Hollyoaks spoilers reveal danger for Lucas and cancer diagnosis for Diane leaves her friends distraught

Monday 9^th March

After receiving a diagnosis for advanced stage ovarian cancer, Diane tries to get through the morning routine with her children.  Unaware of the news, an upbeat Tony returns home with brother Dom in tow after their golf retreat. 

Prince is teaching a yoga class at the school. Diane has forgotten but Nancy encourages her to attend.  The pair meet Leela and the trio catch up on daily life, where Diane casually mentions that she has been diagnosed with cancer, leaving her friends speechless and distraught.

By the time Diane returns home, Tony has sent Dom home after finding his wife’s diagnosis letter. Diane confirms that it’s true. They are devastated by her prognosis.

In the prison visiting room, Dillon confides in Lucas after finding out what happened to Donny. Lucas offers support. Later, Lucas meets with James and asks for a favour. Lucas rings Dillon, he’s managed to get a phone. The pair fall asleep on the phone together.

Tuesday 10^th March

Its Mother’s Day this weekend, which brings an added layer of heartbreak for Diane when Dee Dee, unaware of her mum’s diagnosis, keeps taking jabs at her. Tony is determined to get a second opinion from the doctors.   

At the Grand Bazaar, the Hutchinson children shop for a Mother’s Day present for Diane and Nancy realises that she mustn’t have told them yet. Nancy tells Darren.

Elsewhere, whilst on the phone to Lucas, Dillon hears a fight taking place and panics when Lucas doesn’t respond.

Mercedes is trying to find her Loverboy ‘Jake’ on social media. Theresa reckons that Mercedes must miss intimacy and suggests she tries to have some with Warren.

Wednesday 11^th March

At prison, a new cellmate spells danger for Lucas.

At the Grand Bazaar, Froggy advises Rex to buy a dress and start experimenting.

Frankie and Vicky speak to Dillon about their concerns over him rekindling his relationship with Lucas.

Mercedes has arranged a romantic meal for her and Warren tonight.

Mercedes is fuming when Warren is a no show for their date.
