Never mind New Year, new me. Hollyoaks is proving New Year – same old drama that we know and love.
Following the success of the 30th-anniversary crossover, Liverpool-born actors Philip Olivier and Suzanne Collins are officially reprising their legendary roles as Tim ‘Tinhead’ O’Leary and Nikki Shadwick.

Sparks are set to fly between Liberty and Tinhead this January. However, Sienna’s sisterly instincts suggest he is up to no good. Philip Olivier teased, ‘Tinhead’s got a new fling this time around but he’s also got some unfinished business lurking in the background’.
Nikki Shadwick will form an unexpected bond with Mercedes McQueen while both are staying at a local rehabilitation facility. Suzanne Collins shared her excitement, stating, ‘I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw Nikki has a friendship with the iconic Mercedes. I’ve been floating around on cloud nine with the biggest secret smile on my face’.

Elsewhere, we are also introduced to Jenson (played by Ryan Clayton) with the new trailer teasing an attraction between him and Mercedes.
Ste is set to see a ghost when he comes face to face with his husband, James, who was previously thought to be dead.
Dodger opens up about the events that took place during his time in Liverpool.
Concerns grow for Cleo as she battles postpartum psychosis. The village is left in shock when baby Joseph is rushed to the hospital with suspicious injuries.
Also, Ant’s behavior continues to spiral as he is seen throwing a chair at school.
