Monday 9th February

SHONA AND JODIE FACE UP TO THEIR FATHER Shona, convinced Jodie is hiding something, follows her to a psychiatric hospital where Jodie tearfully introduces their confused, estranged father. Jodie explains how she was left to care for him after their mother fled. Shona is touched and assures Jodie she’s part of the family now. 

WILL BERNIE TELL ALL? As Mal passes through the café on his way up to the flat, Ryan recognises him, Bernie explains that Mal’s an electrician, he’s doing some work for Roy and she’d be grateful if he didn’t mention the incident at the hotel to anyone else. When Bernie reveals that the guy doing Roy’s electrics is the same guy she spent the night with at the hotel, Gemma’s horrified and advises her to come clean to Dev before he hears it from someone else. Will Bernie take Gemma’s advice? 

DEBBIE’S ASSIGNED A CARER Debbie’s assigned an inmate to look after her, but she’s not best pleased to discover it’s Lou Michaelis…

ELSEWHERE Sarah and Geroge treat Todd to a few beers and a takeaway. Todd’s touched but when he notices some missed calls from Theo, he quickly moves away to listen. 

Tuesday 10th February

JODIE FORCES SHONA TO LET LOOSE An exhausted Shona snaps at Lily as she’s banging on about a limited edition water bottle, leading David telling her to take the afternoon off. When Shona reveals she’s thinking of visiting their Dad, Jodie manipulates her into a night out instead. Later, at the bistro, Shona rounds on Carl for flirting with Jodie, who feigns tears. After plying Shona with alcohol, a calculating Jodie summons David to help carry his drunken wife home. With Shona safely in bed, Jodie then persuades David to spend more time with her by watching a film.

MAL THINKS BERNIE’S A DIAMOND In the café, as Mal watches Dev and Bernie together, he makes out to Roy that the flat needs a complete re-wire, determined to stick around.

SAM SEES A WAY TO IMPROVE HIS GRADES Sam, furious after Daniel revealed his essay was missing, realised Megan is behind this. After Maggie tries everything to get Ben to cancel, they all head to the Bistro for Eva’s birthday meal. Sam intently listens as Daniel discusses the misuse of ADHD medication for a study aid. At the bar, Megan speaks to Will while Sam watches them like a hawk.

ELSEWHERE Adam tells Carl that he hopes to use Debbie’s TIA to have her sentence reduced.

Guilty over Summer being skint after buying groceries, Todd secures a wage advance from George and gives Summer half. 

Brassic fans will know Steve from his role as Farmer Jim – a role he played alongside Corrie’s Jude Riordan aka Sam Blakeman, who starred as Tyler Croft.

Wednesday 11th February

THEO MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR TODD TO SAY “NO” Todd joins James for brunch, making out he’s left his bank card, James pays. Theo returns home and makes a dig at Todd for wasting money, then hands Todd a tenner, telling him to buy something for tea and make sure he gets a receipt. Tossing Billy’s photo in the bin, Theo heads out with the bin bag. Theo confronts Todd with a takeaway bag he found in the outside bin, pointing out the calorific content of a curry and orders Todd on a run.

James watches with concern as Todd limps down the street. Back in the flat, Todd notices Billy’s photo missing, will Theo own up? Later, as Todd emerges from the bedroom and rubs his neck, clearly in pain. 

DAVID PUSHES HIS CONCERNS TO THE SIDE Jodie thanks David for making her feel so welcome.  David confides in Nick that there’s something very strange about Jodie. Jodie looks through her trinket box and pulls out a locket. What is Jodie keeping? 

SAM IS FEELING THE PRESSURE As Sam sets off for school, he reads a message on his phone offering him Ritalin for £5 a tab. Megan approaches Sam and tells him she’s concerned about his work and offers him extra help. What will Sam choose to do? 

ELSEWHERE Ollie asks Lauren on a date and over dinner in the bistro, Lauren chats away to Ollie. Is love in the air? 

Thursday 12th February

TORMENTED TODD LOSES HIS COOL Theo chuckles to himself at the love bite on Todd’s neck. The day worsens as an angry woman called Annie threatens to sue George over a manipulated will. Later, at the shop, a broken Todd, tormented by Jake’s teasing about the love bite, snaps when he suggests he’s pregnant. Gary intervenes, leaving Todd mortified. Back home, having had a call from Gary, how will Theo react to Todd? 

SAM IS PUSHED TO DESPERATE MEASURES Megan plants the seed in Daniel’s mind that Sam hates her and tells him that she offered him some help with his coursework, but he threw it back in her face. 

JODIE IMPRESSES DAVID Jodie makes David a hot breakfast wrapped up ready to take to work but masking his unease, David thanks her and heads out. As Jodie dusts the living room, she smashes David and Shona’s wedding photo. 

ELSEWHERE Having enjoyed their date together, Ollie invites Lauren to a student party in Fallowfield. When telling Betsy and Carla, Betsy offers to lend her some clothes.

Friday 13th February

WILL’S TEMPER GETS THE BETTER OF HIM Daniel meets the man, Colin, jailed for his attack at Christmas as part of the restorative justice programme, only to realise he wasn’t his attacker afterall. Will, already tense over money and warned by Maggie about his short fuse, is exposed when Daniel hears a remark about his “terrible temper”. Will the truth click into place? 

CARL FIGHTS A FIRING WITH FIRE Ryan orders Carl to put up QR code stickers, but Carl refuses, which prompts Ronnie to back Ryan. Discovering the stickers binned, Ryan sacks Carl, who, in a fit of rage, forms a sinister plan to set the hotel on fire. 

TODD TRIES TO RUN FROM HIS PROBLEMS Todd returns from a run and collapses unconscious on the ground in front of George and Christina. Will Todd finally tell all? 

ELSEWHERE At the hospital, the consultant tells David and Shona that Harper’s operation will take place on 4th March. Carla enlists Betsy’s help and asks her to get Lisa to come to the Chariot Square Hotel tomorrow as she’s planning to surprise her.
