A brand new Corriedale trailer is here and with 3 weeks to go the drama and excitment is building.

Corriedale CONFIRMED! and a new trailer follows

ITV previously confirmed a ‘mash-up’ of our two favourite communities, where the consequences of the high-stakes drama will have repercussions for both communities and see them linked forever as familiar faces depart and exciting new characters arrive in both soaps.

The 30 second preview was revealed exclusively tonight (Monday) during The Big Quiz, ITV’s annual festive TV special pitting the cast members of Coronation Street and Emmerdale against each other in a battle of soap trivia, hosted by Stephen Mulhern.

And oh boy, there was a lot to unpack in the latest teaser. We’ve also got newly confirmed cast taking part such as Joe Tate and Robert Sugden.

In the aftermath of the multiple vehicle smash Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) takes control of the situation whilst a frantic Carla Connor (Alison King) can be seen trying to calm someone down.

Injured Shona and David Platt (Julia Goulding and Jack P Shepherd) are tended to at the roadside by Emmerdale paramedic Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), whilst Corrie’s own trainee paramedic Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) shares the screen with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) as she tries to help more casualties.

Asha Alahan and Cain Dingle in CorrieDale
Asha meets Cain Dingle – that’s a sentence I never expected to write.

Both shows have pregnant women caught up in the drama, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) can be seen trying to help a screaming Shona in a scene in Hotton General Hospital.

And as the trailer draws to a close Kevin and Abi Webster (Michael Le Vell and Sally Carman-Duttine) search for Debbie at the crash site, while a desperate Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) screams out for Aaron in the darkness alongside Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

Corriedale airs on 5 January at 8pm on ITV1

ITV has also confirmed that the episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street prior to CorrieDale will release at 7am on the morning of broadcast but not CorrieDale.

Catch up on ITVX, and for classic visits to Corrie, these episodes air weekdays on ITV3 as well as on YouTube.
