Emmerdale next week and the theme is Elvis – We can’t go on together. With suspicious minds…

1. Bear confronts Ray after learning what happened to Anya
Bear is distraught when Mick and Simo reveal Ray has dumped Anya’s body in the feed shed. Bear confronts Ray over how he treated Anya’s body and, blind with rage and grief, Bear’s anger builds to boiling point and he walls Ray up. Ray manages to talk Bear round but is worried after he insists on coming to Anya’s funeral.
When Ray tells Celia about Bear’s insistence on having a funeral for Anya, she formulates a plan. That evening, Celia reveals the makeshift funeral to Bear and Ray in one of Butler’s fields. Initially put out by the lack of formality, Bear is shocked to realise he and Ray are expected to dig Anya’s grave. A while later, with Anya now in her makeshift grave, Bear makes a speech. Celia watches on, devoid of emotion.
Mick and Simo continue to try and convince brainwashed Bear that Ray’s lying to him. They tell him about their plans to escape. As he stares at a photo of Anya’s daughter and has thoughts of Paddy, Bear is torn, unsure whether to join the planned escape or stay with Ray.

2. Police arrive at the depot as Ray looks for his rat
Dylan and Billy are shocked to find the police arrive at the depot to investigate reports of drugs being moved through the premises. Completely baffled by the investigation, Jai suggests the police speak to Caleb directly. Ray tells Dylan to put a pause on operations until the heat dies down. Ray approaches April and Dylan and reminds them he’s looking for their rat.

3. Lydia’s special day takes an unexpected turn
Lydia tells Sam how she was saving spare change for tickets to a concert but worries she hasn’t collected enough in time. Counting Lydia’s change, Belle and Sam are delighted when they secretly round it up to the amount needed for the concert tickets but when Belle and Sam fail to get tickets Belle formulates a new plan.
Later that day, blindfolded Lydia is led into the Dingles by Mandy and Belle. When the blindfold comes off, she sees Sam and a makeshift Jason Donovan VIP Experience. Touched, Lydia’s delighted by her thoughtful surprise.
As the karaoke party gets into full swing, Lydia is about to start a solo number when the power goes. As Sam tries to get the power back on, it quickly becomes clear that they’ve got a real problem on their hands. Sam and Lydia are gobsmacked when Noah quotes the cost of rewiring and Lydia gives him her ticket fund.
Belle gets her hands on some tickets for Lydia unaware of the rewiring situation. Sam has a lightbulb moment on how to raise the cash and enlists Belle’s help.

4. Robert and Aaron move against Kev
Robert subtly tries to glean where Kev hid his loot from last week’s robbery. Robert’s shaken however when Kev reiterates he doesn’t like being lied to and begins to worry that he’s on to them. Robert and Aaron grimly reflect on the likeliness of finding Kev’s stolen loot.
Liam’s stressed when Kev arrives unexpectedly and forces him to agree to back up his lie to Robert by pretending his heart condition was a misdiagnosis. Robert and Aaron try to explain their plan to get Kev out of their lives for good. Chas eventually agrees to help them but the trio are interrupted by a suspicious Liam.
Liam’s brought up to speed on the plan but it quickly becomes clear he’s holding something back. When pressed for answers, Liam caves and reveals Kev was never terminally ill. Reeling from Liam’s revelation, Aaron and Robert decide their plan is still the best way to get Kev out of their lives. Reluctantly agreeing, Chas and Liam allow the pair to follow through with their mission.
Later that day, shady Kev checks he’s alone in the church before pulling out a holdall with his loot in. Secretly watching the whole thing, Aaron makes a call to Robert, determined to put Kev away for good. DS Carter takes Kev to the station for questioning about the armed robbery.

5. Celia makes moves, and Nicola grows suspicious
Celia moans to Moira about Kim’s visit yesterday and produces a new contract. Unaware of her machinations, Moira signs away. With Nicola’s encouragement, Laurel begins to get excited about her date with Ray. Nicola does some cyber snooping on Ray but is suspicious to find almost no trace of him online.
