Corrie is set to air a special flashback episode and this time we get a glimpse of Maggie’s earlier life. Elsewhere, more Swarla drama and Lauren is uneasy by what she spots.

Monday 8th December
MAGGIE’S BIRTHDAY TURNS BACK TIME AS HER TRUE COLOURS ARE REVEALED…In this special flashback episode which focuses on Maggie’s birthday we see tensions flaring in the Rovers and learn there’s more to this family dynamic than meets the eye as we get a glimpse of Maggie’s earlier life and how the matriarchal mother-in-law from hell came to be.
Eva’s made her dislike of Maggie quite clear, and with the feelings seemingly mutual, the audience will be left wondering if Eva needs to watch her back. What is Maggie really capable of?
Wednesday 10th December
BECKY HAS CARLA RIGHT WHERE SHE WANTS HER Kit visits Costello in hospital and is intrigued to find out from his wife that he had planned to retire to the Lakes in September. Kit tells Lisa and Becky that it seems odd that Costello had never mentioned it. Lisa agrees whilst Kit clocks Becky’s discomfort. Kit tells Carla how he suspects Costello and Becky are in it together.
A despondent Carla pours herself a drink, pointing out they have no proof of anything. Kit tells Becky that Carla’s in the factory knocking back scotch and Lisa should go and check on her. Becky promises to pass on the message. As Carla pours herself another drink, Becky enters the office and closes the door behind her.
LAUREN SPIES A MOMENT BETWEEN WILL AND MEGAN Eva forces Will to apologise to Lauren for trying to kiss her. Lauren assures him it’s water under the bridge. But as he meets up with Megan in the precinct, telling her how sorry he is for the kiss, Lauren watches them from afar, with a sense of unease.
DEBBIE HAS DOUBLE TROUBLE An upset Debbie confides in Carl and Abi that she’s made a mistake and accidentally booked the wedding venue for 2027 instead of 2026. Knowing she may be too poorly by then, Carl and Abi promise to help find another venue. Debbie’s made up when they reveal they’ve booked Monkton Hall as they’d had a cancellation in 3 weeks time.
ELSEWHERE When Joanie reveals that she’s invited some friends round for a Christmas party, Sally and Tim go all out for her with a buffet. A loved up George and Christina discuss the situation with Todd. Christina tells George that it’s obvious he misses him and should try and patch things up.
Friday 12th December
CARLA CAN’T GET BECKY OUT OF HER HEAD Costello’s wife calls at the station for his personal effects. When she shows Kit a photo of the house they bought in Coniston, Kit makes a note of its name, ‘Ravensgill’. After conducting some research he leaves a message for Carla informing her that the house was bought by a company set up exactly a week after Becky supposedly died. Carla calls at No.6 and tells Lisa that she’s home and should never have left. Carla tells Lisa she never stopped loving her. Lisa admits she loves her too but asserts that it’s too late, it’s over between them. Carla’s devastated.
DEBBIE’S A ROSE BETWEEN TWO THORNS When Debbie reveals her intention to invite Carl and Abi to the wedding, Ronnie reckons she’s making a mistake and Kevin will refuse to attend. Having heard her plan, Kevin thrusts the invitation back at her.
TYRONE’S PAIN IS CARL’S GAIN Carl appears supportive as Tyrone bemoans the fact that the police are no nearer to finding out who ran him over.
DAVID RAINS ON THE BABY SHOWER David returns home and is taken aback to find the house full of guests. When Shona explains that they’re throwing a baby shower, David struggles to hide his unease, explaining to Shona that throwing a party seems inappropriate given that their baby is such high risk. Shona gazes round at her embarrassed guests.
ELSEWHERE Sally promises the girls that she’ll sort out a visit with their Mum on Christmas Day. Tim worries she’s setting them up for further disappointment as the prison might not allow visitors on Christmas Day. Gary tells a concerned George and Christina that as he passed by Todd and Theo’s flat, he heard a crash.
