Sensing Rex is struggling with grief, Froggy decides today they will scatter Grace’s ashes. Before they set off, Ste gets down on one knee and proposes to Rex, will he say yes…
Later, on a clifftop overlooking the sea, Froggy and Rex talk memories of Grace as they prepare to scatter her ashes. Froggy wonders whether Rex will accept Ste’s proposal, and advises him that sometimes secrets aren’t necessarily a bad thing…
Mercedes has chemistry with fellow patient Jake at the rehab facility, unaware that his real name is Jenson, and he has a secret connection to Warren… Nikki advises Mercedes to work on her relationship with Warren. At group therapy, Mercedes opens up about loss and her fears of being sober. Jake offers support.
Prince apologises to John Paul for dragging him into the situation they both find themselves in, but John Paul feels guilty for bringing Smithy into their lives. However, it’s not over yet…
Ro tells his family he’s decided he wants to be a mechanic, but Diane isn’t best pleased. Ro tells his siblings he doesn’t want to go to university and Ant offers to try and talk her round.
Gemma apologises to Warren for causing him and Mercedes to break up, but it’s clear she still has a soft spot for him.
Ro turns up and asks Rex for a job.
Dodger tells Theresa about a new case he’s working on, an armed robbery of a confectionary shop. Mercedes invites Warren to couples therapy tomorrow. Later, at The Dog, Dodger is alarmed to find out who’s behind the armed robbery…

Dodger and his policemen colleagues send John Paul and Prince into a panic when they turn up on their doorstep…
Ro arrives at the garage ready to start his new job.
Donny’s got some new wheels for the revival of his former business in Brookside Close, Mick’s Pizza. Dillon’s worried to how Misbah will react having invested in Donny’s business.
Vicky comes up with an idea to buy the salon and start her own business as a beautician.
At the Blakes, a guilty Tinhead has a confession to make to smitten Liberty.
At the hospital, Gemma promises to help Vicky with her business, and a patient eyes up Vicky… At Casa McQueen, the patient from the hospital, Miles finds Vicky and gives her his card – he’s a talent scout and she’s exactly what they’re looking for.
Jake finds a downtrodden Mercedes who has just been stood up by Warren for their counselling session. It gets steamy between the pair.
Diane finds out that Ro has been bunking school and finds him at the garage.

Mercedes and Jake are making out in a laundry room when they hear a ruckus…

Vicky is considering calling the scout, but Dillon and Frankie are wary.
Gemma tells Misbah she’s going to be Vicky’s new business partner, and she plans to surprise her sister with plans for them to buy the salon.
