Devious Ray’s plan to buy up and then bulldoze property in Weatherfield will be the central point to the drama facing the residents of Coronation Street this December as ITV celebrates the shows 60th anniversary.

Recently Ray Crosby saw to it that David’s house was unsafe before this week moving onto Gary Windass when he offers to pay £400,000 for the factory.

It is unclear yet if Ray manages to get his hands on the factory but by the time December comes he will have brought up most of the property and businesses in the area, ready to flatten and make way for his new development.

As the bulldozers arrive on the cobbles the race is on to save Britain’s most famous street.

This isn’t the first fight to save the cobbles as Coronation Street went live in December 2000 for their 40th anniversary asnd much like now there was plans to pave over them.

Coronation Street celebrates 60 years this December on ITV.
