Charity’s alarmed that Ross is inveigling himself further into her family’s life by befriending Mack. She’s later panicked when a tipsy Mack says that he and Ross tell each other everything.
Paddy prepares to make a statement to the police about Bear’s disappearance. Swirling listens to Paddy’s concern but assures him Bear’s not at any immediate risk. Frustrated that the police won’t do more to find Bear, Mandy vows to help Paddy instead.

Matty takes the kids Isaac and Eve for a walk and they decide to play a game of Bear hunt. As Eve looks across the field she spots something and soon an excited Eve is determined as she shouts out to Matty how she’s seen Bear. Meanwhile with very little evidence from the car hire company Bear used. Paddy feels his dad deliberately has chosen to leave his family behind him. As Matty tries to console Eve, Matty apologises to Paddy and Mandy for confusing her with a Bear hunt game. But could Eve have seen her grandpa?
