Earlier this year Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) was sent to prison after her abuse of Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren-Plant) was discovered, but in episodes airing this week news of her release reaches David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) who worries what impact this may have on his son.
It’s understandable why David and Leyla are worried by Maya’s imminent release from prison.
When they decide to break the news he seems surprisingly composed.
Things worsen when Leanna tries to be supportive and Jacob abruptly absconds, leaving David and Leyla worried sick that he’s gone to try and meet Maya.
Could Maya’s release from prison also bring a baby bombshell to David’s door as well as a ‘who’s the daddy’ storyline?
