When Max puts Kian on desk duty, he feels frustrated but when Jac’s replacement turns up for her first day on Darwin, Sahira Shah, he thinks he can sweet talk her. With a formidable spring in her step, she works alongside an intrigued Nicky and Chloe, but is not taken with Kian. Sahira is touched by the warmth and love of her elderly patient and their partner, seeking to give them the best support she can. But when things go wrong in theatre, she battles to save the patient, and then is left heartbroken when things don’t work out exactly as she had planned.
A warm, vibrant, charming new Nurse, Kylie joins a busy AAU, and Cameron, Fletch and Jeong hazard a guess at whether she last the full day. But Kylie’s seems to take on the challenge, as her patient becomes in awe of her, leaving her colleagues eating humble pie.
Sacha gets the shock of his life when Jodie turns up at the hospital. Sacha thinks that he can control Jodie by speaking to her, on a level, so that he can get her admitted to a psychiatric Unit, where she belongs. However, Jodie drops a huge bombshell and Sacha’s world is turned upside down, once again as he struggles to retain his feelings. Meanwhile, Dom and Donna are bemused that Jodie is back, and are worried about their boss and how he’s coping.
