Corrie airs at 8.30pm on ITV1

SAM FINALLY FINDS AN ALLY In the cafe, Nina tells Eva that she’s worried about Sam, he’s barely touched his food and appears very shaky. As Eva heads over, Megan arrives. Clearly terrified, Sam pushes past them and dashes out. Eva goes after him but as she calls out, Sam collapses unconscious on the pavement. Megan pulls out her phone to call an ambulance.

KIT’S PROBLEMS MAY HAVE ONLY JUST BEGUN Lisa quizzes Kit about the attack on Mal Roper. Kit gives nothing away. When Lisa reveals a witness has come forward, Kit masks his unease. Kit ambushes the witness outside the station. Barry recognises him immediately as the man who attacked Mal Roper.

When Adam reveals that Jenna Mackie is ready to sign and it’s a huge coup to have poached one of Fabians’ biggest clients, Alya forces a smile.

ELSEWHERE At the undertakers, George despairs over the smear campaign, while Todd’s miserable as Theo collects the rest of his belongings. Christina spells out to George and Todd that they need to buck their ideas up.
