Casualty fans are in for a blast from the past as Jane Hazlegrove reprises her role as Dixie for two episodes. Dixie’s appearance comes as the team are called out to assist the paramedic team with a young lad who has a life-threatening chest injury.
Dixie is part of the HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Medical Service) team. Iain is left with a lasting impression when he sees his old colleague taking on a new challenge which leads to him thinking about his own future.

Jane Hazlegrove says: “It was really great to see some familiar faces again and of course to hang out with Sir Michael Stevenson…despite the fact that his jokes haven’t got any better!”
