EastEnders next week Vicki struggles to cope after hearing that Joel is pleading not guilty, while Suki and Eve are nervous ahead of their adoption assessment. Zack is there to comfort Vicki when things spiral out of control, and Alfie grows increasingly suspicious of Zoe.

1. Vicki lashes out with tragic results

At The Vic quiz night, Vicki’s temper flares when she catches Damon on the phone to his wife. Exposing him as a cheat causes chaos, and later a furious Vicki shoves him – sending Damon crashing to the ground.

2. Suki and Eve’s adoption meeting explodes

Suki and Eve are nervous ahead of the adoption assessment and try to broker peace between Ravi and the family. At No. 41, things are going well until Priya storms in shouting the odds about Ravi. Suki and Eve are horrified as assessor Robin overhears it all.

3. Zack and Vicki’s kiss stuns Kathy

Zack comforts Vicki when she explains how much Joel’s attack has affected her. During a heart-to-heart, Zack and Vicki kiss just as Kathy walks in. Kathy’s shocked as Vicki and Zack insist it was a moment of madness and Sharon doesn’t need to know.

4. Zoe, Alfie and a sinister threat

Alfie continues to be suspicious of Zoe, believing she’s the one behind all the attacks against her. However, Kat tries to defend Zoe as Alfie demands she must leave. Later, Alfie apologises to Zoe for doubting her and they find an earring in the barrel store, which Zoe is convinced must belong to her tormentor.

5. Ravi’s brutal return shocks the Panesars

Eve tells Suki they can’t have Ravi in the house if they adopt and they agree to ask him to leave. Ravi accepts their decision, but things go from bad to worse when a group of men arrive at the door and take him away. Later, A badly beaten Ravi returns. Suki and Eve are relieved when the assessor confirms they are through to the next stage of the adoption process.
