Natalie J. Robb, who plays Moira Dingle in Emmerdale, has revealed some exciting details about the Dingle family’s Christmas and teased a challenging start to 2026.
Speaking about the upcoming festive episodes, Natalie confirmed that for once, the family will be truly united for Christmas Day: ‘This Christmas Moira, Cain and the family are all going to be together. So it’s lovely as for once the family is together for Christmas Day,’ she confirmed.
‘In fact we have two surprise Christmas arrivals to add to the mix and there are some quite amusing scenes where one of them tries to get Cain to dance. It is fun and there is nice family stuff going on so I hope people enjoy it.’

While Christmas sounds cozy, the New Year looks set to be anything but simple for the Dingle matriarch. Natalie hinted that her recent ‘Celia drama’ storyline will have lasting consequences. ‘I’m really looking forward to it as there are lots of good things coming up. We have the big episodes before and then Corriedale. But Moira is going to have quite a rocky time. It’s going to be stressful. The Celia drama will have a knock on effect.’
When asked to write a New Year’s resolution for her character, Natalie’s advice for Moira was straightforward: ‘Don’t trust people so quickly.’
