Essie and Jac have mixed feelings when charismatic Kian arrives at Holby, a whirlwind of transatlantic charm and aftershave. But despite quickly winning over most of Darwin it’s Jac he has to impress.

Ange tries to limit family fallout following recent revelations, all the while treating a pessimistic patient determined to think the worst. Dom is irritated when Carole starts work on reception.

Donna is flattered when a new career opportunity is presented but is she sure she wants the added responsibility? When Donna learns that Scary Sue is also up for the role she realises that her friends’ encouragement might not have been entirely selfless.
