Holby City spoilers: Series 22 Episode 38

As Sacha pulls Dom from the car wreckage, Hanssen debates whether he did the right thing. Rushed into theatre, Dom’s life is left hanging in the balance. For Sacha and Hanssen, the pressure is on as they vehemently fight to save him.

But this comes at a cost, and Ange is devastated when she learns that things haven’t gone to plan surgically; the effects of which will be life changing for Dom.

Sahira gallantly tries to steer a smooth sailing ship, bringing her flock together. She sees that Nicky and Chloe are distracted and that Kian is still sulking at being stationed on desk duty. She’s taken by surprise when a keen and eager Cameron sidles up to her, wanting to be transferred from AAU to Darwin, claiming that his heart is in Cardiothoracics.

He’s now ready to make that move, while Nicky thinks that considering what’s happened to poor Dom, that Ange may not be in the best place to deal with his selfish career plans.

Jodie is ferried straight up to Keller to be met by a worried Donna. Sacha vows to save Jodie’s baby as she begs him to put their daughter first. When Jodie’s estranged mother Linda arrives, Sacha detects that they are far from close, and starts to understand the psychological damage that this has created for Jodie.

He works with Lucky to ensure that Lucky is admitted to a safe psychological unit, so she can get the help she needs. But their efforts are in vain when a distraught Jodie goes missing.

Meanwhile Donna and Alex continue to be sceptical about their allusive patient Bobby, ending up closer than they ever imagined.
