Ben is impatiently waiting for Xanthe to talk about his possible move to Oakey – but when she finally opens the door, it’s to tell him that Holly has passed out. They need help but Holly doesn’t want to see her mother.
Later, Ben and Xanthe get to talk – and he explains that he doesn’t want to break up when he goes to Oakey. A surprised Xanthe faces a tricky decision about whether to have a long-distance relationship – but Piper reminds her that they already decided it was important to live independent lives – this might be a bit more than they bargained for, but why not give it a shot? Xanthe tells Ben she’s going to give the long-distance thing a try… Delighted, this seals Ben’s decision – and he breaks the news to his grandparents. The Kennedy’s are sobered and saddened that he’s leaving – they’re not sure what their own future holds…
