It’s back to the business for the cast and crew of the hit BBC One medical soap Doctors after filming was halted in March amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
When we last left the team Ruhma was battling Covid-19 in a special lockdown episode in June.
Production on the show has put measures in place to ensure the health and safety of the team including adherence to the current government guidelines on social distancing.

It’s been a big year full of high drama for the show which celebrated 20 years in March with an hour long episode and the brief return of Diane Keen back in the role of Julia. It’s been a busy year for Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) who was set up and locked up for drugs offences.
Speaking about the return to filming Exec Producer Mike Hobson explains: ‘It’s been a long process of preparing the set, the crew and actors, to make sure we are working in the safest environment possible.
Doctors will return to BBC One later this year.
