This Week in the Soaps: Neighbours, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Rownd a Rownd, Fair City, River City and Ros na Rún

This week in the soaps sees big developments across EastEnders, Emmerdale, and the rest of your favourite dramas. Not one but two Emmerdale standalone special episodes, stabbing horror on EastEnders, trouble in Corrie, and down in Rownd a Rownd, the loss of Kelvin is felt and cracks are showing.

Coronation Street

David clashes with Kit and misses Shona’s scan, only to learn their baby may have a tumour. Carla warns Lisa about Becky’s lies, while Fiz reaches breaking point at work. Shona and David face devastating news in an emotional episode. Will hides secrets from his family, and Tim faces trouble at home. Gary may have a lifeline for Theo as Kevin spirals.

Neighbours

Taye risks his job at the V Bar when he helps Sadie search for missing Holly. Holly admits her pregnancy to Andrew and Wendy, while Cara and Felix discover Greg is alive. Andrew’s confession shatters Wendy and Sadie, and Max is left heartbroken. Jane and Clint grow close, Greg is arrested, and Andrew suspended. Susan warns him to stay away from Holly.

EastEnders

Ravi returns to the Square but gets a cold reception from Jack. Priya accuses Harry of lying to the police, while Kojo blames himself for what’s happened. Okie threatens Kojo, and a fight ends with Harry accidentally stabbing him. Nicola hides the truth, and George clashes with Junior before he leaves for Dubai. Vicki breaks down after helping someone in trouble, and Zoe impresses Alfie at The Vic.

Emmerdale

A standalone episode explores Bear’s struggles since leaving the village, revealing his slide into hard times and an uncontrollable situation. Charity fears Ross is getting too close to Mack, and Mandy vows to help Paddy find Bear. Another special sees Robert open up about his time in prison. Later, Eve thinks she’s spotted Bear in the fields and becomes convinced he’s back.

Rownd a Rownd

Still grieving Kelvin, Ken and Kay get help from Arthur and Vince in their own ways. Mel meets someone offering support but isn’t sure whether to accept. As Lowri and her family head south for her medical trial, the village rallies round to help. Later, Kay grows frustrated, Mel fumes over a botched van sale, and Sophie notices Britney hiding something suspicious at the café.

River City

Elsewhere this week in the soaps, Gillian and Roisin are horrified by Mikey’s plans to report Jonathon missing, and their desperate attempts to stop him fail until a mysterious text message surfaces. Chris tries to help Bob find love but lands in trouble with Kelly-Marie. Lenny still feels betrayed by Alex joining the Foulkes, while Lydia fears their fallout will set him back. Later in the week, Bob nervously prepares for a singles’ night after a pep talk from Angus. Viv’s scheming pushes Harry away, and she resorts to desperate measures to win him over, while Roisin struggles with how close Mikey came to reporting Jonathon missing.

Fair City

Mondo’s paranoia and temper spiral, causing chaos at Comet and in The Station. Kira tries to support him as gossip spreads. Pete and Dolores renew their vows after a rocky patch, while JJ and Steo reconcile after misunderstanding each other. Later, Mondo faces the “murderer” graffiti and promises to be better. Carol celebrates a clean bill of health, and JJ’s shady dealings with Nathan threaten to undo it all.

Ros na Rún

Things go from bad to worse for Tadhg when a search warrant lets Detective Ken turn his house upside down, uncovering a hidden stash of money. Tadhg becomes convinced Ken is playing mind games with him. Meanwhile, Mícheál finally loses patience with John Joe’s constant antics and starts plotting petty ways to get his own back. Later in the week, Réailtín hatches a plan to get John Joe fired, while Ken keeps the pressure on Tadhg but grows suspicious of Sonny’s sudden offer to help.
