predicament.

NICK PUTS A DAMPENER ON WEDDING TALKS Leanne tells Debbie that she’s taking Simon to the The Institute seminar at the Chariot Square Hotel. Debbie suggests she takes Nick along too so they can check out the wedding fayre. Under pressure, Nick reluctantly agrees to accompany Leanne to the wedding fayre. Meanwhile Rowan from The Institute charms Leanne and gives her the benefit of his advice. Leanne’s taken aback. Rowan talks to Leanne and encourages her to share her innermost thoughts and feelings. As he makes to leave, he flashes her a smile and Leanne finds herself blushing.

PAUL CALLS GEMMA OUT Gemma stuffs the Oakhill prospectus in a drawer and instructs Chesney to have a word with Linda and tell her to back off. In the Rovers, Izzy and Gemma lambast Linda for the way she favours Joseph over Jake and the quads. Dee-Dee and Paul point out to Gemma that Oakhill is the opportunity of a lifetime and she shouldn’t deprive Joseph simply because she hates his grandmother.

ELSEWHERE As Eliza practises her German, determined that one day she’ll go and live with Dom, Stu comes to a decision. Stu admits to Dom that he’s been entirely selfish and suggests that Eliza has two weeks with him in Germany at Easter as a trial run with a view to moving there permanently. In a bid to cheer him up, Amy suggests to Steve they watch a movie together later. When Toyah lets slip that Amy had lunch with Tracy and Tommy and they appeared to hit it off, Steve’s upset and Toyah realises she’s put her foot in it.

MAX DROPS ROY IN IT In the cafe an internet sleuth listens as Roy tells Nina and Yasmeen he has been asked to go back to the police station to be interviewed. After hearing David and Shona speculating whether Lauren’s dad’s far right group could be involved Max decides to secretly pay Reece a visit in prison and tells him how Roy is wrongly suspected of Lauren’s murder when all he did was clean the flat for her. Later in the café, Roy finds himself alone apart from two dodgy men sitting at a table. When one of them gets up and locks the door, Roy realises he’s in danger.

TRACY DISCOVERS TOMMY’S SECRET TRAVEL PLANS Amy convinces Steve that it’s best if she tells Tracy about Tommy’s move to Spain. In the Rovers, Steve can’t help himself and breaks the news to Tracy that Tommy has accepted a job as football coach in Spain. Did she know? Steve suggests to Tracy that with Tommy out of the way, they could give their marriage another go.

GEMMA AND CHESNEY TAKE JOSEPH TO OAKHILL Despite things still being frosty between them and Ches sleeping on the sofa, Gemma and Chesney put on a brave face and visit Oakhill with Linda and Joseph. But it is clear something is bothering Joseph.

LEANNE FEELS INSPIRED Simon’s pleased to see Nick and Leanne getting on well. When Leanne reveals that Rowan gave her some sound advice, Simon suggests she joins him for the next Institute. Rowan’s delighted to see her again.In the hotel bar, Leanne and Simon compliment Rowan on his seminar. Rowan basks in their flattery and tells them he hopes to see them again. Leanne enthuses to Nick about the seminar and how she found inspirational.

MUM’S THE WORD FOR DYLAN When Sean admits that he hasn’t told Violet anything about Dylan’s predicament, Eileen’s horrified and points out that she has a right to know. Eileen puts pressure on Sean to call Violet, but Dylan reveals that he’s already spoken to his Mum and she can’t attend the court hearing as she’s in Ibiza. Is he telling the truth?

ROY’S RANT IS RECORDED Nina’s appalled when she reads about some amateur sleuths who’ve been digging at the bat roost site hoping to find some evidence to put Roy in the frame for Lauren’s murder. Roy loads his car boot with shovels and bin bags and heads for the roost site to ensure all is ok. But as he returns Swain is waiting for him to take him to the station. Has Roy’s visit to the roost site cause him more problems? Nina, Carla, Bobby, Max, Evelyn, Asha and Roy join together for Lauren’s vigil in the precinct. But when Roy addresses the crowd and speaks fondly of Lauren and how much she meant to him, some lads make nasty comments and film him on their phones. How will Roy react? Evelyn, Carla and Nina urge Roy to keep a low profile until the police find out who really killed Lauren. Roy remains resolute. In the café, Nina confides in Carla how worried she is for Roy.

EILEEN RUMBLES DYLAN’S LIES In court, Dylan pleads guilty to carrying a knife in a public place. Sean listens, upset. Having been handed a community service order, Dylan thanks Sean for all his support and promises him that he intends to get his life back on track. Sean and Dylan return home to find Eileen there with Violet who’s clearly fuming. Violet turns on Dylan wondering if there’s something he’d like to tell her. Eileen reveals she called Violet about not being at the hearing and discovered she had no idea about what had been going on. Violet tears a strip off Sean for his lousy parenting skills and Sean’s stung.

PAUL’S VOICE CAUSES HIM TROUBLE Paul is slurring his words and when his new PA arrives she is out of her depth and struggles to understand him. Billy tried to play it down but Summer tells him they have to face facts, his speech is deteriorating.

ELSEWHERE Tommy calls at the florist’s and begs Amy to have a word with Tracy for him as he’d like a chance to explain himself before he leaves. Daniel returns home angry and upset and tells Bethany that he’s been suspended from work whilst he remains under suspicion and he’s a good idea who reported him. Despite Tim’s reservations, Steve joins a dating site and uploads a profile picture.

PAUL FEARS IT’S THE SWANSONG FOR HIS VOICE Billy explains to a shocked Summer that he is worried to talk about Paul’s deterioration with him as he plans to take his own life when things get too bad. When Paul finds out about Summer’s plans to delay her American course he implores her not to give up her dreams because of him. Later at the Rovers karaoke evening Paul reveals to a worried Billy that he has put them down to do Stand By Me. How will it go?

EVELYN DISCOVERS THE TRUTH ABOUT CASSIE Evelyn’s taken aback when she comes across an article online describing Lauren as a sex worker. Roy’s adamant he doesn’t want to know the details. At No.9, Cassie reads the article about Lauren’s sex work admits to Tyrone it brings back some awful memories for her. Cassie is angry when she finds Evelyn and Daisy discussing Lauren in the shop. When Tyrone reveals that Cassie once had to resort to sex work, Fiz and Evelyn are stunned. But does Tyrone know the full story?

MAX ACCUSES SABRINA OF GOING TO THE PRESS Bobby calls at the salon clearly upset and shows Max the article about Lauren. The lads set off in search of Sabrina, determined to find out who told the press about Lauren’s sex work. Sabrina assures Max and Bobby that it wasn’t her who blabbed to the press and she’s offended that they would even think that. As Sabrina storms off, Max feels terrible.

ELSEWHERE Sarah returns from viewing a house and admits it was the stuff of dreams. Damon promises that he’ll do what he can to raise the money. Harvey calls Damon from prison and gives him his instructions for his part in the robbery. Damon lies to Sarah and tells her he won’t be able to make Harry’s party tomorrow as he’s seeing a new client who could prove very lucrative.

DAMON WANTS TO GET THE JOB DONE Harry thanks Damon for his VR headset and gives him a hug. Damon apologises again for not being able to come to Harry’s birthday party. When Sarah talks to Ed about the job he is doing for Damon she realises he has been lying to her. How will Damon talk his way out of this one?

PAUL STRUGGLES TO BLEND IN AT DINNER Summer books her flight to Boston and Billy agrees to cook a roast dinner by way of celebration while Bernie takes Paul to his appointment with the speech therapist. The therapist confirms that Paul’s speech and ability to eat solid food have deteriorated and suggests that it might be time to use a feeding tube. Paul and Bernie return home and break the news that he can no longer eat solid food for fear of choking. Paul assures Billy and Summer if they liquidise his food, he’ll be fine. Billy, Summer, Bernie and Todd tuck into their roast dinner while Paul sets about his bowl of puréed food. As Billy, Summer, Bernie and Todd clear away the plates, Paul fights back the tears.

ROY COULD SLEEPWALK INTO MORE TROUBLE Arriving at the cafe Nina discovers a smouldering pan on the stove. Roy realises he must have been sleep walking again and assures her it won’t happen again. Roy tells Dee-Dee that whatever the cost, he’s happy to pay in order to clear his name. Nina confides in Dee-Dee that she’s worried about Roy’s sleepwalking and wonders how on earth he’s going to pay his legal fees if it ends up going to court.

ELSEWHERE Evelyn cooks lunch for Cassie and offers to buy her a drink afterwards. Cassie’s bemused. In the Rovers, Evelyn and Cassie raise a toast and agree to put the past behind them. In the Rovers, Jenny tells Daisy and Glenda about her plans for a speed dating night. Glenda reckons it’s a great idea whilst Daisy smiles through gritted teeth.

DAISY HAS AN UNWELCOME VISITOR Jenny and Daisy are horrified when Christina texts to say she is coming to stay for two weeks. Ryan is shocked when he sees Daisy telling her mum she is not welcome and suggesting she goes to visit her friend in Amsterdam. Christina calls in the Rovers and explains that her passport has expired and she’s nowhere to stay. When Ryan insists she should stay and have a drink as it’s the least they can do after she lent them all that money to buy the pub, Christina’s intrigued. Will Christina blow their cover?

STEVE TRUSTS KEN’S DATING ADVICE In the café, Steve moans to David that there’s been no interest in his dating profile. Debbie suggests he should try the cocktail night at the Chariot Square if he wants to meet someone. Steve returns home to find Ken trying on different jackets. When Ken reveals that he’s going to join him for cocktail night at the Chariot Square, Steve does his best to appear pleased. How will the evening go? Debbie approaches Ken and Steve with drinks and pointing out Elspeth, an older lady in the corner, explains that she bought them and she’s had her eye on Ken all evening. Steve’s incredulous to realise Ken’s pulled.

ELSEWHERE Chesney and Gemma set off with Joseph for the Oakhill entrance exam. Billy, Paul and Todd bid an emotional farewell to Summer as she sets off for Boston.

GLENDA GETS SOME UNWELCOME VISITORS With Jenny heading off to a posh dinner with Rita and Daisy going away with Ryan, a glammed up Glenda agrees to host the speed dating night at the Rovers. The night is lacking in romance aside from Christina taking a shine to guy with a tattoo. With the chaos of the evening over and the pub closed, Glenda heads through to the bar to find masked burglars raiding the till. One of the men orders Glenda to get down on the floor. Terrified, Glenda does as she’s told. As the robbers make off with the takings, a tearful and panicky Glenda calls the police. Jenny returns home to find out from Glenda that they’ve been burgled. Glenda puts on a brave face, but Jenny insists she takes the morning off. Paul and Billy call at the Rovers to retrieve Paul’s laptop. They’re gutted to find out it was stolen by the burglars. Glenda feels terrible. With the pub closed, Glenda offers Jenny and Daisy a nightcap, but as she heads through to the bar, she relives the awful events of the night before and it’s clear they’re taking their toll.

STEVE SPEEDS INTO A DATING DISASTER Steve decides to get back on the horse and sets off for the speed dating night at the Rovers. With the speed dating in full flow, Steve’s unimpressed to find himself sitting opposite Tracy but at the next move he hits it off with Cassie. The speed dating over, Steve suggests to Cassie they meet up again. Are things looking up for Steve?

IT’S JUDGEMENT DAY FOR JOSEPH Chesney receives a call from Dawn, the Admissions Officer at Oakhill to inform him that Joseph passed the exam and she’ll be round tomorrow to interview him. Gemma and Chesney set about cleaning the house in preparation for Joseph’s interview. How will it go?

ELSEWHERE In the flower shop flat, Paul plays back some of his pre-recorded messages through his laptop. Billy reckons it still needs some work. Sarah calls at the corner shop flat and asks Adam if they can put the sale of the flat on hold for now. Adam assures her there’s no rush, but when he tentatively suggests it would be nice if they could be friends again, Sarah tells him it’s too soon and hurries out.

STEVE’S BIN AND MADE A BAD DECISION Steve reads the letter from Tommy inviting Tracy to move to Spain with him and hides it. Over lunch in the Bistro, Tracy admits to Amy that she misses having a man in her life. Steve returns home and is taken aback to find Tracy there and as he reaches into his pocket for Tommy’s letter, he stops in his tracks when Tracy announces she’d like them to get back together. Tracy assures Steve that Tommy was a stupid mistake and promises she’s back for good. As Steve heads out for a celebratory bottle of wine, a subdued Tracy watches him go. When Steve reveals that he and Tracy are back together, Dev is horrified and refuses to serve him. After suggesting that they go to the pub instead, Tracy heads out and Steve burns Tommy’s letter, determined to save his marriage. Will Steve be able to hide this from Tracy?

DAISY’S SPENDING IS A CAUSE OF CONCERN FOR JENNY As Daisy climbs out of Tim’s taxi with her shopping bags, Bethany reckons she must have spent a fortune but Daisy snaps that it’s all from the charity shops in Alderley Edge. In the Rovers, an intrigued Bethany overhears Jenny tearing a strip off Daisy for spending so much money on her shopping spree and points out that they need to keep a low profile money-wise. Tim lets slip that he picked Daisy up from the centre of Manchester and Bethany realises she was lying. Is Bethany coming close to uncovering the truth about Daisy?

GARY HAS A PLAN TO HELP MARIA David tells Maria that if she doesn’t return to work very soon, Audrey will look to replace her. Maria confides in Gary that she’ll lose her job if she doesn’t return soon and although they need the money, she doesn’t feel ready to leave Liam. Gary approaches Carla and tells her he’s thinking of selling the factory building and he’d like her to have first refusal but Carla admits there’s no way she can afford it. Maria waits for Gary to go out and then pulls out a box from her bag and opens it.

ELSEWHERE Hope calls at the Kabin and asks Brian for a paper round and when Brian confirms that there is a vacancy, Hope asks for an advance on her wages and explains that there’s a guy in the precinct flogging a cheap laptop and she needs the cash. Linda collects Joseph to take him for his school uniform fitting but to Gemma’s dismay, Chesney insists that he’ll pay for it. When Chesney reveals that he’s trying to get the money together for Joseph’s new school uniform, Dev has an idea…

BETHANY FINDS SOME NOTES ON A SCANDAL Determined to get on better with Daisy, Bethany tells Daniel she’s going to call in and see if she needs help preparing for their dinner tonight. In the Rovers, Bethany persuades a reluctant Daisy to let her help with the cooking and whilst Daisy’s distracted, Bethany turns the oven up on the apple pie. Having discovered the apple pie burnt to a crisp, Daisy heads out to buy a replacement leaving Bethany and Ryan to prepare the evening meal. When Jenny calls Ryan through to the bar, Bethany seizes the opportunity to rifle through drawers, stuffs something in her handbag and hurries out. In the builder’s yard flat, Bethany takes out Stephen’s journal from her bag and flicks through it, intrigued. Will Bethany find out the truth about the Rovers?

MARIA KEEPS AN EYE ON LIAM A nervous Maria heads off to work leaving Gary to home-school Liam. In the salon, Maria and Audrey discuss hairstyle options with a bride to be as Maria takes a sneak peak at an app on her phone which allows her to watch Gary and Liam in the flat through a hidden camera. As Maria works on the bride’s hair, she stops to check her camera app and starts to panic when Liam disappears to the bathroom. After checking her phone again to find that Liam still hasn’t emerged from the bathroom, Maria grabs her bag and hurries out.

KEN PLANS A FAREWELL GATHERING FOR TRACY Tracy calls at No.1 for the last of her things and admits to Ken, Amy and Daniel how much she’s going to miss them. Ken suggests a farewell drink in the Rovers. Ken, Amy and Daniel raise a toast to Tracy and wish her well with her new life in Spain as Steve buries himself in his newspaper and Amy feels for him.

ELSEWHERE In the solicitors’, Dee-Dee confides in Adam and Alya that she’s worried all the evidence so far is stacked against Roy. Carla tells Dee-Dee about Roy’s sleep-walking and the abusive calls and feeling the pressure, Dee-Dee assures Carla she’s doing everything she can to prove Roy’s innocence.

JENNY SINGS LIKE A CANARY In the café, Jenny masks her panic as Carla makes a dig about Bethany’s accusations. In the Rovers, a stressed Jenny tells Daisy they need to find a way to pay the money back to Carla without her finding out but Daisy reckons they should just keep quiet. With the karaoke night in full flow, Sally admires Daisy’s new designer bag and as Jenny berates Daisy for flaunting her wealth, she fails to realise her words can be heard over the microphone. As Ryan steps in to calm the situation, Carla clocks the tension. Carla finds a visibly upset Jenny in Victoria Garden and when Carla quizzes her about Bethany’s suspicions over Stephen’s money, Jenny crumples and admits that they took it but had every intention of paying it back. Will Carla be able to forgive Jenny?

MASON HONEYTRAPS DYLAN Sean is delighted as Violet and Dylan call at No.11, but Violet makes it clear that it’s not a social visit and has only called in to pick up Dylan’s smart shoes for the hearing. As Violet and Dylan pursue their menus in the bistro, Bella, a girl from Dylan’s old class approaches and invites him to join her later for an ice cream in the precinct. Dylan arrives at the precinct and is horrified to discover Mason waiting for him. Is Dylan in trouble?

ROY REACHES OUT TO LAUREN’S MUM Bernie’s phone pings and she’s horrified to see that someone has posted Lauren’s Mum’s contact details online. Roy is appalled as he studies the post and against Evelyn’s better judgement, calls Lauren’s Mum, Kerry, and leaves a message offering his sympathy. In the café, a customer makes jibes at Roy, suggesting he’s responsible for Lauren’s disappearance and as Bernie and David leap to his defence, Roy’s sickened to realise the trouble he’s brought into his friends’ lives.

DEE-DEE AND MICHAEL DISCOVER FINAL DEMAND FOR ED Michael shows Dee-Dee a final demand which came through the post for Ed and Dee-Dee is shocked to realise how much Ed still owes. Ed returns from Birmingham and breaks the news to Michael that Aggie has given him his marching orders and won’t be returning home. Michael offers him a comforting hug and quickly slides the final demand letter out of sight.

ELSEWHERE In the salon, Maria bursts into tears and steals herself to tell Audrey about her anxieties.

LIAM AND DYLAN JOIN FORCES As Liam gets ready for court, Gary and Maria do their best to bolster his confidence. With his rucksack on his back, Dylan scuttles out of the hotel. A worried Violet calls at No.11 and tells Sean that Dylan has gone missing. In the Bistro, a nervous Liam picks at his breakfast when Sean and Violet hurry in to reveal that Dylan’s missing. As Gary offers to help find Dylan, Liam heads home and unbeknown to him, someone watches from across the street. Dylan drags Liam into the ginnel and after telling him about Mason’s threats, suggests they do a runner to avoid going to court. Having discovered that Liam’s not at home, Gary and Maria tell Sean and Violet that Liam’s gone missing too. Will Liam and Dylan show up for court?

SAM GOES TO CHECK HIS MATE In the café, Roy answers the phone to receive another volley of abuse and he quickly retreats upstairs. At No.8, Nick and Shona discuss the dreadful abuse that Roy’s having to deal with as Sam wishes he could pay Roy a visit but Nick doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Sam lies to Shona and tells her that he’s going round to see Hope, but calls at the café and suggests to Roy they have a game of chess.

DAISY’S DEJECTED TO BE REJECTED Daisy arrives for work, convinced Carla can’t fire her as her name is on the deeds but Jenny tells her to sling her hook. Daisy calls at Street Cars flat and tells Ryan that she’s lost everything and she doesn’t want to lose him too. Appalled by her recent behaviour, Ryan orders her to leave. Is it over for Daisy and Ryan?

ED’S INSURANCE PAY OUT At No.3, Ed opens a letter from the insurance company and is pleasantly surprised to see that they’re going to pay out more than he was expecting. Ed tells Dee-Dee and Michael that he intends to spend his insurance money on a new set of tools so that he can get back to work but Dee-Dee and Michael reckon he’d be better off using the money to pay off a chunk of his debt.

ELSEWHERE Toyah finds Leanne watching one of Rowan’s motivational videos and whilst Leanne enthuses about the benefits of his teachings, Toyah remains sceptical.

STU FOLLOWS A LEAD Nina makes it clear to Evelyn and Shona that despite all the crank calls, they must still answer the phone as Roy is hoping for a call from Lauren’s mother. After reading through comments online, Stu tells Yasmeen and Alya that he intends to help Roy clear his name as he knows what it’s like to be wrongly accused. In the precinct, Stu talks to a homeless guy, hoping for information about Lauren and as he pulls out his wallet, he fails to notice the guy picking up a brick. Stu returns to Speed Daal with a bloodied face and explains to Yasmeen how he had his wallet stolen and was hit with a brick. Roy reels in shock as Evelyn reveals that Hayley’s son, Christian has posted some hurtful things about him and Hayley online. Lauren’s Mum, Kerry, calls at the café and introduces herself to Roy and Nina.

THE INSTITUTE DOESN’T COMPUTE WITH TOYAH Nick catches Leanne with her eyes closed and explains that she’s ‘reality coding’ in an attempt to eliminate the unexpected. Debbie tells Toyah that Rowan’s leaving for the States today and she’ll be glad to see the back of him as she’s sick of listening to his ‘reality coding’ nonsense. As Rowan checks out of the hotel, a breathless Toyah arrives and quizzes him about the Autovalent Institute. As Rowan spouts his reality coding drivel, Toyah reveals that she’s a trained counsellor and suggests that what he’s doing is harmful. Toyah warns Nick that Rowan is a fraud who preys on vulnerable people and he needs to nip Leanne’s obsession with the Autovalent Institute in the bud before they take all her money.

DYLAN PREPARES TO GO BACK TO LONDON Sean begs Violet to reconsider and let Dylan remain in Weatherfield, but she won’t be swayed. As Dylan leaves for London, Sean and Dylan exchange an emotional goodbye. Heading towards the tram station, Dylan admits to Violet that he doesn’t want to leave as he wants to put things right with the people he hurt. Will Violet have a change of heart?

ELSEWHERE When a shamefaced Jenny tells Rita about the stolen money and tries to pin it on Daisy, Rita reckons she’s kidding herself and equally to blame. Will this give Jenny food for thought? Debbie offers Ed a job as handyman at the Chariot Square Hotel and he gratefully accepts, pleased that things are looking up.

ROY’S PUSHED TO BREAKING POINT During the night, Kerry secretly films Roy’s living room and records a commentary making him out to be a murderer. Kelly leaps back onto the sofa and pretends to be asleep when Roy sleep walks into the room. After reading the horrible online comments Christian wrote about Roy, Nick and Sam call at the cafe flat where Nick apologises to Roy and assures him that when things are back to normal, he’d be happy for Sam to spend time with him. When Sam tells Roy that he’s his BFF, best friend forever, Kerry secretly takes note. A shaken Roy heads down to the cafe and explains to Shona and Nina that he’s just had a call from Lauren’s mum asking him not to contact her again. With all eyes on Alice, she admits she isn’t Kerry. As Roy and Evelyn head out with Freddie, they come face to face with Alice who starts filming them and as Roy tries to stop her, she stumbles and bangs her head. Accusing him of assault, Alice hurries away. Has Roy got himself into more trouble? Dee-Dee returns to the café and breaks the news to Carla, Nina, Shona and Evelyn that Roy has been charged with the murder of Lauren Bolton. Roy sits alone in his police cell, his mind completely numb with fear.

GARY’S CONFESSION IS CAUGHT ON CAMERA Liam announces that he feels ready to return to school but Maria refuses to discuss it. Gary’s hurt as Maria implies that he isn’t Liam’s real dad as she tells him it’s different for her. On the street, Sarah confides in Gary that it’s Damon’s sentencing today and in turn, Gary tells her about Liam’s suicidal thoughts. Having invited her back to the flat, Gary tells Sarah about Maria’s overprotective behaviour and how it’s ruining their relationship as Maria checks her camera app and is intrigued to see Sarah and Gary in the flat. As Maria turns up the volume and hears their conversation, she’s hurt. Sarah takes a call from Dee-Dee telling her that Damon got six years and as she starts to cry, Gary takes her in his arms.

SIMON HAS A PROPOSITION FOR LEANNE Simon tells Leanne and Carla about his idea for a new food delivery app. Carla’s sceptical but Leanne’s enthusiastic and advises him to come up with a business plan. Simon presents an impressed Leanne with his business plan and Leanne confirms she would like to be his first investor.

ELSEWHERE Yasmeen’s delighted as Eliza arrives from Germany but Stu’s downcast as he reveals that Eliza’s told him that she’s decided to make Germany her new home.

DEE-DEE CAN’T SAVE ROY FROM PRISON As they take their seats in the police interview room, Roy asks Dee-Dee for a piece of paper and an envelope and begins to write. In the court, the CPS barrister paints Roy as a murderer with a violent past and lists his crimes including the assault on Gary and the abduction of Wayne. As Nina, Evelyn and Carla await Roy’s bail hearing, Dee-Dee hurries over and hands Nina a letter from Roy. Fighting back tears, they realise that Roy’s convinced he’s going to prison. Unable to face the hearing, Evelyn heads back to the cafe to check on Freddie. Dee-Dee puts forward her case and urges the Judge to grant Roy bail, but the judge refuses the application and orders that he be held in custody until his trial. In the cafe, Bobby is given food for thought whilst mulling over Roy’s predicament with Bernie. What is Bobby planning?

ADAM EMPLOYS AN UNUSUAL DEAL-MAKING TECHNIQUE Adam meets up with Rebecca, a new client, at the Chariot Square Hotel. Having ordered a bottle of wine, Adam flirts with Rebecca and the chemistry between them is evident. When Alya calls to tell him that he’s needed in the office for a meeting, Adam kills the call leaving her frustrated. Alya takes the meeting with Rich from Fabian’s in place of Adam and Rich is impressed with her knowledge, suggesting she’s future partner material. Adam returns to the street with Rebecca and as they kiss, Adam invites her up to the office. As Alya winds up the meeting with Rich, suddenly the door bursts open and Adam and Rebecca stumble in, mid-snog.

STU PUTS ELIZA FIRST AND BREAKS HIS HEART Stu shows Eliza his newly tattooed arm with her name on it but when Eliza points out that the ‘z’ is the wrong way round, Hope and Yasmeen are amused.

SARAH FINDS OUT ABOUT MARIA’S HIDDEN CAMERA Gary eyes Maria’s phone, wishing he could delete the camera footage. On the street, Sarah apologises to Gary for making a drunken pass at him and is horrified when Gary reveals that Maria has a hidden camera. As Gary shows a valuer around the factory, Sarah approaches, worried about the camera footage but Gary assures her he’ll delete it. Will Gary delete the footage in time?

ELSEWHERE Simon worries that Leanne is backing out as she tells him that he needs to do some more research into his business before she’s prepared to invest any money.

DANIEL’S OLD JACKET ATTRACTS SOME FUZZ Bobby’s face pales as he receives a call summoning him to the station for further questioning. In the prison, Roy refuses his breakfast and refuses to leave his cell. DS Swain gives a shaken Bobby a grilling and reminds him that perverting the course of justice is a serious offence and carries a custodial sentence. Bobby returns home and tells Carla how under pressure he made out to DS Swain that the intruder in Lauren’s flat was wearing a balaclava and a dark coat with a fur-trimmed hood. When Bobby reveals that he’s changed his statement as he suddenly remembered seeing a man running out of Lauren’s flat, Cassie, Evelyn and Nina listen with interest. Cassie tells Evelyn and Nina that not long after Lauren’s disappearance, she remembers seeing a coat in the charity shop fitting the description Bobby gave. Evelyn and Cassie return from the charity shop and tell Nina that the coat has gone but there were some other clothes that came in with it and one of the jumpers has a name tag. DS Swain calls at the builder’s yard flat and tells Daniel she’d like him to come with him as there’s been a development in the Lauren Bolton case. Has Bobby unknowingly accused Daniel?

ALYA STEPS ON ADAM’S TOES Alya tells Yasmeen that she’s decided to accept the job offer from Rich. In the solicitors, Adam and Dee-Dee struggle without Alya to organise them. Rich takes Alya for lunch in the bistro, congratulates her on such a successful morning and tells her that she’s exactly what Fabian’s needs and she’ll go far. Adam receives an email from his biggest client informing him that they’re transferring their work to Fabian’s. How will Adam react to Alya poaching their business?

SEAN AND DYLAN MOVE ON TO PRECINCTS NEW Having borrowed the Underworld van, Kirk helps Sean and Dylan move their stuff out of No.11 and offers to drop Dylan and Liam at school. In the café, Mary tells Eileen that having called at Sean’s new flat, it’s clear that they’re very short of furniture and the place is desperate for a facelift. As Sean moves the last of his things out of No.11, Mary hands him a house-warming gift in the shape of a candle.

ELSEWHERE In the Rovers, Joel opens up to Dee-Dee and reveals that Emily has been in touch and she’d like him to meet Maeve, his daughter. In Speed Daal, Eliza admits to Sam and Hope how much she’ll miss them. Stu tells Yasmeen that he really wants to make things work, but it’s up to her.

DANIEL HANDS MAX A SMOKING GUN Bethany does her best to persuade Daniel to put thoughts of Lauren to the back of his mind and come for a walk. Outside the café, Daniel has a go at Max for reporting him to the police and wasting their time but as Daniel and Bethany head off, Max tells Abi that he has no idea what he’s talking about. When Abi reveals who reported Daniel to the police, Max is shocked. Max calls at the factory and rails at Bobby for failing to tell him about Daniel’s involvement in Lauren’s disappearance. Bethany reads an article online suggesting that Lauren was working as an escort which gives Daniel an idea to call Nicky.. Bethany finds Max in the café and orders him to lay off Daniel as he’s a lovely, kind person who is being wrongfully accused. As Daniel heads off to meet Nicky, Max resolves to follow him. In the precinct, Daniel meets up with Nicky and her friend Deana. Max watches with excitement and after taking some pictures on his phone, explains to Bobby that he recognises Nicky as a sex worker and Daniel is clearly hiding something.

JOEL FEARS DEE-DEE’S IN DANGER Dee-Dee admits to Michael how much she enjoys Joel’s company but Michael reminds her that Joel lied to her in the past. In the solicitors, Dee-Dee takes a call which shocks her, but she covers in front of Adam. Dee-Dee takes another unwanted call but when Joel arrives she paints on a smile. As Joel helps Dee-Dee with Roy’s bail application, he notices that she’s received some email death threats

SAM SEES THE GOOD SIDE OF MINDSET In the bistro, an upbeat Nick tells Leanne and Toyah that they’ve had a great week and business is improving. Nick bites his tongue as Leanne puts it down to her reality coding. A couple calls at the bistro with their daughter Anwen who joins Sam for a game of chess. Sam is delighted and Nick and Leanne are pleased to see him making new friends. When Leanne suggests that her reality coding is helping him too, Sam’s sceptical, but in a bid to keep the peace, offers to read up about the Altovalent Institute.
ELSEWHERE When Michael reveals that according to Adam she’s accepted her job back, Alya’s furious and spotting Adam across the street, heads over to demand answers. Alya spells out to Adam that he can stick his lousy job and storms off. As Adam watches her go, it’s clear he’s smitten.

TOYAH SEES RED ON THE REC Leanne facetimes Rowan to tell him about Toyah’s negativity towards the Institute and Rowan urges her to immediately distance herself from her sister. As Toyah searches the park for Freddie, she comes across three sleuths digging up a rose bed who reveal that they saw Freddie digging in the same place, so they reckon Roy may have buried Lauren’s body there. After hearing this, Toyah see’s red, picks up a shovel and smashes their car window whilst one of the sleuths film her on his phone. Nick arrives and persuades Toyah to put down the shovel as she bursts into tears. Having returned home, Toyah rails at an upset Sam for losing Freddie in the first place. The police call at Victoria Court looking for Toyah. Toyah calls in the flower shop and purchases a single yellow rose and when Joel asks who it’s for, Toyah says it’s for Leanne.

FREDDIE’S LED ASTRAY Sam calls at the café to collect Freddie, having promised Nina he’d walk him before school. As Sam heads out, unbeknown to him, a sleuth watches from a table in the corner. A distraught Sam returns without Freddie and explains that he ran off and Evelyn offers to mind the cafe whilst Nina and Toyah head out to look for him. In the cafe, Nina, Asha and Evelyn watch a video uploaded by the sleuths showing that they’ve taken Freddie hostage and to secure his safe return, Roy must confess to Lauren’s murder. What will they do next?

JOEL MAKES HIS MOVE Joel approaches Michael in the café and promises him that he’ll never lie to Dee-Dee again and hopes that one day they might get back together. In the solicitors, Joel thanks Dee-Dee for coming with him to meet his daughter and tries to kiss her. How will Dee-Dee respond?

EILEEN SMELLS A RAT Glenda calls at No.11 with some washing. When George reveals that he’s updating his will and would like Eileen to accept power of attorney, an offended Glenda storms out. A suspicious Eileen calls at the undertakers to find Todd there, plying George with tea and biscuits. Will George realise Todd’s hidden agenda?

ELSEWHERE In the shop, Aadi encourages Amy to apply for a student radio presenter job and suggests she could use it as a platform for her women’s charity work.

TOYAH’S SECRET IS REVEALED Nick desperately tries to keep the peace between Leanne and Toyah. When Joel asks Leanne if she liked her rose Toyah bought her, Leanne’s bemused and quizzes Toyah on it who makes out she binned it. Toyah remains adamant she was right to defend Roy’s reputation and to stop the sleuths from desecrating such a special place as Nick’s puzzled by her choice of words. When Nick returns home, he finds Toyah in tears as she reveals that at 19 she gave birth to a stillborn baby girl, she kept it a secret and she buried her in the exact same place in the park that she found the sleuths digging up. Toyah takes a deep breath and admits to Nick that the baby’s father was Phil Simmonds, the guy who raped her. Simon returns home and oblivious to the tension, tells Nick and Toyah that the police are digging up North Cross Park and Bobby reckons they’ve found a body. Will Toyah find herself in even more trouble?

ASHA GOES ON A MISSION FOR NINA’S BIRTHDAY In the café, Asha confides in Aadi that she’s had a response from the troll behind the video and she’s arranged to meet him in the precinct as Aadi offers to go with her. Evelyn calls at the cafe with some ‘Missing Freddie’ posters and a birthday card for Nina. Amy tells Aadi that the lady at the charity can no longer do the radio interview and asks him to do it instead. Roy phones the cafe to wish Nina a happy birthday and Nina makes out that Freddie is fine and assures him that Dee-Dee is doing everything to secure his release. When Aadi reveals that Amy’s charity worker had to pull out of the interview because of a crisis with a vulnerable family, Joel reluctantly offers to help. As Asha arrives at the precinct, there’s no sign of Aadi and she tries his mobile repeatedly. At No.1, Amy prepares to interview Aadi who fails to notice the missed calls from Asha. As Asha makes to leave, TrueMan67 and his sidekick, Banditman, reveal themselves and start asking awkward questions to a scared Asha. Is Asha in danger?

THE WRITING’S ON THE WILL In the undertakers, George files away a copy of his new will as an intrigued Todd watches on. As Todd reads through George’s will, Eileen catches him. When Todd reveals that George is leaving him the business, Eileen points out that he’d change his mind if he knew he’d gone behind his back. As Todd slips George’s will back in the file, he discovers a copy of Archie Shuttleworth’s will and quickly hides it inside his pocket. What has Todd discovered?

CARLA TELLS ROY THE TRUTH ABOUT THE LIE In his cell, Roy confides in the prison officer that new evidence has come to light and he’s hopeful he might be released. In the court, Dee-Dee makes the case for Roy’s bail application and describes how Bobby saw a man leaving Lauren’s flat who didn’t fit Roy’s description but the Judge refuses Roy’s bail application. Dee-Dee visits Roy in his cell and tells him not to give up hope and that the police are planning a reconstruction. Roy calls Carla from prison and asks her to come and see him as he needs to talk to her about Bobby’s statement. Has Roy caught onto Bobby’s lie?

LEANNE OPENS HER MIND TO ROWAN In the bistro, Leanne tells Nick that she feels betrayed and he should never have kept Toya’s secret from her. When Rowan arrives, Leanne immediately perks up. Rowan suggests to Leanne she should unburden herself of negativity and embark on some uploading. As Leanne tries to object, Rowan urges her to put herself first. Toyah calls in the bistro to find Nick run off his feet as Leanne is with Rowan so Toyah offers to help him out. As Leanne talks Rowan through all the bad things that have happened in her life, he listens intently and assures her that he’s by her side every step of the way.

STEVE WANTS TO HEAR FROM DEMI MORE In the café, Tim advises Steve to arrange a date with his online love interest, Demi, to check out that she really exists and she’s who she says she is. Fed up with Steve’s dithering, Tim grabs his phone off him and sends a message to Demi suggesting they go on a date.

WILL GEORGE DO THE RIGHT THING At No.11, Eileen packs the last of her things for Thailand and tells George that Todd found a copy of Archie’s will which states that Glenda is to have half the business. As George peruses his Dad’s will, Todd does his best to play down its importance. Will George tell Glenda the truth?

ELSEWHERE Amy tells Bernie that she got the gig as a student radio presenter but is short of a guest for her first live interview. As Bernie watches Paul telling amusing stories to Hannah, his PA, Bernie has an idea…

ROY PUSHES HIMSELF TO HIS LIMIT When Roy calls the cafe hoping to speak to Nina, Shona passes the phone to Carla and Carla hangs up, making out it was a dodgy line and hurries out. In his prison cell, Roy has another flashback of Lauren approaching the cafe counter with Max, but can’t work out what’s significant about their conversation. When a prison officer bangs on the door, a frustrated Roy loses his chain of thought. In the factory, Bobby tells Carla that he reckons Roy must have kept quiet about the false statement or the police would have come knocking by now. In the visiting room, Nina explains to the prison officer that she’s waiting for Roy Cropper and as the officer lets himself into Roy’s cell, he finds him collapsed on the floor.

PAUL SWEARS THAT HIS LIFE IS GETTING HARDER Billy helps Paul dress for his radio interview and assures him he’ll smash it. A cab arrives to take Paul and Bernie to the interview and it’s obvious the car isn’t big enough for Paul’s wheelchair. Paul is left furious as the driver is rude and dismissive. As Amy conducts her radio interview with Paul, he talks passionately about his MND and society’s lack of regard for disability in general, but gets carried away and swears live on air. Could this be the end of Amy’s radio presenting career?

STEVE FINALLY HAS SOME LUCK IN LOVE In the cab office, an upbeat Steve tells Tim that since he joined the new dating site Abi recommended, he’s had three matches. In the café, Steve shows Abi and Kevin a picture of Maggie, a potential date, and as Kevin makes sexist remarks, Abi storms out in a huff. A delighted Steve tells Tim that Maggie has agreed to meet him for lunch in the Bistro. Is Steve’s luck finally changing?

LEANNE PLANS TO EXPAND THE BISTRO Leanne tells Nick that thanks to Rowan, she’s had a great idea for the bistro and they should do pop-up stalls to broaden their market. At the mention of Rowan, Nick bristles. Nick reveals Leanne’s plans to expand the business and asks Toyah if she’d manage the bistro in the meantime but Nick’s left disappointed when Toyah turns him down.

BERNIE TELLS A FATAL LIE TO GET RID OF DENNY Paul, Billy and Gemma are blown away by the MND crowdfunder, sure it will make the council sit up and take notice about the possible centre closure. Meanwhile a man approaches Bernie outside the café, telling her he heard Paul on the radio and didn’t realise his son was dying. Bernie covers her shock and makes out Paul’s already dead and the interview was a recording. But disbelieving Denny follows her up to the flat where Gemma and Paul are shocked to see their Dad. When Denny remarks that Paul looks great for someone that’s supposedly dead, Bernie freezes in horror.

STEVE LEADS TIM INTO AN ADULTEROUS TRAP A nervous Steve meets up with internet date Carole in the Rovers, but he’s thrown to discover she’s brought three friends with her. Aurora invites Tim to join them and refuses to take no for an answer. When Sally calls at the pub and spots Tim with a drunken woman, giggling like a school boy, how will she react?

MARY PUSHES ROY TO REJIG HIS MEMORY Mary visits a desolate Roy in hospital. When Roy reveals that he keeps trying to remember the details of a conversation he overheard between Max and Lauren as he feels sure it’s of significance, Mary urges him not to give up as it’ll come to him eventually. When Nina reveals that the police are going to film a reconstruction in the café of Lauren’s last known movements, Amy offers to mention it on her radio show to raise awareness.

ELSEWHERE Rich and Alya arrive for their meeting with Adam. Adam’s taken aback to learn that Alya’s going to work in Dublin. Adam hands them a summary of the case, determined to impress Alya. Gary and Maria discuss private therapy for Liam, with Gary suggesting they sell the factory to fund it. Liam listens in deeply troubled.

DENNY LEAVES PAUL IN HIS TIME OF NEED Bernie lets off steam to Dev about Denny, secretly worried that Denny might blab about her past. Billy reminds Paul that Denny used to knock him about when he was a kid and he’s not to be trusted but when Paul invites Denny to watch a film, Billy reluctantly leaves them to it. Denny nips out for ice cream leaving Paul alone in the flat. He bumps into Gemma and begs her to let him meet his grandchildren. Alone in the flat, Paul has a coughing fit and struggles to breathe. He calls for an ambulance but when the operator answers, he drops the phone. Denny returns and is shocked to find Paul barely conscious. Meanwhile Dev finds Bernie rifling through a shoebox of old letters and photos. When Dev wonders what she’s looking for, Bernie’s uneasy.

ADAM AND ALYA GET DOWN TO BUSINESS As Adam and Alya work together on the joint case, they share a smile but then quickly look away. Finally Adam admits his feelings to Alya and the pair kiss, just as Rich calls at the office to find them in a clinch!

DEMI DIDN’T GHOST STEVE AFTER ALL A downbeat Steve tells Amy he’s had enough of dating apps, but he quickly changes his tune when he sees a message from Demi. As Steve prepares for his date he tells Amy that he’s convinced Demi’s the one. Steve meets up with Demi in the Rovers and they hit it off immediately.

ELSEWHERE Liam googles ways to deal with anxiety, searching diazepam. When Joseph arrives for the judo class, Liam’s glad of some company. Roy calls Dee-Dee from prison and tells her about Lauren’s necklace and how if they can trace where it’s from, they might be able to trace her mystery boyfriend.

LIAM STEALS PAUL’S SECRET STASH Liam and Joseph settle down to watch the film. When Joseph asks Liam if things have improved at school, Liam struggles to breathe and reaches for his inhaler. Joseph urges him to tell Maria about his panic attacks but Liam refuses as he doesn’t want to worry her. While Joseph keeps lookout, Liam rummages in the cupboards for sweets. He’s intrigued to find Paul’s stash of Benzo pills and puts them in his pocket. In the Rovers, Gary watches Sarah with concern as she knocks back the wine. When he spots her heading home with another bottle, he goes over. Liam returns home to find Gary not back. Feeling a panic attack coming on, he takes out Paul’s Benzo pills. Meanwhile Billy discovers the missing pills. When Joseph reveals that Liam was looking for sweets, Billy panics. Alone in the flat, Liam lies unconscious, the pill bottle next to him.

ROY HAS NO LUCK WITH THE NECKLACE Roy’s gutted when Dee-dee breaks the news that the police have had no luck tracing Lauren’s necklace and mystery boyfriend so they’re back to square one. Daniel tells Ken that he’s arranged to meet Nicky because as an ex se-worker as she may have news regarding Lauren. Ken warns him to be careful.

BERNIE CATCHES DENNY RED-HANDED Outside the flat, Bernie comes face to face with Denny, pushing Paul’s wheelchair. Denny makes out he’s taking it for a service but Bernie doesn’t believe a word and threatens to call the police.

ELSEWHERE Alya spells out to Adam that their kiss has ruined her career prospects. Rich meets up with Alya and confirms that the work placement in Dublin is still hers as Adam has assured him that any misunderstanding was entirely his fault. When Glenda tells a guilty George how she desperately wants to raise the money to buy the Little Big Shotz business off Estelle, he offers to help her apply for a bank loan. But as he looks over her accounts he realises there’s no way she’ll ever get a loan.

BETHANY’S PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HER Bobby, Max, Bethany and Beth gather in the precinct to watch the police reconstruction of Lauren’s last known movements. Bethany notices a crowd of people and is horrified to recognise Nathan amongst them. As she struggles to contain her emotions, Daniel finds Bethany at home clearly distressed. Bethany admits that she’s convinced she spotted Nathan at the precinct. Daniel assures Bethany that Nathan is in prison and it was her mind playing tricks. Nicky calls round and reveals that she’s off to meet a girl called Ellie who was groomed as a teenager and might have information about Lauren.

GARY IS CAUGHT ON CAMERA Maria explains to Billy and Paul how Liam has been having suicidal thoughts. Maria returns home to find Sarah and Gary looking shifty. She picks up some things and surreptitiously places a camera on the side. As Gary sees Sarah out, they hug and agree to keep their distance from now on. Maria watches them on her phone and her face darkens.

GLENDA LEARNS ABOUT THE WILL Glenda puts a proposition to Estelle, that she buys Little Big Shotz on credit and pays her back in instalments. Concerned, George scuppers the deal by saying she’d have no means to pay the monthly instalments. Glenda moans to Todd about George’s act of betrayal and Todd assumes she’s referring to Archie’s will. When Glenda demands to know what will, Todd realises his mistake.

ELSEWHERE As Adam chats to Alya, Yasmeen wonders if she’s going to miss him. When he hands her an expensive law book, wishing her well in Dublin, will Alya be able to bring herself to leave? Billy and Paul are despondent following their meeting with the council about the MND funding cuts, telling Bernie they need to look for other ways to fundraise.

BETHANY’S DISMAYED TO BE PROVEN RIGHT As Daniel continues insisting it’s her mind playing tricks on her, Bethany pauses the video of the police reconstruction and zooms in to show Daniel a close up of Nathan. In the police station, DS Swain confirms to Bethany that Nathan was released months ago. A furious Bethany urges her to haul him in for questioning, convinced he’s Lauren’s murderer. After doing some research and discovering that Nathan is working on a building site near the precinct, Bethany and Daniel track him down. As Nathan rounds the corner, he stops in his tracks. Bethany’s shocked to come face to face with her abuser. Bethany sees red and accuses Nathan of murdering Lauren.

GLENDA WON’T GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT Adam warns Glenda that suing George for half the business would be costly, there’s no guarantee she’d win and she’d be best to forget it. Glenda’s crushed and afterwards walks slap bang into Michael, spilling her drink down her front. When Rupert from Rest Easy calls at the undertakers and registers his interest in buying the business, George and Todd are furious to discover Glenda has put it up for sale.

BERNIE MAKES SURE PAUL’S NIGHT IS A SUCCESS Having kept up the karaokethon all night, Paul, Billy and Gemma are dead on their feet and tell Bernie that she’s done a great job. The weight of her guilty secret hanging over her, Bernie tells Gemma she’s sorry that she’s been such a rubbish mother. Gemma’s perplexed.

ELSEWHERE Gary’s hoping for a reconciliation, but Maria makes it clear that’s not on the cards. Gary’s gutted. A fraught Maria confides in Kirk how Liam has been for his first therapy session and she feels like the worst Mum in the world. As Leanne gulps back some pills, a worried Nick confides in Toyah that there’s £200 missing from the joint account. Toyah suspects Leanne’s spent it on her institute nonsense.

BERNIE EMBARKS ON A CHRISTIAN PILGRIMAGE Gemma realises Bernie’s been lying about her whereabouts and asks Dev to do some digging. Dev confronts Bernie, who crumbles, admitting she had another son, Zodiac (Zac for short), who was taken into care. He was later adopted, changed his name to Christopher Green and she’s determined to find him.

BETHANY DOES SOME DIGGING Dee-Dee takes a call from the CPS informing her that they have some news regarding Lauren’s phone messages. Dee-Dee tells Carla and Nina about the messages which have come to light. Bethany listens, her mind a whirl. She then inveigles her way into the solicitors and locates Lauren’s file on Dee-Dee’s desk.

TOYAH GETS THE DIRT ON MINDSET Toyah finds a forum for ex-members of the Altovalent Institute. She tries to show Leanne a post she’s seen, suggesting that the Institute is not to be trusted, only to discover it’s been taken down for legal reasons. Leanne’s dismissive but calls Rowan who makes out that his bitter ex wrote it and there’s no truth in her words. When Rowan reveals that he’s been promoted to head of the North-West division and offers her a tour of the Institute, Leanne’s flattered.

ELSEWHERE Steve reads an article about Weatherfield County’s plans to honour Tommy Orpington by commissioning a bust of him. Steve meets with Demi and proceeds to slag off Tommy. When Demi enquires why he hates him so much, Steve spills the beans about Tracy’s affair. George apologises to Glenda and hands her a cheque for £22k by way of a compromise, hoping it’s an end to their feud.

SOMEONE’S OUT TO GET NATHAN Bethany quizzes Craig about Nathan’s alibi. When Craig lets slip that Nathan was with his girlfriend and she works at a nail bar in town, Bethany points out that he was running a tanning salon when he groomed her. Sarah confides in Gary that she’s worried about Bethany as she’s become fixated on trying to pin Lauren’s murder on Nathan. As Daniel and Bethany head out, they’re shocked to be confronted by Nathan, who rails at Bethany for harassing his girlfriend. In the Rovers, David, Sarah and Gary discuss Nathan and agree that something has to be done before he ruins Bethany’s life all over again. On the building site, Nathan’s packing up as a hooded figure approaches and strikes him over the head. Nathan collapses unconscious.

TOYAH DIGS INTO ROWAN’S PAST Leanne explains to Simon that she met a guy called Jared at the Institute who’d be happy to help him set up his food delivery app. Toyah listens in. When Simon reveals that Jared’s agreed to meet him and he’ll need to borrow some money, Leanne’s delighted, but Toyah reckons it’s another scam. Toyah studies Rowan’s page and copies a number into her phone. Toyah meets with Rowan’s ex, Una and explains how her sister has become embroiled in the Institute and she’s worried she might be in danger. Will she get the confirmation she’s been fearing?

BERNIE FEARS SHE’LL NEVER FIND HER SON Bernie tells Dev that there’s one more Christopher Green on her list and she’s going to pay him a visit. But when she discovers he died of cancer, Bernie knocks back the drink, fearing she’s missed the chance to find her son.

ELSEWHERE A downcast Kevin admits to Debbie that work has dried up at the garage. Steve shows Tim some pics from Tracy’s socials of her paragliding over the Med with Tommy. Tim feels sorry for his mate.

THE NET CLOSES ON NATHAN’S ATTACKER As Bethany mulls over who Nathan’s attacker might be, Shona quizzes David about the stain on his jeans, not convinced by his story. David assures Bethany and Sarah he’s innocent but they’re interrupted by Shona brandishing the tracking app on David’s phone which proves he was at the building site when Nathan was attacked. David admits he witnessed the attack but wasn’t responsible, leaving Bethany convinced that Daniel is to blame. Will she be proved right?

LEANNE HAS HER MIND SET ON A RETREAT As Leanne leaves for the retreat, Toyah begs her to reconsider, but Leanne refuses. Simon’s hurt to find she’s gone without saying goodbye. Having bunked off work, Simon proceeds to get drunk, before throwing up in Tim’s cab and doing a runner without paying.

KEVIN SEARCHES THE WEB Max shows Kevin and Abi the mock-up of the new website and explains that if they want him to go ahead it will cost £1000. Kevin refuses to pay out. As Kevin later scans the Weathy County chat forum on Jack’s laptop, something catches his eye leaving him rattled.

ELSEWHERE When Tim reveals that Steve’s girlfriend, Demi, is an estate agent in Hale Barns, Sally’s in awe and immediately lifts the friendship ban. Sally’s thrilled when Steve invites her and Tim to join them for dinner.Paul has his last meal before having his feeding tube fitted tomorrow.

ABI GOES TO WAR OVER COREY’S DOCUMENTARY Abi switches on the TV to hear the presenter singing the praises of Corey Brent and his football prowess. Abi watches in horror as Kevin is forced to reveal that Corey is playing for his prison football team. Having watched the documentary, painting Corey as a hero, Abi’s incandescent. Abi and Nina call at the TV company responsible for the documentary and barge their way into the Producer’s office demanding answers.

BERNIE IS THE BIRTHDAY SURPRISE KIT NEVER WANTED An emotional Bernie confides in Dev that it would have been Zodiac’s birthday today. As she sets off for Paul’s feeding tube operation, Bernie finds her car being towed away. Spotting Kit nearby, Bernie’s convinced he’s to blame. Bernie calls at the police station with the intention of making a complaint. But when Craig and his colleagues emerge with a cake for Kit and wish him happy 31st birthday, Bernie reels in shock.

ROWAN HAS HIS EYE ON SIMON Simon’s hungover and admits he remembers little about the previous day. Nick and Toyah despair. Nick explains to Rowan how there was an incident involving Simon and he needs to speak to Leanne urgently but Rowan’s dismissive which angers Nick. Rowan suggests to Simon they chat as he knows what it’s like to drift through life without direction.

ELSEWHERE Maria confronts Gary over £10k missing from their bank account. Gary makes out that he had to buy a new boiler for the factory. Steve meets up with Demi and begs her for another chance. Steve tells Tim that he’d like to celebrate his 50th birthday at the local football exhibition.

ABI MAKES AN ENEMY OF DEAN As Nina and Abi check the Gazette website, taking comfort from the supportive comments, they’re pleased to see that a petition has been started demanding the documentary be scrapped. Dean calls at the garage and tells Abi that he’s hit a bad patch and needs her help. Abi sends him packing as Cassie watches on. In the office Tyrone opens an email and is horrified by its contents. He tells Abi he has some shocking news.

KIT’S KINDNESS GIVES BERNIE HOPE At the hospital, Billy’s about to reverse his car into a disabled parking bay when suddenly another car swoops in. Kit flashes his ID and forces the driver to move. Back at home Billy and Paul tell Bernie about Kit, the police officer, who came to their rescue. Bernie’s left quietly buoyed. Calling at the station she thanks Kit for the kindness he showed Paul, imploring him to give her a chance to explain her side of the story.

NICK GOES BEHIND SIMON’S BACK As Simon readies to leave for the retreat, Nick and Toyah do their best to talk him out of it. In desperation, Nick calls Peter. Toyah returns home to find Simon unpacking his bag, revealing that Peter has offered him a job on the yacht!

ROY GETS A JAILMATE Nina tells Stu she’s concerned for Roy as he won’t speak to anyone or leave his cell. When Roscoe, a fellow inmate, enters Roy’s cell, Roy’s frightened and leaps up, sending his chess board flying. A bemused Roscoe leaves him to it.

ABI TARGETS DEAN Abi’s horrified to see that the sex video has been uploaded to other websites. Cassie lets slip to Kevin how she saw Abi arguing with Dean the drug dealer shortly before the sex video was released and then overheard her arranging to meet him to hand over cash. Abi meets Dean and brandishing a wrench, accuses him of making the sex tape. Dean insists he has no idea what she’s talking about but a furious Abi doesn’t believe him. Kevin arrives and orders Abi to drop the wrench. As Dean is taken in for police questioning, Abi learns four more videos have been uploaded. But as she studies the footage Abi realises it’s not actually her, they’re all deep fakes!

GRIFF BUMPS INTO ROY Evelyn suggests to Roy they start a book club while he’s in prison. Roy’s pleased to have something to look forward to. Meanwhile Griff tells the guard it’s good to be back in Weatherfield nick!

A PHOTO LEAVES CARLA FEELING SEASICK Carla admits to Sarah that she misses Peter but when Simon shows her some pictures, Carla’s thrown to see one showing Peter with his arm around a woman.

ELSEWHERE Daniel takes a call from the STC to inform him that his ban has been lifted and he can return to work. Overhearing and aware Bethany’s having a hard time, Daisy calls at the flat with a bottle. Gemma tells Bernie that they need to get the house looking shipshape as Joseph is bringing his posh school friends round. But when Linda reveals she’s booked a table at the bistro to save her the stress, Gemma’s hurt.

● Sarah and Bethany report Nathan to the police for breaching the terms of his licence
when he drives his van past her, freaking her out.
● As Bethany threatens to leave Weatherfield again, Sarah pays Nathan a visit at the
building site, reminding him that he accepted £10k to leave town.
● When Nathan laughs in her face Sarah forms a plan and returns with a plastic bag
containing Lauren’s hair bobble, found in her things that she left at the Platts.
● Kit catches Sarah in the act, forcing her to admit she was planning to plant the hair
bobble in Nathan’s van to prove he murdered Lauren. Kit urges her to let the police
do their job.
● News spreads through the street that Nathan has been arrested.
● In Roy’s prison cell, the book he was reading lies soaked in tea with a broken spine.

an ear. Lisa explains her partner died and her daughter is struggling with her grief.
● DS Swain visits Roy in prison and asks him outright if his fallout with Carla has
anything to do with Bobby’s statement.
● After searching his van and discovering some USB sticks, Kit arrests Nathan on
suspicion of breaching his sexual harm prevention order.
● DS Swain arrests Bobby on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
● Swain warns Carla that Bobby’s lies aren’t helping anyone, least of all Roy.
● Hellbent on revenge, Griff enters Roy’s prison cell.

● With Joel present, DS Swain and Kit set about interviewing Nathan.
● Sarah confides in Bethany and Daniel how she planned to set Nathan up and now
he’s been arrested. Daniel’s incensed.
● When DS Swain reveals that the girl who provided him with an alibi for the night of
Lauren’s disappearance has changed her mind, Nathan’s rattled.
● As DS Swain questions him about his penchant for young girls and suggests he
murdered Lauren, Nathan refuses to comment.
● Dee-dee’s furious when Joel reveals that he’s representing Nathan.
● Daniel assures Bethany he would never grass up Sarah and his only hope is that
Nathan really is guilty, because if not, the real murderer will walk free.
● With Roy refusing to confess to murder, Griff holds the makeshift knife to his throat
and orders Roy to say his last words.
● We discover who really killed Lauren!

CRAIG GOES ON A WILD GOOSE CHASE. Joel tells Dee Dee he has booked a table at the bistro tomorrow, so she can meet his parents. He heads off to visit Nathan to discuss his plea. Bethany tells Craig about Ellie, how Nathan used to abuse her too and she can provide him with Ellie’s address. Craig calls at Ellie’s lodgings only to be told by her flatmate that she’s moved out and she appeared frightened about something. Dee-Dee lets slip to Adam how Bobby stitched up Daniel by giving the police a false statement and Carla went along with it. The Barlows gather in the Rovers where Adam reveals that Bobby gave the police a false statement, causing Daniel to become a prime suspect in Lauren’s murder investigation. How will the family react?

ABI ATTRACTS UNWANTED ATTENTION A tearful Abi confides in Kevin that her online troll has reposted one of the deep fake videos. Craig calls at the garage and admits to Abi and Kevin that they’re no nearer to knowing who posted the fake videos and she might be best to hire a lawyer. After two lads call at the garage and make lewd remarks Abi is in despair about the fact that someone is trying to ruin her life. Nina suggests they try the online management company Dev contacted for Asha.

LEANNE AND SIMON ARE LIKE SHIPS IN THE NIGHT Leanne finally returns from the retreat and explains that her workshop overran so she stayed an extra night. When Simon reveals that he’s leaving to join Peter on his yacht, Leanne’s furious that nobody bothered to consult her about it. Nick assures her he left a message with Rowan which he obviously failed to pass on. Leanne flies off the handle and accuses Nick of conspiring with Toyah behind her back. After waving off her son Leanne chats to someone on her laptop, telling them how Simon’s gone, she’s all alone and she wishes she could be with them.

JOEL HAS A PROPOSAL FOR DEE-DEE Dee-Dee admits to Joel she’s nervous about meeting his parents. Joel warns her they can be a bit stand-offish but they’ll love her once they get to know her. It is an uphill battle with Joel’s parents Anthea and Gus, who make their disapproval of Dee Dee clear. Ed calls in the bistro and Dee-Dee introduces him to Joel’s parents. Anthea’s disdain is evident and when she makes a patronising remark, Dee-Dee storms out. She is stunned when Joel calls at the corner shop flat and after apologising for his Mum’s behaviour, drops on one knee and asks Dee-Dee to marry him. What will she say?

TOYAH MAKES UP HER MINDSET Bethany reveals to Toyah that a colleague of hers once tried to write an exposé about the Institute but was met by a wall of silence. Rowan calls at the flat and Leanne hugs him. When Rowan shows her Toyah’s negative posts about the Institute, Leanne’s incensed. In the bistro, Toyah receives a hand delivered letter. She’s shocked to discover that the Institute is suing her for defamation and taking out an injunction. Will she drop her campaign against the Institute? Nick tries to make Leanne see that Toyah is trying to protect her from a corrupt organisation run by a madman. Leanne refuses to listen and as Nick heads out, she opens her laptop, smiles at the person on the screen and tells them she loves them.

PEACE OF MIND COMES AT A STEEP PRICE FOR ABI When the twins adopted mother cancels their visit to see Abi she realises she needs to try and get the videos taken down. When Kevin and Abi find out that the online management company will charge £5k per month to remove the videos, they despair, knowing it’s unaffordable.

MICHAEL IS GLENDA’S CHEERLEADER When George enquires how her purchase of Little Big Shotz is going, Glenda’s evasive and admits to Michael that George is still unaware that she’s suing him over the will. When George tells Glenda he is sending some money over to Eileen as Jason’s medical insurance has run out she feels guilty knowing George is a good man.

Glenda confides in Michael that she feels bad about suing George. When Michael reminds her that her Dad wanted her to have half the business, Glenda’s grateful for his support.

ELSEWHERE In the café, Ken gives Carla and Bobby short shrift and makes it clear he’s deeply unimpressed by their treatment of Daniel. Carla feels terrible. A sheepish Bobby tells Carla it’s best if he moves out as he’s caused nothing but trouble. Carla agrees and a crestfallen Bobby heads to his bedroom to pack his things.

NICK FEARS LEANNE IS OUT OF HER MINDSET A shocked Toyah finds Leanne telling someone on her laptop screen that she loves them and reckons it is Rowan, but Leanne denies it. Nick is shocked when Toyah tells him what she heard and heads straight home where he finds Rowan and Leanne holding hands on the sofa. Will Leanne have an explanation? Toyah begs Leanne to open her eyes and see Rowan for what he really is but they are interrupted when the police arrive and Kit arrests Toyah for murder after the body of a baby was found buried in the park.

GEORGE RECEIVES A LITTLE BIG SHOCKZ WHILST GLENDA GETS A SMACKER Dee Dee tells Glenda she also has a claim on half of George’s house. As George tries to impress a potentially lucrative client Dee Dee delivers the letter detailing Glenda’s claim for half his business and house. When a furious George storms into the pub and lambasts Glenda she sticks to her guns and says she will see him in court. Glenda confides in Michael that George was their Dad’s favourite and she was second fiddle. Michael assures her that she’s kind, funny and smart and pulls her in for a kiss.

BETHANY IS A VICTIM OF FRAUD Having finally got her mail redirected from London Bethany is furious to discover someone has been fraudulently using her old company credit card. Daisy advises her to obtain copies of the statements in a bid to prove she couldn’t have made the purchases. Bethany seeks advice from Joel.

ELSEWHERE Yasmeen confides in Ken that Stu seems rather down and she’d be grateful if he would join them for birthday drinks.Tyrone tears a strip off Cassie for trying to cause friction between Kevin and Abi and suggests that if she wants her job back, she’d better apologise. Will she do the right thing?

TOYAH REALISES BLOOD ISN’T THICKER THAN WATER At the bistro Toyah is horrified to get a delivery of yellow roses, explaining the significance she tells Nick it had to be Rowan who reported her to the police. A furious Toyah confronts Leanne with the roses and shows her the card. Leanne admits she told Rowan. Nick returns home and spells out to Leanne that either she cuts all ties with Rowan and the Institute or they’re finished. What will she do?

GEORGE AND GLENDA PREPARE TO MEDIATE After spending the night together, Glenda ushers Michael out of the back door of the pub. Dee Dee tells George a mediator would save them both money. Mary repeats the advice to Glenda and Debbie offers to do it. How will, it go? Meanwhile Glenda bumps into Michael in the ginnel and kissing him on the lips, takes him by the hand and leads him into the Rovers.

WILL BOBBY COME TO KEN’S RESCUE At Stu’s birthday drinks Bobby apologises to Ken for getting Daniel into trouble. Bobby notices Ken is unsteady on his feet. Not feeling too well Ken heads home. Concerned Bobby knocks on Ken’s door but when there’s no reply, he peers through the letterbox and is shocked to see Ken lying at the bottom of the stairs. Bobby calls an ambulance. Is Ken ok? Bobby returns home to collect his things.

ELSEWHERE Lisa calls at the factory and asks Carla if they can fix a date for her daughter’s work experience. Paul and Billy attend an appointment with the MND nurse who tells them that as his weakened neck muscles get worse he won’t be able to use his stair lift.

Abi refuses to throw in the towel and tells Kevin that they need to find a computer whizz who can trace the troll’s real IP address. Will Max be able to help?

TOYAH PREPARES FOR HER DAY IN COURT When Leanne returns a guilty Nick quizzes her about Rowan, angry Leanne assures him she would never cheat on him. Nick and Toyah agree their kiss was a mistake. Rowan calls at the bistro on his motorbike and handing a spare helmet to Leanne, tells her he’s got a surprise for her. Leanne follows him out leaving Nick and Toyah to cope with the lunchtime rush on their own. Nick’s fuming whilst Toyah’s incredulous. At a hotel restaurant Rowan introduces Leanne to Willow the CEO of the institute over video call. He then tells a flattered Leanne she will soon be able to recruit new members herself. As Toyah sets off for her Institute court case, she receives a call which shocks her. An ashen-faced Toyah hurries into A&E and tells the nurse on the desk that she had a call to inform her that her sister, Leanne, has been involved in a motorbike accident.

The police inform Toyah that they can now release her baby for burial. Toyah’s stunned.

A RIDE COMES BEFORE A FALL FOR PAUL At the flower shop flat, the Eyegaze specialist teaches Paul how to use his new equipment. Summer returns from America and reveals that she’s got a new boyfriend, Felix, and he’s waiting to meet them in the Rovers. Billy and Paul are about to leave the flat when Paul falls down the stairs. As Paul recovers, Todd turns up and Summer arrives with Felix. How will the meeting go?

KEN’S LOSING HIS INDEPENDENCE Cassie asks Steve about a job on the switch at Streetcars but Steve makes it clear her reputation precedes her and refuses. Daniel and Steve visit Ken in hospital. Ken is dismayed to discover he will need round the clock care whilst he recovers. Steve visits Ken and assures him that the family will pull together and make sure he receives the care he needs to keep him safe in his own home. Ken forces a smile.

MICHAEL AND GLENDA GO STEADY When Glenda reveals that RestEasy are keen to buy Shuttleworths, George is apoplectic. Michael calls at the Rovers to find George rowing with Glenda. Michael steps in and announces that he and Glenda are now an item and he should show her more respect. Glenda parks herself next to a nervous Michael and pulling him in for a kiss, assures him she feels the same way. Michael’s thrilled.

ELSEWHERE Abi and Kevin are delighted to read in the Gazette that the documentary about Corey’s prison football team has been cancelled. Having taken a call from Max, Kevin breaks the news to Abi that there’s no way of tracing the person uploading the videos. A dejected Abi tells him she’s past caring.

NICK GOES FOR THE SISTER FROM ANOTHER MISTER Leanne announces that she’s paying for Rose’s funeral out of her savings. Outside the undertakers, George place’s Rose’s coffin in the hearse. Having spotted Rowan watching from Victoria Garden, a furious Toyah races over and, giving him a shove, orders him to stay away as he’s not welcome. Leanne watches with horror. The funeral over Leanne admits that she hasn’t any savings and Rowan paid for the funeral, how will Toyah react? Leanne heads off leaving Nick in total despair. Toyah confronts Rowan and tells him that she’s going to do everything she can to expose him for the vile man he really is. Rowan’s shaken. Toyah returns home to find Nick alone. Nick apologises for Leanne’s behaviour and Toyah breaks down. Nick takes her in his arms and they kiss passionately, unaware that from the derelict builder’s yard, a man is watching them intently. Leanne meets up with Rowan for an upload session. Having enjoyed an afternoon of sex, Nick and Toyah agree that it mustn’t happen again and they should stay out of each other’s way as much as possible.

PAUL MAKES HIS FEELINGS CLEAR Summer and Felix call at the flat in time to hear Paul playing a derogatory message about Felix on his Eyegaze. As Billy and Todd desperately look for the mute button, Felix heads out and Summer’s mortified.

BETHANY’S ASKED TO WRITE A WRONG FOR ABI Bethany returns home from her interview and tells Sarah that she got the job but she’s dreading her first assignment. Bethany calls at the garage and tells Abi that she got the job at the magazine but the first article they want her to write is in support of Corey Brent. Abi’s horrified.

CASSIE SHOWS HER CARING SIDE In the Rovers, Steve, Amy and Daniel discuss care package options for Ken and wonder how on earth they’re going to fund them. Cassie listens with interest. Cassie offers to be Ken’s carer for a quarter the price of a professional. Daniel and Amy reckon it’s a good idea and Steve reluctantly agrees. Cassie’s thrilled.

ELSEWHERE Chesney and Gemma tell Bernie that the boiler is beyond repair and they’re waiting for the landlord to fit a new one. The landlord calls at No.5 and insists he wants a second opinion on the boiler.

ABI BELIEVES STEFAN IS THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN Abi tells Kevin that she’s done some digging, Stefan Brent is a board director of the production company that made the documentary, he also owns the magazine and he must have created the deep fake videos out of revenge. Having reported Stefan to the police, Abi and Kevin watch as DS Swain drags him into an interview room, fervently hoping that their nightmare will soon be over. Bethany calls at the garage and tells Abi that she’ll quit her job if it’s what she wants, but it could be useful to have someone on the inside to keep tabs on Stefan. Kevin calls on Bethany and tells her that if she really wants to help, she can lend him her security pass to Stefan’s offices. Bethany reluctantly hands it over.

CASSIE CARES ABOUT KEN Steve makes out to Ken that Cassie’s a qualified carer and they hired her through an agency, Cassie starts work at No.1, but when she reveals that she’s had no training and only stepped in to help out and save the family a bit of cash, Ken’s quietly furious. Can Cassie persuade Ken to let her do the job? Cassie sets Ken straight, explaining that she was honest with Steve from the off and never pretended to have any qualifications, will she win him round?

ROWAN HAS TOYAH CORNERED Toyah tells Nick that they’ve little choice but to come clean to Leanne about their brief affair. A smug Rowan is holding a meeting in the Bistro much to Nick and Toyah’s dismay. Rowan corners Toyah and hands her a copy of the NDA, suggesting she signs it. When Toyah makes it clear she won’t be blackmailed and she intends to come clean, Rowan points out that it’ll destroy Leanne but he’ll be happy to pick up the pieces. Toyah’s sickened. Will Toyah tell Leanne? Rowan makes a speech and announces that Leanne has been promoted to level 5 and he couldn’t be more proud of her. The members clap and Leanne basks in the glory. Nick and Toyah watch in disgust.

ELSEWHERE Gemma resolves to chase the landlord again over the new boiler. Having had no luck with the landlord, Chesney tells Gemma that he’ll look into installing an electric shower as they’re far cheaper than a boiler.

Having seen Felix off at the airport, Summer admits to Paul she was upset to see him go.

The occupational therapist calls at the flat and after quizzing Paul about his fall, suggests that it might be time to stop using the stairlift.

KEVIN’S DEEP FAKE IS FAKE When Abi asks Kevin about him getting up in the night he puts it down to stress but later calls into the salon with a stolen mobile phone and asks Max if he can hack into it. When Tyrone opens an email to find a video of Kevin breaking into Stefan’s office Kev assures him it is another deep fake video. Bethany sees Max with the phone she realises Kevin stole it and tells him not to drag her family into the situation. When Kevin turns up at Stefan’s office Stefan says his video footage of Kevin breaking and entering could land him in jail. Meanwhile Abi is shocked when she overhears Tyrone telling Craig thay kevin has been the victim of a deep fake video. Kevin returns to No.13 to find Abi and Craig waiting will he report Stefan?

THE WINTER-BROWNS SIT UP AND TAKE NOTICE Dee Dee informs Gemma that her landlord could be fined for failing to carry out essential repairs to No.5’s boiler if she reported him. Will her advice work? As Joseph is dropped home by his school friend Olly’s posh mum, Chesney’s gutted to realise Joseph has made out he runs a successful catering empire.

CASSIE’S JOB HAS ITS HIGHS AND LOWS When Cassie arrives for work at No.1, Steve relishes informing her that her first task is to cut Ken’s toenails. Cassie swallows her disgust. Enjoying Cassie’s company, Ken suggests they go out for a spot of lunch. Amy is amused at how much Cassie gets under her dad’s skin. Amy suggests to Steve that there’s a spark between him and Cassie and he’s in denial about his attraction to her. Steve firmly denies it and Amy hides her amusement.

ELSEWHERE Joel confides in Dee-Dee his sadness at keeping their engagement from his parents. Joel spots Sabrina in a state of distress outside the police station and learns her brother has been arrested. Joel hands her his business card and tells her to give him a call. As Sabrina’s friend joins her, Joel heads inside, pleased to have found a new target.

A police officer visits Toyah to inform her she will face no charges for burying her baby. Toyah feels like a weight has been lifted.

GEMMA CAN’T AFFORD TO SEE HER CHILD IN PAIN Gemma’s day goes from bad to worse. Carys desperately needs new shoes, she gets a £70 parking fine in the post. She takes Carys to the shoe shop to get her feet measured but the shoes are £45, Gemma is gutted. While the assistant’s distracted, Gemma grabs Carys’s hand and they flee the shop without paying. When Bernie sees the shoes she asks how Gemma afforded them, will Gemma come clean? Chesney is serving up kebabs for Joseph’s delighted school mates who are around for dinner but she gets a shock when she sees one of the dads who has come to collect his son.

STEFAN CALLS KEVIN’S BLUFF Kevin confides in Tyrone that Stefan has agreed to pay to take down the deep fake videos. But Stefan tells Kevin that the deal is off as he’s not willing to pay the £60k per year to take the videos down. How will Kevin react?

JOEL’S PARENTS ARE DIS-ENGAGED Dee-Dee and Ed meet up with Anthea and Gus for lunch in the bistro. Anthea apologises for their earlier behaviour and Dee-Dee’s pleasantly surprised. When Amy lets slip that Joel and Dee-Dee are engaged, Anthea and Gus are taken aback. Sabrina’s mate reckons Joel’s a creep and she should steer well clear. Sabrina realises she’s been naive.

ELSEWHERE Tim puts pressure on Steve to agree to a night out to celebrate his fiftieth. Sally shows Tim an invitation to the unveiling of Tommy O’s bronze bust at the County ground. Tim’s gutted to realise it clashes with Steve’s fiftieth. When Tim tells Steve he can no longer go on the night out with him Steve assumes a surprise party is being planned.

George finds Glenda and Michael in the café and suggests they bury the hatchet and meet for a drink later. Will Glenda agree?

GEMMA’S PROBLEMS NEED A REPAIR KIT Kit is shocked to see Gemma being brought into the police station having been arrested for stealing the shoes. Bernie begs Kit to do what he can to secure Gemma’s release. Kit calls at the shoe shop and explains to Bruce that he’s here about the shoplifting incident, can he get Gemma off. Gemma is intrigued to know why Kit wanted to help her and introduces him to Chesney and the kids. Whilst there Kit gets a shocking call from his dad.

BUSINESS GETS IN THE WAY OF PLEASURE FOR JOEL Whilst Dee-Dee gets ready for their engagement lunch, Joel furtively takes a call from Sabrina’s mate, telling him he has to meet her or he’ll regret it. What do they want?

GLENDA DIVIDES AND CONQUERS When Glenda bangs on about the situation with George and how she wants what’s rightfully hers, Michael’s disapproval is evident and Glenda senses he’s cooling towards her. Glenda calls at the undertakers and suggests to George that if he gives her his house she will drop the case. Will she agree?

ELSEWHERE Sally calls at the cab office and tells Tim she’s off into town to buy a new outfit for tomorrow. Steve listens, more convinced than ever that Tim’s planning a surprise party for him. When Amy reveals that Tracy’s cancelled her visit and she’s staying in Spain, Steve’s secretly gutted, his plans to win her back, up in smoke. In the Rovers, Steve quizzes Cassie, Kevin and Tyrone about his surprise party. They deny all knowledge and Steve smiles to himself, convinced they’re bluffing. Abi explains to Kevin that she needs to get away for a few days and she’s going to stay with Lynsey and the twins. As Abi heads out, Kevin does his best to remain positive.
