Monday 16th February 2026
During his police interview, Bear confesses to DS Walsh that he killed Ray. Walsh gently questions a confused Bear, who struggles to recall details about Ray’s death but insists that he was alone and that it was an accident. Marlon rushes into the station to comfort Paddy, who blames himself for the situation. Back in the interview room, DS Walsh pressures Bear about his slip of the tongue, but he insists that he acted alone. An agitated Bear insists he was the only one involved in Ray’s death. When Walsh changes the subject to Moira, she’s intrigued to hear that Cain pressured Bear to tell the Police that he never saw Moira at Celia’s farm.
Now back home, Paddy’s inconsolable and breaks down, fearing that he, Bear and Dylan will end up in prison. Marlon urges him to hold onto the hope that Bear’s actions will be recognised as self-defence and he will be released.
Arthur’s too distracted by his phone to serve customers and earns a telling off from Gabby. After an explosive row, Arthur quits his job, leaving Laurel guilty about all the upheaval in her son’s life. Laurel catches Arthur searching for his passport and declares that he’s moving to Australia. Questioning how he’ll find the money, she intercepts an envelope and discovers a shocking amount of cash. Laurel is furious when Arthur confesses the money was in Ray’s bag along with the drugs she previously disposed of. In a heated exchange, Arthur threatens to tell people that she hit him, causing Laurel to break down in tears at the deterioration of their relationship.
Liam informs Cain that Bear has confessed to killing Ray, giving Cain hope that this news could help prove Moira’s innocence. Whilst visiting Moira, just as he’s about to tell Moira about his diagnosis, an unexpected scuffle between prisoners interrupts them. Thrown off, Cain decides against sharing his bad news and instead tells Moira about Bear’s confession, desperately hoping it will lead to her freedom. Moira can see he’s clutching at straws but agrees that it’s more hope than they had before.
Tuesday 17th February 2026
Confused, Bear is questioned about his contradictory statements, Paddy repeatedly interrupts to support Bear’s story, leading DS Walsh to suggest Paddy might be involved with the murder. Paddy begins to panic when DS Walsh is unable to believe that Bear moved Ray’s body alone.. After Paddy updates Mandy, Marlon and Rhona on Bear’s police interviews, he begins to spiral when DC Chen arrives and requests that both he and Dylan are interviewed at the station in the morning.
Laurel catches Arthur searching for his passport and declares that he’s moving to Australia. Questioning how he’ll find the money, she intercepts an envelope and discovers a shocking amount of cash. Laurel is furious when Arthur confesses the money was in Ray’s bag along with the drugs she previously disposed of. In a heated exchange, Arthur threatens to tell people that she hit him, causing Laurel to break down in tears at the deterioration of their relationship.
Laurel catches Arthur searching for the envelope full of Ray’s money. He apologises for holding her to ransom and pleads with her to let him use the money to travel. Once Arthur leaves, Laurel retrieves the envelope of money from its hiding place and puts it in her bag for safety. Later on, when Laurel overhears Marlon and Rhona discussing their debt, she makes a decision.
Mandy arrives unexpectedly and is shocked by the police presence. As Paddy leaves with the police, he instructs Dylan and Marlon to explain the full situation to her.
Wednesday 18th February 2026
Overcome with guilt, Ruby confesses to Cain that she was the one who called the police about Anya’s body, leaving Cain blindsided. Cain is livid after Ruby’s confession, and accuses Caleb and Ruby of throwing Moira under the bus by involving the police. He concludes Caleb’s offer of a lawyer for Moira must have been out of guilt and furiously orders them to leave.
Bear is charged with manslaughter.
Dawn tells Joe that she thinks she might be pregnant.
Thursday 19th February 2026
Bear’s solicitor tries to reassure Paddy reminding him that Bear acted in self defence. Paddy is left encouraged to think Bear might get bail. However, when they try to encourage him to think strategically about his plea trial, fragile Bear’s determined to plead guilty and do the ‘honourable thing’
Joe encourages Graham to pursue Rhona if that’s what he really wants. Heeding Joe’s words, Graham turns up at Smithy cottage and declares his love for Rhona, blindsiding her.
Sarah urges Cain to stop pushing away those who are trying to help him, but will he listen to his granddaughter?
Friday 20h February 2026
Manpreet, Kammy and Vinny are entranced by the sight of the Delorean parked outside the shop, but it’s not long before it’s taken for a joy ride.
Kammy and Ross are determined to match-make Lewis and Vinny.
