Emmerdale spoilers: Monday 17 August 2020

Malone intimidates Dawn telling her that her testimony against him has been taken as false. Dawn tries to act cool, but when Malone produces a wrap of heroin and syringe from his pocket, Dawn backs away in horror. Malone pulls a gun on Dawn when she prepares to fight him and recoils in horror as Malone takes a menacing step towards her. Dawn breaks down in tears as Malone tempts her to take her own life by overdosing on heroin. Before she can do anything, someone comes to Dawn’s rescue. And we see Malone’s body sprawled out on the floor…

Gabby’s anguished as she opens up to Leyla about how lonely she feels as Bernice has refused to let her join her in Australia. A warm Leyla tries to comfort her. Gabby’s thrown, but grateful when later, Leyla doesn’t tell Nicola and Laurel about her vandalizing Take a Vow.

Nate’s angry when Al fires him for not attending the meeting.

Mandy’s irritated to see Paul and Vinny continuing to hit it off, believing Paul’s trying to worm his way back into her good graces.

Jamie wants to reveal his and Belle’s relationship to the world, but she thinks it’s too soon.
