Losing a character in a soap is seldom an easy watch – more so when you write out a character after more than 20 years on screen. For Rownd a Rownd tonight funeral scenes aired as Glanrafon said goodbye Kelvin.

Kelvin actor Kevin Williams admitted to us, ‘I look forward to continuing to watch Rownd a Rownd without knowing what any of the stories will be.’
Long time fans have seen Kelvin growing up on screen with Kevin stating ‘I started on Rownd a Rownd when I was 10 years old and I’m nearly 39 now. I remember Mum and Nain phoning the school to say that they had news for me. They told the headmaster, and he announced it in front of everyone. I’m sure that I was quite happy at the time, but I didn’t know for how long I would act as Kelvin.’

The funeral gave family a chance to say goodbye but scenes that followed proved that drama can kick off at any point. When Kay discovered who put on the spread of food at the wake she was raging and made her feelings known.
