Smitten Maya watches after Jacob when he ignores a phone call from Liv. However, she convinces Jacob to keep up appearances with Liv in order for them to have a cover story in place. Jacob plans a date with Liv as a result. Excited Liv heads out on her date with Jacob.

Robert warns Aaron about the advances of teenage boys. Meanwhile poor Gabby is having a crisis as she realises how close Liv and Jacob have become as she confides in Laurel about her feelings.
